LOCATION amazing location! near bus stations and especially shuttle to the airport near shopping streets, street food/night markets BEDROOMS very comfy. although i have to admit my first night wasnt easy.. some were drunk and fell off their bed, nother one was masturbating and there was a leak SPACES + AMENITIES amazing room for eating (microwave, water, water bottles, etc) massage chairs for free washing and drying machine available for free. you only need to purchase detergeant and drying sheets (for 10NTD each)

BREAKFAST was very basic with not many western or fresh options (chicken nuggets, congee, toasts, butter, salad, ketchup)

This is my second time in Hotel Fun and it was a big improvement as compared to my first time in this hotel. Housekeeping must be given a raise because it was a total turnaround. Everything: bedroom, shared bathroom, linen and public spaces were so clean. I was glad that the gentle male staff at the Front Desk processed my check-in. He was efficient, no fuss, no drama. It was unlike my first time when grumpy ladies at the reception I encountered during my first visit. You wondered why I came back? It is because of the price this hotel offers. Very reasonable with modest buffet breakfast.

The breakfast is quite localized and diversified but simple. It also offers the salad which is useful to us for our 03-day stay. The motel is clean and near the metro train station. My family just walks within 10 minutes to reach station getting bus or to night market

the double room is so tiny that I need to book more 01 bed in dorm for remaining 02-night stay but it is very comfortable even I slept with strangers :) Frankly, the male staff serviced breakfast isn't friendly, may be he was unhappy when the customers stay over 10AM even they were eating and didn't take any more food. I think f the time is up he could clear up everything and let the clients finish their meal.

Very good value for money. Pretty close to the train station, bus stop and grocery store. Laundry is free. They have a common room sort of a place and a snooker table.

The most happening place in Taipei is Ximen District. This is about a 30 min journey from there by bus / train. And about 20 mins by taxi. The breakfast there could do some overall. It’s mostly traditional Taiwanese Breakfast - which foreigners might not prefer. An English breakfast in addition to the Taiwanese would be nice. The rooms are quite small. And there are no cupboards there. Neither a safe to store valuables. Bed size is also small (myself being 6 ft 2 inch) - I would easily take up most of the bed so I don’t think there’s enough room for two people to sleep comfortably. They also need to get a proper iron with an ironing board. Currently they only have a steam iron, which isn’t necessarily the best option if you’re wanting to iron formal clothes.

A buffet breakfast with some entree selections occurring daily was one of the highlights of staying at this place. This place also has massage chairs which can be used free of charge by those staying. It's in a relatively quiet area of town which has a good selection of alternate food places should you not want to dine at the hotel.

Unfortunately some of the hotel clientele greedily occupied the massage chairs for extended periods of time not even using the massage features but rather just using them as a well padded chair whilst they amuse themselves on their phone..>although the area is video monitored no staff came to remind them of the posted 20 minute per person limit....

The hostel is next to a Poya store, so it was very convenient for travelers to get emergency supplies such as towels, undergarments, snacks, and other amenities that the hostel didn't provide. The nearest MRT station was also within walking distance. Plenty of food places nearby. The free breakfast wasn't fancy, but I was happy with the basics (considering the room's price). The washing machine and dryer are free to use. (Only 10NTD for detergent)

Could have provided tables around the guest lounge where we can eat or write.

The hotel is in a side street which means there is less noise from the outside. The room without a window was also quiet because (yes you guessed it), it does not have a window exposed to a noisy street. The bed was reasonably soft, toiletries were provided, everything was clean. There is a (cold) water fountain next to the lobby where you can refill your bottles. And there are the free massage chairs (mentioned many times) and Internet / computer corner in case you need it. Breakfast was also reasonable to start your day. There is MRT stop and Carrefour Market nearby, but I would definitely recommend to try Tseng Family Soy Milk small shop (on Jinzhou St.) nearby.

For the price we paid - no complains.

The location was really good, close to different bus stations and metro station, grocery shop, some cute restaurants. The bed was really comfortable (we were staying in a double room). Possible to store luggage before/after check-in which was a plus. We also appreciated the possibility of doing laundry on site. Room was clean and some basic toiletries were provided in the room (shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes..). Billiard table and massage chairs available for the guests in the common area.

Don't expect a classic continental breakfast (there was always rice, buns, and some different cooked "stews", from continental breakfast just toast bread, butter and jams). We would like it more if there were at least some eggs added to the menu or if the menu wasn't the same everyday, it was a bit monotone. But overall for the price the breakfast was good enough.

The location was superb. Only five minutes distance from the subway station. It felt safe to walk around too. One night market is only within walking distance and I also liked the fact that I was able to just walk going to our church (INC). With regard to the staff, I think it is expected from non-speaking countries to have a bit snobbish staff but this did not bother me so much since I understand this reaction. The free use of massage chair was also a big plus. Breakfast was okay but since we stayed for about 4 nights, it was a little repetitive.

We cannot get free water refill from the restaurant where we ate breakfast. The staff scolded us from taking water using our water bottles pointing to the sign that water is for restaurant use only (we did not see the sign).

Location: It was very convenient and within walkable distance from the Orange line metro station. The best thing about this hotel is having a BIG departmental convenient store "POYA" directly at level 1 which basically has everything you need if you forgotten to bring for your holiday trip. Room: Everything was clean, new and comfy. Especially the toilet and bathroom were great with anti-slip tiles which are very suitable for families with elderly. Safety is very important. Breakfast: It is ok since we are not too particular about food. However, noodles can be added into the menu for more options as we noticed there was no noodles during our stay. Dishes with vegetarian options are good, they are also very tasty and not too salty or oily.

Basically nothing that was particularly bad about this hotel, maybe breakfast options can have more varieties since there options are quite limited everyday.
