The hotel was awesome and probably the best stay we have ever had in Asia. The location is great with night market, restaurants and many shopping opportunities around. The service was excellent!

This is now really being nitpicky, but the only thing that bothered us, was that the bed was a bit too short for us. But everything else was amazing!

Firstly, good location as it is near most places in Taipei and surrounded by convinient stores. Plenty of food option within walking distance. Although renovated not too long ago, Landis still maintain an old luxury charm. Property is towards the smaller side. Rooms were decent sized and comfortable. Furnitures are a little dated, however it is sufficient for the stay. I enjoyed the automated toilet bowl, clean toilet and comfotable bed. The gym was old and needs newer machine options. Did not see a pool during my stay. Checkin and out was smooth with courteous and friendly staff. The price is considered reasonable for the stay (also compared to expensive Taipei hotels). Overall it was a good stay and I would revisit again.

Property was towards the aging side; however, it is still acceptable (I can be quite fussy). Gym definitely needs an improvement.

the location is convenient as the train station is about 350m from the hotel. It is away from the noisy night market and we have good night sleep. though the staff were helpful we find it strange that the house keeping did not top up the shower gel which ran out in one of the nights. the gym equipment was a bit old and should be changed for 5 star hotel

i was annoyed that my booking did not go through due to my credit card. But i used the same card for other hotels in Taiwan, in Taichung and Chiayi. I called Landis from Hotel 7 in Taichung but they did not buy it saying that is their policy. I used different cards and still did not get through too. But i have no issue with the other hotels. Finally it only went through using my wife's card. The policy is dead but the human is alive, we were in Taiwan but the staff did not buy it. It was stressful for me as my family would have no place to stay if the cards did not get through. I wonder if their system was at fault or my cards.

We only stayed a single night, but we loved the experience. Our room was well-designed, super clean, and the bed and bath all very comfortable. It had a nice view, a seating area, and it was quiet, despite being located on a major street. In fact, the location is great, as the hotel is located just a short walk from the yellow MTR line and in an area full of restaurants and cafes. The staff were professional and accommodating. Can warmly recommend and would definitely go back.

We had no complaints. Perfect stay.

Near to Taipei main station and not too far to walk from metro station. Also close to some late night eateries and we can just pack our food back to the room, instead of waiting in the long queue. We got upgraded to a corner and bigger room. Very comfortable stay. The staffs are very friendly and smiley, making us feel welcome.

The sound proofing could be better. But not sure if it is because our room is one of the adjoining rooms. We were told to turn down the volume when the tv wasn't that loud.

Highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Taipei! It's not within walking distance of the key attractions/areas but it is a short bus ride/uber ride away from most places. Service and staff were incredible - highly efficient, helpful and very good service during our stay. We had an early check-in, recommendations/planning suggestions for the next few days and taxi booked to the airport all sorted within 10 minutes due to the staff's capabilities! Room itself was very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. I liked the lighting features of the room! Bed was very comfortable, there were soft and firm pillows to choose from (little touches like this go a long way). Very well-equipping gym on the top floor of the hotel and there's a yoga room too

Highly recommended. perfect stay in Taipei. me and my wife had a wonderful experience at our 3 nights stay in Landis, first thing I love the most is the toilet and bath super clean and modern. I am very particular about the toilet cleanliness. The room was comfy, bed and all amenities such as wardrobe, entertainment w/ Sony TV and Bose speakers. We understand that they support an environmental friendly hotel so no toiletries provided except for the towel, shampoo, bodywash, conditioner and tissue paper. The staff were very helpful, one morning I ask them to reheat my food which bought outside so they assisted and also, help me do the photocopying of my documents which I really need. Indeed, a pleasant stay for a reasonable price compared to other 5 star hotel, btw transportation is also accessible by bus across the hotel and by MRT Zhongzheng Elementary School station 5 mins walk.

Staff were very attentive. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and the power shower excellent. The property was very clean. A private evening city tour was arranged for me which was well organised and just what I wanted. A “whistle stop” tour for approx 3 hours. Communication was always superb and efficient

The room was very slightly dated (not a complaint). Very subjective of course but I’m pointing to the colours, textiles etc - the bed and accommodation was still extremely comfortable. Breakfast had limited choices - for example the fresh fruit comprised only Dragon fruit, Guava and Water melon. It would have been nice to have had a broader choice such as mango and other melons. The bar shut at 22.30 (Saturday night).

The location was amazing, very close to the subway. The staff went above and beyond at every interaction. They probably had the best breakfast selection I ever experience in all of Asia. Room was comfy and always very clean. Would without a doubt stay again next time I am in Taipei.

Only a very small inconvenience was that for the first 2 days they had this amazing a la carte options for breakfast that we fell in love with. Sadly, for the rest of the stay this was for some reason no longer available, which was a bit disappointing.

We spent five days in this hotel and we were very happy with our choice. Some of the advantages were a nearby metro stations, a lot of nearby restaurants and coffeehouses (including an amazing Michelin restaurant in the hostel's basement). The rooms were very comfortable with first-rate amenities.

Compared to the excellent services offered in the hotel, the breakfast was only OK. For good coffee go to one of the nearby coffeehouses.
