Located perfectly within Banqiao. Due to an EDM dance event, rooms in Taipei went over the counter at extreme prices (in the range of 30.000NT a night for a mediocre stay), so we decided to shift to Banqiao in New Taipei City. MRT hotel is a footstroll away from blue line MRT, close to cafés, restaurants, an ATM and a really big mall. Room was one of the more spacious ones we have had and little snacks stood ready when we entered. Airco worked like a charm. First place in Taiwan that we have encountered that has ambient lighting (for if 1 wants to read at night and the other already sleeps). We had two single beds due to late booking but they were of high quality and really big (110 cm wide?)

Check in time was on the late side at 17:00h. Rooms are a bit old fashioned including flaky wallpaper, a bit of frayed carpet and some spots on the ceiling (but it didn't affect our stay, one of the best nights of sleep).

MRT Hotel is very conveniently located approximately 125-150 meters from the Fuzhong MRT station (Blue Line). Front desk staff members and room service staff members are friendly and very helpful. I had to travel away from New Taipei to the southern region for 5 days and MRT Hotel was very nice in storing my large size luggages even though I was not going to stay at the hotel upon my return. The hotel is 150 meters from the New Taipei Police Department. A Hi-Life convenience store is situated directly across the street from the MRT Hotel. There are 2 restaurants next to the hotel. Huangshi local market (with hot foods, drinks, snacks stalls) is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The bed is comfortable. The hotel room and bathroom here is larger than typical hotel rooms situated in the center of town (near / around Taipei Main Station. The laundry washer and dryer machines function well and is very convenient for a traveler who packs light. The hotel is located in a quiet area.

The hotel facilities is beginning to show signs of aging in certain areas such as carpeting and walls. While our room and bathroom are kept clean, the carpet and furniture (chairs, etc), wall coverings/paints, baseboards, etc are beginning to show wear. Some additional power outlets or USB power receptacles would be helpful.

Very conveniently located, right next to an MRT station and bus stops from which one can get to so many places in Taipei and New Taipei directly. For example, there was direct bus that took me to Sanxia in about half an hour! Staff are friendly and helpful

Not really about not liking - just a note that it is quite worn inside and outside but nonetheless still very clean and comfortable

Conveniently located. Close to Fuchong MRT station. 6 minutes walk to Huangshi market where you could get some very traditional local breakfast, has Vietnam and Thai cruise too. 10 minutes walk to Banjiao Nanya night market.

No complaint so far. Receptionist could have been more friendly and informative.

location, location, location --- next to the MRT station and U-bike station. Walking distance to Banqiao HSR and trein station, restaurants, and local markets.

No extra discount for long stay (say longer than 7 days); the daily supply of fresh drinks/snakes should has the option to be "sugar-free" and "caffeine-free" as an opportunity for improvement.

Location was slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the night markets and department stores, but not too far of a walk. Literally a stones throw from the MRT. Room was spacious, clean and bright. Carpet and decor has probably seen its years, but still very clean and tidy.

Nothing much to dislike about this place.

Near the MRT station and price worth the value

Staff needs to be more diligent on safety measures of the hotel.

Stayed one night before continuing our journey to Kaohsiung. The MRT station is so close! Just a few steps away. Really convenient.
