Very good location, getting on direct 1962 bus from airport with stop jut 5 min walk away. Its small but exceptional value for money with basic breakfast adding even better value for money , with shared bathroom that had single use shaving razors, shaving cream other necessities. Staff was pleasant and easy to check in and out.

Even thought space as expected very small and maybe not suitable someone with big suitcase, in the room was no shelfs apart one by the bed for likes phone and computer etc. In a wall was 2 small hooks right next to each other and that it ! Don't think is a budget issue as hook's costs cents ! All this place needed few very simple shelfs and more hooks or just simple washing line like spread across the room , these things would cost just few $s but would make the difference.

My 2nd time here. I stayed here when I first arrived in Taiwan, and now after 2 months of backpacking all over Taiwan, staying in 19 different hotels or hostels, only one of which was better. I appreciated this place even more this time, for everything. I really like the idea of an entire hotel only for single travellers. The small, but big enough single rooms are perfect for those who want to avoid dorms and capsules. Everything you see and read on Booking.com is 100% correct. The outdoor sitting area DOES exist. The booking is no frills. No messages back and forth needed with exact arrival time or with that dreaded e-mail demanding payment up front by bank transfer, which most foreigners can't do. You just turn up any time here and pay. It's open 24h. Common areas are also 24h. The location is even better than I first thought! There's a bus to Jiufen (via Ruifang) that leaves 300m away just across the street from the metro station, and there's a bus to the airport that leaves just 350m away. (It's cheaper than the airport metro), and trains, both North and Southbound can be caught from Banqiao station, which is within walking distance.

It was nothing I didn't like, but a dehumidifier permanent on each floor rather than every 3 days, would have been nice.

Located just a 2-minute walk from Fuzhong Station on the Banqiao Line of the MRT, this place offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with very convenient surrounding amenities. There are several banks and ATMs, as well as numerous convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Exit 1 of Fuzhong Station is equipped with a direct lift, making it convenient for travelers with large or multiple pieces of luggage. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

When introducing the hotel, it's beneficial to highlight its convenient location. For instance, you can mention that it is very close to Fuzhong Station on the Blue Line and also easily accessible to Banqiao Station. This not only serves as an advantage of the hotel but also helps guests better understand its location, making it easier for them to reach.

This place is superb! It was so much better than expected. Such an incredible idea, an entire hotel catering for single people! I'm lacking a fat wallet, preferring a private room and not too keen on climbing up into a potentially 2nd level capsule. I was also looking for a place with an outdoor sitting area where you can smoke. At first the hotel looked really far away, but the location was so much better than expected. The metro in Taipei is incredibly efficient, and even better, both northbound and southbound trains can be caught from Banqiao station which also have buses to several places tourists want to go....and it's within walking distance from the hotel. No need to go to the main station. The metro station is only 2 min walk away for city sightseeing. 7-eleven is next door, and they have a solid selection of ready made meals which they will heath up for you. One of the Lin Family Gardens is 10min walk away. Everything at the hotel was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent lighting in the room. The common bathroom which had plenty of everything you need, were always immaculate. Nice common room, washing and drying machines, snacks and drinks available, good WiFi, friendly staff, common hot bath upstairs , open 24h, sandwiches for breakfast, buffet in the weekends. Couldn't have wished for better. I'll be back.

A little damp in the room. I wish the Aircon had drier air.

Single Inn is conveniently located near Taipei MRT station 'Fuzhong' (one stop after the major station Banqiao). It took a 2 minutes walk from the station exit to the hotel. The room was indeed tiny. The door and wall appeared to be very flimsy at first sight, and with an opening space near the ceiling, you can hear outside noise easily. But fortunately, the entire sleeping floor was dead quiet all the time except when someone lock or unlock the door or some very light quick noise from luggage etc. Overall, the facility was spotless clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Public bath (including an onsen style pool) on the 7th floor added great fun staying in this hotel. Breakfast was acceptable with freshly made sandwich, salad and a few slices of orange. On Sunday morning, it switched to Chinese style buffet. Coffee and hot black tea were also available. Overall, I enjoyed my 3 nights stay at Single Inn with its easy access to Taipei MRT and the nearby temple, market and the famous Lin Family Mansion and Garden. I will stay here again for future short visit to Taipei.

TV in the room never worked. Very few channels to choose and signals were so poor that you can barely see anything on the screen. I just left it on while I was in the room busy surfing Internet or reading. (All TVs were installed without speaker at Single Inn to avoid TV noise).

The location was 5 mins away from subway station. The facility was clean and well maintained. The shared toilets and shower was clean as well. The room was something between hostel and hotel, it was really small (4 m^2) with bed and TV, but was exactly what was advertised. For the price it was the best option. Breakfast was in the price. The area is separated for men only and woman only parts. There was open 24/7 dining area for making calls or work and not to disturb other guests.

There was humming noise from AC in the hallway, but in the room was earplugs so it was manageable.

Breakfast was fine, due to allergies i don’t expect to eat much, what I could eat was great! The refreshments and snacks available in the upstairs lounge were a good late night treat. The location is absolutely incredible! I had no idea I would enjoy Banqiao so much! Tons of nearby parks and good places to eat, I particularly enjoyed the public library about 15 minutes walk southwest. There were ample shops, cafes, and even gyms in the area as well. The night market and temples nearby were a great way to explore local culture and enjoy some tasty snacks.

No complaints really.

The fact that there is a hot spring bath and public bath is super cool! I like that there is a lounge area. There is free breakfast. They give snacks which is usually instant noodles or red bean soup. There is also black tea and coffee in the morning. The beds are super comfy. The only thing is it can be a little noisy because I have heard people snoring. You can have your towel changed (just bring to front desk). There is a lobby with couch, seating, and bathroom. It’s like a 12-15 minute walk to the night market and super close to stores. Great location! Flexible stay- able to extend on day of.

I wish there was a public fridge to store any food ideas or a microwave to warm up food. The plastic chairs in the lounge aren’t really that comfortable. The laundry/dryer is a bit expensive (50 NTD per load). The rooms can be really cold.

Good location, friendly staff, free breakfast and midnight snack (noodles) was awesome. Area for eating food very big and spacious .

Wifi was slow and spotty, fortunately had a lot of data so used that mostly. The rooms have a gap in the ceiling like a cell so it can feel cold, but felt very cosy and warm at night after hot shower. Was quite expensive (60NZD) for one night, but definitely worth it if you stay there for cheaper than that

The location is close to the train station and malls. The staff specially front desk was very kind to lend me his umbrella because it was raining when I checked out. The breakfast is also good specially during Sunday, its a buffet. The spa was also a relaxing facility of the Inn to keep you warm esp. when you are visiting Taipei during a cold season with 14°C outside temp.

The building needs some repainting works, overall okay.
