We stayed at the silken hotel for 5 days and 4 nights. Overall had a good experience. The water pressure in the shower was excellent , rooms were sound proof so we slept really well. Our room was spacious and the air conditioning kept it nice and cool. We didn’t need the extra amenities because we only came back to our room to sleep so it was perfect for us. Free snacks and coffee in the lobby were provided but the best part is the staff. There was a young lady at the front desk who was so kind and helpful with questions that we had and even let us keep our suitcases in the lobby after we checked out so we could kill some time due to a later flight.

- Good location, near to MRT station. Bus stop right near the hotel - useful for getting to e.g. Shilin district. - Staff was very hospitable and helpful. Near the end of our stay I was dealing with a lost wallet and the receptionist was kind enough to make some calls on my behalf. I greatly appreciate that. - The room was comfortable and clean, with a big window. - The toilet had a bidet seat. - The hotel offers free coffee and snacks in the lobby - although we did not used it, is is a nice benefit.

- The toilet clogged two times during our 5-day stay, even though we followed the instructions and did NOT throw toilet paper in it. - The matresses were very bouncy, but I guess that comes to personal preference. - There was no soap, we had to used the shower gel. - The staff did not speak English very well.

Being informed that the hotel was renovated more than a year ago, the lobby area is relatively simple and small. The room decor is of soothing theme and colour, the toilet is huge and spacious. The room is bright when curtains are drawn, just next to highway but quiet corner of the neighbourhood. Quiet and safe neighbourhood vibes, close to Shuang Cheng Street Night Market, although small size but relatively crowded during the period of our visits. Counter Staffs were very polite and helpful each and every time we approached them.

Lobby had a musty smell upon entrance upon first arrival, the outlook of the hotel was not exactly what we expected based on the images shown on booking platforms but the room decor and soothing theme and large toilet size made up for the lacking outlook aspects. Along the same floor, our allocated room was the only room equipped with bulky emergency facilities that occupied a section of the room area near to the toilet entrance, we understand that this is for emergency use but it would be good if the counter staff had checked with us before checking us in if we were alright with the room setting or preferred for another room.

Stayed here for a few days with my family, the room is very spacious which we liked very much. We had a very comfortable stay in this nice hotel, I definitely recommend it to families of 4 to 5 people.

The staff are not very good in English so it might be a little hard to communicate. The location is a little far from the touristy spots in Taipei, and also from the bus station and train station so the location is a little inconvenient. However, there are lots of stores, restaurants, and even a night market nearby so there's definitely some stuff to see around (it's just not as bustling compared to other areas in Taipei).

Generally as I expected or slightly better. Off season value for the price is OK. Functional, accessible, mostly new mixed with some wear, nothing bad and no excess. In the room, HVAC with half-degree (Celsius) control, Japanese style toilet with warm seat, electricity sockets with widened plug shape compatibility, no smell of smoke. In the lobby, luggage scale, water/coffee, card payment, helpful staff. Outside, clothes recycling bank (cool), large convenience stores close by.

No Wi-Fi endpoint for the room, though connecting to another room’s endpoint worked well enough. The view from that room isn’t for everyone (I couldn’t care less), most other rooms face another way. Bathtub was a bit short. Location could be a mixed bag. Bit of a walk from public transportation.

Clean room, friendly staff and good location. It is close to several main attractions in the northern part of Taipei. Restaurants, convenient stores and orange line subway station are within walking distance. There are free beverages and snacks in the lounge.

1. There is no luggage rack in the room. I requested one, but they don’t have it. 2. The bottom of the bathtub is higher than the bathroom floor. I fell when I got out of the bathtub the first night because my legs are not long enough to reach the floor. There should be a sigh to warn the guests.

There was free snacks and coffee in the lobby for the guests, the staff were happy to help us book a cab to the airport and the cleaning service was very good too. The room matched the website perfectly, we booked the triple room and it was not only spacious but had a sitting area and a lot of table area too to sit at.

The hotel interior was more old compared to the model design of the rooms, which gives people a wrong impression. It can be more modern to match how nice the hotel rooms are!

Excellent location, just a five minute walk from the MRT. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, 7 - 11 shops, coffee shops (including a Starbucks) and there is a nice little night market close by where they sell cheap and delicious food. The hotel room was nice and clean, clean linen and towels are provided each days as well as free toiletries. Free bottles of water, coffee and tea are also available in the room and they are provided whenever you run out of them. Free snacks and hot drinks are available at the reception. The hotel stuff is nice and helpful, they assisted me when I lost my wallet on the public transports (the wallet was found with everything in it by the way). WiFi is very good by the way.

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel, maybe the fact that the location can be little noisy because of the traffic on the street. It’s a fairly transited area but honestly that didn’t bother me that much.

- Location was great next to a main bus stop on the elevated road that connected to the rest of the city - Cute neighbourhood with local eateries and konbini, as well as a short walk to night markets - Spacious room that was clean with a full bath tub to soak in after a days travel around the city - Friendly front desk staff who always offered help - Snacks + coffee and hot chocolate machine in lobby - Real pleasant surprise and great value

The front desk people were courteous and helpful when I checked in and out. I stayed for three days. The cleaning service was efficient. The room and bathroom is spacious with all the accommodation necessities. I like the ways of how the bedroom lights were set up which make me feel comfortable and cozy at night. The overall experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel and I would return in my next visit.
