The place was easy to find, clean, and cozy. There's a lounge area on the 15th floor with a kitchenette and two recliner massage chairs, and a coin laundry (wash and dry) on the 2nd floor. Location is very convenient also, near two branches of 7-11 and the famous Yonghe Soy Milk for breakfast. Ximending night market, Ximen station, Crispy Milk Donuts, XingFuTang are all nearby spots within walking distance. There's also a Starbucks and TGIFridays branch nearby. The staff are all friendly, ready to assist when you need anything. They are able to speak English to be able to communicate well with you. They're always smiling when you see them. They have free juice and tea near the elevator. You can get anytime of the day, but very late at night they close it. Water dispenser also available on site. They provide room slippers which are of great quality, water bottles per guest, and soap and shampoo via a dispenser. Free coffee and tea also available in the room with refill available upon request. The room was great! We booked the deluxe room with 2 big beds. We were allowed to checked in earlier, which we appreciate because we were traveling with children and a senior. Their bidet was great, remote controlled! Hot water available for shower and sink. Water heater is also present in the room with mugs and stirrers for the free coffee and tea. They also provide plastic cups (the reusable ones) for the restroom if you need to rinse while brushing your teeth or to help your toothbrush stand. One towel was provided per person, with a smaller towel for your face/hair. The bathroom looked amazing and was really clean. The shower area was really big. I'm really meticulous with bathrooms when I book our accommodation, and this was one of the best I've seen. Though everyone I encountered at the hotel was exceptionally friendly and hospitable, I want to commend Terry specifically for helping me communicate with Miaoli Green Fantasy Forest.

Nothing! Everything was great. The hallways have quite an echo, so refrain from speaking and conversing outside the room door so as not to disturb other guests :)

Staff are really friendly and helpful, allowed us to store our luggage till 7pm and on top of that, allowed us to use the lounge though we have check out. It comes with welcoming drinks which truly elevate the experience. Room is slightly smaller, but understandable as a city hotel. Room is clean, do not have any funky smell at all. Location is excellent, there is a 7-eleven, cosmed, shopping district nearby. Highly recommend, will come again if I visit Taiwan

All good! Nothing bad

This is our second time staying in Comma Boutique Hotel and it is as good as it can be. The front desk staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they will greet you eveyrtime you enter or exit the hotel. We stayed in a Premier room this time and I must say it is wonderful. The room is very spacious, with a long couch and a comfy bed. The bathroom is big, with the basin separated from the shower cubicle and bath tub.

A couple of.things though, if I can share. 1) It is novel to separate the basin from the shower area but this makes the area around the basin smaller and we did not have enough space to place all our facial and makeup items. 2) The water bidget made the bathroom seat smaller and less comfortable.

Great location, near Ximending shopping area. The room was nice, large bathroom. It was convenient to have washer and dryer available in the bldg. for use for a small fee. Complimentary tea was provided in the lobby. Filter water was also provided to fill our own containers.

A queen-sized comforter was used for a king-sized bed. We had to pay for a small fee to get a second blanket. The drain outside of the shower had a strong odor. We used the floor towel to cover the drain to help reduce the bad smell. The furniture in the living room had some stains.

We spent only one night at the hotel and left very early the next morning, so unfortunately we couldn’t try out the fabulous breakfast. But the staff was so nice that they prepared a big pack of take away breakfast for our family so that we can have something to eat on the train. They were absolutely lovely and helpful with us. We also could leave our luggage there before the checking time. After checking in, we got a detailed presentation about the eating possibilities too.

Location was very convenient and the hotel seems fairly new as the place was very clean and modern. There was always a front desk staff no matter what time of the day, hence felt very safe staying at the hotel. Stayed for a total of 10D9N and enjoyed the convenience of the hotel to different bus stops with multiple public bus service that goes to taipei main train station. Great that the hotel had lifts that service every floor too!

Bed length was shorter than regular beds. At 1.62m, my feet could hang off the bed. However, for the price paid per night, it is a very good deal.

Really glad i chose this hotel, I would use it again. It's one street away from the pedestrian neighbourhood of Ximen, so on a road with cars but the windows are well soundproofed. Especially if you use the sort of lock if you have sliding windows. I was on the 13th floor, room 1302 with a balcony and honestly could not hear any street noise. The bed was firm but with bounce, western style, very comfortable to me. The beds come with cotton bed sheets and quilt with cotton quilt cover. Note that in May they still had the heavy quilts, so too hot unless you want to put the air con on, which sounds a bit silly, so I just removed the quilt and slept with the quilt cover only. On the 13th floor there are only 3 bedrooms and I heard a little bit of noise, really not much, mainly the water pipes and the bedroom door because they are heavy soundproof doors but don't have the mechanism to slow-close so the first time when you don't know it slams heavily. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure and stable water temperature. Minor negative point is that the shower head only has one position, not ideal when you don't want to was your hair. You can adjust the angle but still not the same as being able to lower it. Free bottled water and tea/coffe everyday unless you put the do not disturb sign. Silent mini fridge! Larger than my own bedroom :) Easy to find! When choosing this hotel, I read reviews of other hotels that were difficult to find because tucked away in dodgy streets or within shopping centres. This one is on a main street, with access directly on street level, with clear signage. Reception was staffed every time I came in and out.

The only negative point for me as a fussy sleeper is the light. Mainly the curtain is not a proper black-out curtain - it's quite thick but it still let the sunlight in, and in May that means from 6ish. Other sources of light come from within the room and are probably ok for normal sleepers: the aircon display is very bright (too high to be masked) ; the TV blue light is also very bright (masked with a jacket) and the weirdest of all: the light bulbs by the bed keep glowing long after being switched off (I unscrewed them). Still, considering the other positive points, I would definitely use it again, as despite the early morning light, I've had the best sleep in weeks of traveling!

The rooms were more spacious than expected for this price point so close to the centre. Everything in the rooms was clean and facilities worked as expected. The staff were polite and helpful. There were extra hotels facilities, such as the lounge, that we didn't make use of. It's very close to ximending. Originally we booked for 2 nights and we're happy to extend our stay to an additional 2 nights in another room.

Some of the hotel staff's English level was quite limited, though some others were quite fluent and there were usually more than 1 staff available. The door in our first room was extremely stiff after opening around 45 degrees, but that wasn't an issue on the second room.

Location is superb. It’s still part of ximen but the quieter area. The location is in the main street but didn’t hear the road etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good english. We only stayed one night but if given a chance would like to stay here again.

The only thing was lacking was they don’t provide soaps etc. They explained it on why they don’t but I was in Taipei on October and the other hotels supplied them. Would be nice if they can provide it even just in the lobby to take if we need them.
