Staff were lovely. Our VIP room was spacious and large fridge wonderful. Both VIP rooms have similar furniture but the one with a bath is a much larger room w walk-in robe, larger bathroom, much much larger bedroom because has the lounge setting is in same room (therefore studio) but doesn’t have lovely big windows facing street level like our smaller but separate lounge room VIP rooms have had. The studio one also had an extra sink by the large fridge and extra hand towels. Comfortable stay with lovely bidet seat on toilet. Walk out of hotel and there are so many restaurants, stalls, cafes, 7-Elevens, Starbucks , Walking Street starts at the corner which turns into a lively night market. Metro is a 5-6 min walk to Exit 6 with much photographed coloured pedestrian crossing in front and famous Red brick building tucked in one corner. On the walk you will probably pass the famous black pearl bubble drink which more often than not has long queues of locals - definitely try. We also tried the stinky tofu - to us smelt like pooh and I thought it tasted like pooh would. Couldn’t drink enough Coke Zero to wash the stink away. Hubby wasn’t quite as affected but agreed an acquired taste. TGIF is across the corner from the hotel, up a flight of stairs. Mala Hotpots galore - one above the Dog Japanese Restaurant (smaller than a lot) is worth a visit with price which includes their alcohol and help yourself to the buffet to top up your hotpot as much and as often as you like. Good value if you want a lot. Laundrette about 5-6 min walk - its coins only 500’s & 100’s and only liquid detergent not washing powder but you can buy one use Detergents and coin change via their vending machine on site. On same street, same side are a Hello Kitty themed 7-Eleven w small aircon cafe sitting area and a coffee shop w indoor seating also airconditioned but seems to only open in the afternoons but does have alternative milk ie oat milk.

Bed was hard but some may like that. Lift was too dark - hard to see buttons to press for level/floor you want. Exit stairs clogged w cleaning or Hotel supplies - not great in an emergency.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent Location, nice room, cleaned daily.

The shower had an odd configuration - controls are in the middle of the narrow section and hard not to knock yourself. Fortunately we aren't large people, if we were it would be frustrating. Nowhere to hang towels. The breakfast was good but all the food was cold because the staff leave the bain-maries open all the time... What a shame, please speak to your staff, it's such a pity to have cold eggs, cold vegetables, cold noodles, cold fish, etc..

The location was just a few blocks from the center on Ximen and the MRT station. It was crowded at night with lots of action which was fun. The staff were mostly friendly and helped offer sight seeing ideas and arrange a driver. Although our first night we called to ask for a ln extra blanket and were told we had to pay $100 for a blanket and $50 for an extra pillow, cash only! I explained that there were two of us and the provided blanket wasn’t enough bc we were cold. She still insisted that we needed to pay for another blanket. The bed was very hard, as were the pillows. The facilities are simple and definitely not the “luxury” they advertise. Very small rooms with barely enough space to walk around the bed. And something to note is that the bathroom light over the toilet is a “safety” light, so you cannot turn it off. I called and asked as we wanted full darkness at bedtime, but they said it does not go off. Breakfast on the second floor was good with healthy selections: chicken and fish, mixed vegetables, fresh salad, rice, congee, soup, juice, coffee/tea, fruit, and sliced bread.

Had had to pay cash for an extra blanket. Very small room. Very hard bed and pillows.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Hotel is located near a lot of heritage sites. Room was clean and breakfast was included in our room package. We had a wonderful time staying in this hotel.

We had to book another room on our last day to pass the time before going to the airport. We got the room on the second floor reserved for PWD's. Toilet needs improvement as water tends to overflow outside the shower area. Towels were not fresh. That said, these are minor details that did not take away from our awesome experience staying in the hotel. Will definitely book again.

Housekeeping was very diligent and thorough! The provided toiletries were of nice quality. :) Bed is big and comfortable, room temperature is comfortable and the closet has sufficient hangers. The room is equipped with a humidifier, kettle, mini fridge, and bottles of water are replenished daily.

Only wish there were more towel hooks or racks in the bathroom! The washer is a washer-dryer all-in-one so drying takes a long time and you might encounter the machine being used by someone else. The nearest laundromat is a not-so-short walk away so those who are looking to do laundry frequently may find this frustrating!

Amazing location, very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, classic Asian (soup, noodles…) with few western options (toast, eggs). I totally enjoyed Japanese toilette with built-in bidet.

The room might be arranged a bit better, there was almost no storage space, not possible to put luggage under bed or so. The most bizarr thing in my opinion: no door between room and bathroom; make sure that you don’t mind hearing etc. your roommate doing their stuff on the toilet (after years in relationship we didn’t mind, but I wouldn’t be that relaxed some years ago 😀😀😀)

Helpful and attentive staff as soon you enter the reception area and very convenient location in Ximending, close to lots dining options and shopping. Room was very clean and tidy with great amenities such as tea, coffee, water, as well as soap and hygiene kits in the bathroom. Was able to use an empty room for 2 hours later in the day (at a small cost) to freshen up before our late night flight which was perfect! Overall fantastic experience and would stay here again!

Bed was a bit hard but you get used to it after a night or two.

The breakfast was good and generous, if a little repetitive, but I did stay seven days so that’s to be expected. The bed was very comfortable - firm, the pillows varied. The location was simply excellent for many aspects of the city, transport, evening markets. Even early morning runs along the river were easily accessible.

Better reading light, but that’s a universal problem.

The convenience! it’s right by ximending and I could pop by Popmart anytime I want to 😆 also a short walk to the metro.

The smell of 螺蛳粉 coming from the cafe next door. It’s overwhelming. Staff aren’t exactly friendly either (the look on their faces are always solemn) 😅 Also, pray hard there’s no neighbour blasting music next to your room… the walls aren’t very thick.

The accommodation in Taipei was centrally located with a convenient bus connection nearby. The highlight of the hotel is its rooms and service. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, providing umbrellas and lunch boxes upon request. The rooms were incredibly modern and new. Despite the hotel being situated on a busy and noisy street, the rooms were completely silent.

The breakfast changes daily, meaning that items you enjoyed are sometimes replaced the following day. That was a litte disappointing. However, that's a matter of preference, I suppose.
