The hostel is very convenient placed next to Ximending walking district, and within 20-30 walking distance to landmarks such as the National Taiwan Museum, Chiang Kai Shek memorial hall and other attractions. The facilities are basic, but it is situated right across the road from 2 convenience stores and other affordable eateries so you can always buy something to heat up in the microwave. They have Japanese style heated toilet seat with bidet in the shared bathroom; the hot water does take a couple of minutes to heat up, but the water pressure is really good so you are always guaranteed a decent shower after sweating in the heat or a proper hot shower in colder months. For the price you pay, the bathroom is good enough, as in for the most part it is clean and tidy but not 5 star hotel standard. I stayed in both the capsule and the private en-suite rooms. In the capsule rooms, you are able to store a big suitcase in the storage room by reception, and the locked individual storage inside the room is big enough for backpack and smaller bag. The capsule bed themselves are standard single bed size, though if you are taller than 6ft then you might have your feet sticking out. The private room was pretty spacious, I saw some reviews mention the windows not clean enough to appreciate the view, I would say that the rooms aren't really designed for that, it is more suited for those who has a busy schedule and just need a private room to sleep, since the double bed in my room was pretty comfortable with good quality hard mattress. There is an outdoor balcony by reception, where you can take in the views over Taipei with the mountains in the distance. The common area is generally very well kept, there is always drinking water and complementary soft drinks in the fridge throughout the day. The receptionists were really friendly, overall I would definitely stay again and recommend to other travellers.

The floor inside the private room could be cleaned better as there were visible juice stains that were not cleaned up. Noise is an issue if you are a light sleeper, though they do provide earplugs at reception if needed. Most of the time it's due to the way the lockers are designed, the locker doors seem to slam very easily without you pushing it so this was mostly the source of noise in the mornings when other travellers are getting ready for the day. There are no receptionists between 10pm and 8am, so I would just make sure that you have everything you need and plan ahead before reception closes for the night.

It is conveniently located near Ximending, a lively shopping and entertainment district, and the English-speaking staff at the front desk made communication easy. The capsule bed was comfortable, with a fresh pillow and quilt provided. Each guest had a private locker with space for luggage and shoes, plus separate slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. Shared bathrooms were clean and stocked with essentials like toilet paper and a hairdryer, and air purifiers were placed in the dormitories for cleaner air. The upper floors were accessible by elevator.

The sound insulation was poor, making every movement in the dormitory audible. The rooms had a musty smell, the water pressure in the bathroom was low with a delay in hot water, and the bedside charging socket had a slow charging speed.

The hotel is located in ximending and very accessible. The following ammenities considering low budget are ok: -shared refrigerator -shared bedroom -shared cr/bathroom/toilet(they have bidet) -veranda is also good -free tea and drinks -free earplugs -wifi and airconditioning

The showerhead mount is faulty. The bathroom needs a big bathroom storage container/cabinet(wall mounted or not) since the bathroom towel holder is not adequate(I needed to gather my change of clothes,toiletries, room card, towel everytime I take a shower). If possible, you can also add absorbent rug/mats so that after showering, the floor won't be wet.

Great location not far from the Ximen& Beimen MRT, as well as the Taipai main station. The Ximending market is also very close, with a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops close by. Suprisingling quiet even though located in such a busy area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, I think I received good value compared to what I paid.

The room was quite small, with the bathroom even smaller located with a view to the city, so one had to make an effort when taking a shower to avoid the bathroom being flooded. Just a small cabinet to keep your things and no safety deposit box. The hotel was also difficult to find as the reception is on the 12th floor, the same building/elevator as Muzik Hotel.

Location is so convenient. In the centre of Ximending. And not far from train station. Staff also very generous and helpful through Line and can contact to the staff also before and after staying. Highly recommend this place for a solo traveler who wanna save their budget in a good location but also comfy stay.

Cleanliness could be improve a bit more but for this price is already ok but would be superb if can enhance a bit more especially in the toilet.

Great hostel! It’s small so it’s really quiet. The beds are very comfortable and very private with the curtain and since only your feet are facing the room. You have a fridge with some free drinks available and where you can store your own stuff. The area is perfect as well, right in the center and close to public transport :) you can even chill outside on a little balcony with a nice view!

nice with the cube beds, if you’re taller than 172cm your feet will stick out, mind you. nice private bathroom toilettes. lovely balcony, nice with free breakfast. the breakfast is just bread and different beverages, but a life hack is buying your own condiments and ingredients - it is very versatile. location is perfect, the hostels name is weird - what does it mean ?

It’s hard to explain how, but every single trash bin in the hostel was so annoying to use. they should buy some new ones that are more comfortably designed.

Well located in the Ximending area. Room and common area were reasonably clean. Kind and helpful staff. Relatively cheap price compared to other hostels in Taipei. Comfy bed with outlets, lights and curtains. Offering free breakfast with bread, jam and coffee(but very basic). Facilities were a bit old but working well.

The room was pretty small and had 12 pax so things were quite jammed. The common area was also pretty small and didn’t have enough utensils in the kitchen.

Very good place to stay with all the comfort you need. Helpful employees. Break fast is simple, but useful: toasts and one jam spread, several warm and cold beverages. Great central location with shops and access to public transportations. Very good beds, silence is kept inside the room, free ear plugs offered at the reception good large locker for your bag. It's nice to have the balcony on top floor with the view on the district.

Paper towel available for a couple of dollars, would be great to have real ones for rent or included for the price.

Central location, responsive staff. Very colourful shared space. If you need a fridge, there's one available here. Clean enough, though capsule was small - I suppose that's normal in this part of Taipei.

There are only two bathrooms. I guess that's normal for Taipei hostels in the area, and the bathrooms were also fairly spacious. But this means during peak hours you'd have to wait to use the bathroom if one was in use - note that the sink and toilet is in the bathroom so if you just want to brush your teeth or poop you still have to wait.
