Disliked: There are 7 rooms on each floor, but only two specific type of rooms got windows with city view. The other 5 rooms is facing directly to a office building in 3 meters. Literally, 90% you will get a room with your curtain always there. 2/10

Centrally located and near to MRT and bus station. Although a non halal certified cafe for breakfast, have the options of salads, fruits, breads and variety of Yakult drinks.

Under the impressions that the cafe n hotel are muslim freindly/ halal foods. However, this was not so. Also there is no water dispenser available. However, bottle filtered water is freely available at receptionist area.

Check-inn hotel was conveniently located to the train station with several entrances close by. After a long travel day it was nice to not have to walk with our luggage very far. The staff were ready to check us in were Abe to get both of our rooms booked on the same floor. Upon entering the cute boutique like hotel we noticed its lovely wonderful smell of peach, noticed the umbrellas available for guest to use, this was a nice touch as it rained the first half of our week stay. There were chairs and tables in the lobby area to enjoy our snacks or as we waited for the rest of our group to come down. The elevators only allowed guest with a key to access the upper flors. That was a nice safety feature. Although the pictures looked great I did notice that the place was not very clean, our bathroom showed much signs of mold. And the carpets were stained. We loved the view from our room but noticed a lot of noise outside our window all night, maybe a birds nest? Overall, the hotel was just right for the price, would recommend it for those traveling on budget.

This was my home for three weeks. The location was perfect bc of the orange line. For others it might not be depends what you require. Also the front desk staff was eager to assist. Just be mindful that not every staff member has English proficiency however front desk will happily assist you if your Mandarin is in working progress.

There was an incident when suddenly electrical company without informing the Check Inn shut off electricity to the facility. At the moment I was in a lift; I used intercom & alarm button and didn’t get a response. As I was not sure how long I would wait I opened up the elevator doors & escaped. I talked about this with staff and they took the situation seriously offering me compensation. In the end, they improved their procedures for such events, paying closer attention to the lifts. I highly appreciate their approach to the situation.

The price is reasonable and affordable. It has perfect location where it’s very convenient and close to MRT station. Many restaurants are located nearby. The staffs are friendly.

The room is a little small.

Check-inn provided comfortable rooms with very reasonable rates. I loved the location of the inn- it is close to the MRT and many conveniences. Thank you for going the extra mile to call me when my mom left a clothing item behind. I recommend this inn to those who are seeking a clean, convenient, and nice place to stay. The one thing that can be improved is the soundproofing, as it is easy to hear the next room's conversations, and likely vice versa- otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

I stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and it was obvious in a better shape them but what I liked most then was the same thing I experienced now. The location is absolutely superb with metro just next to the hotel. The small streets in area behind the hotel hosts many small shops and a lot of good smal cafes.

The hotel has gotten used over the last 10 years since I was there last time, especially the carpets in the hall in front of the rooms and some of the edges in the bathroom - but I would still come back.

Reliable internet. Cute twin room layout with beds lined against a wall horizontally. Few steps away from Zhongshan metro stop. Good water pressure for shower, nice soft lighting in room! Got extra pillows when requested :D

Would appreciate more patience and explanation on the types of invoice that could be provided as I am visiting for the first time and invoice system doesn't immediately make sense. Not appreciative of the price hike during NY and felt it was poor value for money for the comfort. Traffic noisy room, that continued throughout the night - windows are single glazed :(

Ample spread for breakfast with fruits, breads, and an assortment of Western and Asian dishes. The rooms are small but comfortable and amenities are sufficient. The location is very good, right next to the train station and for people like us who prefer to use public transport most of the time, it is really good value. Check-in was super efficient and staff are kind and very helpful. I will definitely stay again if given the time.

Wish we had two pillows each for one person. Rooms only have one for each guest, which is a pity.

Great location and friendly staff.

The carpeted area around the bed was stained and did not feel clean on bare feet. Luckily the hotel did provide slippers. The room’s soundproofing is not the best. For two nights we had stayed quite close to some rowdy guests, and it was quite hard to have a decent sleep at night. Otherwise the stay was quite pleasant.
