Very easy to find, just in the vacinity of Ximending.

Heater changes from hot to cold sometimes when its on the hot water side. No toiletries.

The hotel is in the heart of Ximending. Accessible to famous stores like Popmart, Dodonki, ABC Mart, Carrefour, Sugar and Spice, etc, I'll definitely stay here next time. Staff are polite and helpful. I remember my luggage lock was jammed at night, and I had a flight early in the morning. They helped me look for a locksmith. Luckily, after 10 minutes, the locksmith came and fixed my luggage. I was touched by how helpful they are to me. I might have forgotten their names, but I will definitely forever remember them in my heart. Thank you to the hard-working staff of the Rainbow Hotel.

We are a total of 4 pax in this trip and decided to get 2 rooms for our 3N stay and a family room on our last night. -location is very convenient (it is just across watsons, 7/11, family mart, abc mart, basically its surrounded by restos, shopping marts and the like) & very easy to find -i love the free flowing drinks (unli free soda-coke & sprite, unli juice and what i like the most is the unli bottled water-you can grab one from the lobby or the 3rd floor) -staffs assigned at the lobby can communicate well -rooms are quite spacious (most specially room 509) and their family room -it is very clean -bed is comfortable to sleep on -it has an in-room ref, bath tub (all of our 3 rooms have one), hair dryer, water heater

Its location is bustling with plenty of food options and interesting things to try, making it a great spot for exploring. The rooms were incredibly spacious and cleaned every day, which made our stay very comfortable. I must mention the free snacks too – they were absolutely delightful! One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our rooms were close to each other, making our family trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this place for families looking for a fun and convenient stay in Ximending.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the pedestrian area (closed to cars) at 5:00 pm everyday. Lively area, with lots of eateries. It was great to be able to use the 3rd floor common dining area with free coffee and juice and snacks, and view the entertainment below from the windows. Housekeeping staff was excellent, room was kept very clean daily, and toilet paper, tissue, tea, coffee, etc was always well stocked. Thank you!

Would have liked a room with a view. The Family room with two queen beds had a small window but you can only see the building next to it. Also, the shower was problematic because water would shoot out beyond the tub, and water would flow out onto the tile floor. There was always a flood after a shower unless you were very careful to keep the shower head low.

It's right in XiMenTing. Got snacks and drinks complimentary 24 hrs. Room is big as we req to add 1 movable bed. Plenty of food choices and shopping, hands full go upstairs and put down. Staff very patient y

Arrival at hotel at night taxi cannot drive until doorstep bcos road is closed to cars at night. Hotel doorstep always full of pple. Performance stage juz outside hotel. Room is big but facilities a little outdated but clean. 1 lift to go up and down oni.

The Hotel is close to the Ximen metro station Close to Taipei Main Station and other attractions (Chiang Kai Shek memorial, Dihua old street, 228 peace park) It is in the Ximen Pedestrian area with many commercial stores and a lot of opportunities for shopping There are many restaurants in the area and in the evening it is very crowded (can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for) There is a common room with tables, free juice and coffee (bad quality coffee from an automatic machine, but still worth mentioning), and some snacks The room was clean and as described. They changed the towels and provided us with water. Luggage can be stored in the lobby, but it isn't locked in a room and a lot of people can walk in or out the lobby. However the hotel staff said Taiwan is very safe and we should not worry (but if you're paranoid then it's not the best place to store luggage)

For me the area was too crowded The WiFi in the room was very slow

Rainbow Hotel had the perfect location at the center of Ximending. It was an easy commute from Taoyuan Airport using the Express train to the Taipei Main Station and the Bannan/Blue Line. Different choices of breakfast and other food are easily accessible by a short walk. When you go out from the hotel, the queue for the famous fried chicken and the scallion pancakes are just outside the doorstep. You are also at the heart of Ximen shopping, ABC Mart was very nearby. Commuting to other locations via MRT was fast taking Ximen Exit 6. Our room was always clean and tidy with we got back. Front desk very accommodating and quick to provide what we needed. This hotel is highly recommended.

Location! I can’t emphasize this enough! Also, love the fact they have a “dining” area where water, coffee, packed tea are provided. When we want to have a to go meal, we just bring our food here. They supply unlimited bottled water. Staffs are very helpful and nice too and let us checked in early!

The triple room is outdated compared to the deluxe room the rest of the family experienced. We also feel a little itchy in the bed (didn’t dare to look if there’s bed bugs), so we just have to ensure our pajamas are long.
