The pictures posted are true. The room is large, the bed larger than king (2 double beds side to side), with spacious tv/study room, and very large bathroom. I love the bathtub! It is also in a great location. About 200M from nearest MTR (Zhongshan Elementary School), a bus stop is in front, and close to establishments like Coco, McDo, Carrefour and local restaurants. If you are coming from the airport, you can access this via Airport Commuter Line Sanchong Station (though with many stops - option is Airport Express then transfer to Commuter Line in New Taipei Industrial Park Station), then take the Orange Line from Sanchong to Zhongshan Elementary School. Over-all, I loved my stay in Xinshe.

Breakfast is okay but there's room for improvement in the breakfast options.

We were fortunate to discover this hotel. Our corner room offered a splendid view of the city, just as advertised. The rooms lived up to our expectations, and we especially relished the extensive breakfast buffet each morning. What stood out to me the most was the hotel's location. Just 250 meters away, you'll find the 'Metro Sanchong Elementary School,' and within a leisurely 20-minute stroll around the hotel, you encounter several major attractions and delightful restaurants.

Regrettably, there appears to be an issue with hotel capacity in Taiwan, and we were taken aback by the overall hotel prices. Additionally, in line with feedback from previous guests, we found the cleaning standards to be average. However, after addressing the matter with the reception once, the situation noticeably improved for the subsequent days.

The room was very spacious, nice bathtub and nice japanese toilet, enough space in the closet. Such a comfortable and large bed, we slept great! Nice sky garden/terrace and a different variety of food every day at breakfast, including 1 or 2 kinds of bread with 2 kinds of the same jam (which we didn't mind). It's close to the metro station of the yellow line and a small night market, as well as many other places to eat.

The carpet was really not clean (it seems they don't use vacuum cleaners at all, only lint brushes) and towels and bedsheets had hairs on them, probably from the housekeeping staff. I recommend them to use hairnets. The bidet strain of the toilet has probably never seen any cleaning which was a little disgusting. Staff at the breakfast restaurant and housekeeping staff were very friendly, but no one in the hotel seems to speak an amount of English to communicate more than hello/bye/yes/no and the front desk staff is not welcoming at all as they never say hello or even answer to your greeting.

The service was fantastic from start to finish, every staff member was beyond helpful and made it a completely care free stay (which wasn't our experience at a previous hotel in Taipei). The room was huge for the price and very comfortable. The location is perfect and we would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great stay.

Breakfast wasn't ideal for us because we're vegan (common issue everywhere), but at the price we paid this really wasn't an issue - fantastic value.

Convenient location - near Zhongshan Elementary, POYA departmental store (saved me when I ran out of necessities!), and walking distance to Tamsui-Xinyi (red) metro line making it accessible to many places.

The arrangement of furniture in the room is a little strange - the TV is super near the couch. Not really enough hangers for a room for three.

Friendly staff. Nice big room, well equipped, luxurious bath room (compared to what we saw before). Close to yellow line.

We arrived early and my wife was sick. We asked whether we could enter the room already to rest, but they did not try to make it happen. The only offer was to check in 1 h before, but this „special offer“ was quite expensive. It was not easy to communicate - for a hotel of that size with 3 receptionists at the entrance, one would expect that at least one could speak a little english (they weren‘t able to say „6th floor“). But using the right apps, you can still communicate in some way…

Great location, nice big room with shower, baby bath and smart toilet, v big bed, cosy.

Staff not very nice, e.g. my wife alone performed the checkin with a baby and 3 bags yet they didn’t help her whatsoever and then woke then up 3 times to ask for payment, although it was already fully paid in advance. The breakfast is basic but ok. The breakfast lady was great though and helped us.

We were staying at the hotel for a week and for a spacious room, a sitting room, a comfy super-king bed and breakfast included we were paying €66 per night. The accommodation in Taipei isn't cheap so I think it was a very good value for the price. The hotel is a few steps away from a metro station which brings you everywhere in Taipei. A local market called Qingguang Market is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, also McDonald's and Carrefour market are close by if you are not used to Taiwanese food.

The breakfast could have been better; we were expecting a buffet-style breakfast, but it could be the covid protocol so that the breakfasts were brought to the room which is fine, the issue was apart from the first day we had Mcdobald's the rest of the week the breakfast was either a sandwich or a hamburger. I reckon during our stay there weren't too many restaurants open so they couldn't provide us with more choices.

Taipei is not that geared towards Western visitors, and this hotel was no exception. The staff did not speak much English though they were very pleasant and as helpful as they could be. The breakfast was really aimed at Asian tastes, with not much on offer for European visitors, and especially for one of us who is gluten free. The room was on the small side with rather large heavy furniture, but it was clean and the bathroom was very roomy.

Room was pretty roomie. Location was excellent. Near a night market, Coco bubble tea, McDonald's, Bafang; all within walking distance. There was a large store next to the hotel where you can find all sort of stuff. Staff was very helpful with giving information and being helpful.

Nothing really, the hotel was fine. The only thing that was horrible was the Typhoon, lost 1.5 days since most places were closed. Nothing to do with the hotel.
