Concept of the hotel is fun! The twin room arrangement is interesting. Bathroom is spacious too. They have massage chairs for neck and back near the lobby which is a plus. Our room had tiny white flying insects so one of us got a few small bites but that is ok. Our rooms were 1 floor below the reception. There isn’t any passenger lifts access but their staff managed our luggage during check in and check out. The few steps are ok for getting in and out. Otherwise they have rooms at the same level of the reception too.

The hotel concierge is not at ground floor. So need to find the building lift to go up which can be confusing when first trying to find the hotel. Perhaps more detailed instructions can be given, or maybe I missed it.

No breakfast included but this is not a big problem. You can get a piping hot Ay Chung Rice Noodles 阿宗麵線 which is conveniently located right below the hotel and a short distance walk to Yong He Soy Milk. There are other stalls that open for breakfast too. You can also get your coffee boost because Starbucks is just nearby too. The interior is not entirely new, some cabinets and wall paints were chipped off but still acceptable. The room is spacious enough to open 2x 28" luggage and still have some space for walking. Very conveniently located at Ximen station and inside the shopping district (but dont worry, it wont get noisy at night).

Interior walls, cabinets could have been maintained better. The floor underneath the basin area could have kept cleaner, saw some ball of dusts.

First of all, they surprised us with a room upgrade when we checked in so that was fantastic. Our room was great -- spacious with plenty of room for luggage and stuff. We also loved that the bathroom was big and it was separated from the sleeping area with its own frosted glass door. The bathroom sink counter was also big if you have a lot of skincare/haircare/cosmetics to set out. The location was wonderful -- the hotel is one floor in a tall building and when you take the elevator back down to Ximen you emerge right in the middle of Ximen with immediate stuff to do around you. If you like a hotel right in the middle of a bustling area -- Airline is perfect for that. Some reviews complained about a dance studio and church being in the same building and producing too much noise -- that was never a problem for us because we always got back to the hotel after those floors closed so there wasn't any noise.

Even though the shower has its own door -- sometimes water would leak out of the door onto the rest of the bathroom floor during a shower which was slightly inconvenient. The bathroom sink is also strange -- it's a big cool seashell sink but it's placed oddly where using the sink in any capacity means you'll probably spill water onto the counter a little bit. We didn't care about this much -- but from our room there was no "view" of anything. There's a window in the bathroom but it just looks out to a building immediately nextdoor. So if you care about having a view of Ximen from the room -- this might not be the hotel for you.

The reception is nice and good in English. The ambience is cool! Very conceptual. The room itself is ok for 2 people not too small. The air conditioner works well and the water pressure is great. The little thing I so much appreciated is the partition between the shower room and the toilet is 100% tight - no water leak after the shower. So for the wet-floor ewwing person like me - this is something I truly appreciated. The location is top notch - right at the Ximenting. The hotel is located on the 8th floor - the ground floor might look a bit dodgy :) but once you reach to the hotel - it’s day/night difference. So yeah - fab 2 night stay and will come back again for sure.

The ground floor might look unattractive for the first timers.

Spacious room. Hot shower water is almost instand. Pressure is good. Bed liner is very clean. Bed is super comfortable. 3 lifts serving the bldg. Fast n efficient.

There is a dance studio above us. Every afternoon the music is loud for a few hours. Has been told by the staff during checking in. Too bad I thk they cant do much with it. Overall, it is good budget hotel for travellers. Will come again next visit for sure.

There's a real charm about this place. I absolutely love it. Great views, unbeatable location, big clean rooms and the quirky airplane theme works in a surprising way. My only drawback is no lamps which is usually a deal breaker for me. However I absolutely adored this place, probably the best place i have stayed at in Taiwan at this price range. That includes ostensibly nicer places outside of Taipei with better value. I'm super keen to stay here again next time. Worth the price.

The lack of lamps makes it hard to set a good mood when it goes dark but the directional down lights are okay and warm toned at least.

Its convenient location was its key plus point. Other than being just a minute walk from the Ximen MRT station Exit 6, its proximity to the Ximen walking street and shops gave us a lot of flexibility to shop whenever we had a bit of time. And it's just a few shop space away from the very popular Xing Fu Tang bubble tea so we could buy bubble tea whenever there was no queue. 😄 For a very small hotel (only 2 floors), it was relatively quiet. And there was no smoky smell etc along the corridors or room.

The hotel occupied the 7th and 8th floor of the building. The lift only served the 8th floor, so we had to use an internal staircase to get to our room on the 7th floor whenever we went back or left our room.

The hotel was in the middle of Ximen’s shopping district, and around 5 minutes walk to the train station. It was a theme hotel and it was very cute, from the front desk to the rooms.

It was a bit pricier than other hotels. Also, there was no elevator going down to the 7th floor from the 8th floor reception area. So it was difficult to bring our luggages up and down the flight of stairs, specially after shopping a lot!

facilities were quite ok, room is spacious for 2 pax. location is fantastic! near the metro station, near the eateries n restaurants n shopping! so convenient!

pillows were low, bedsheets were not changed when we checked in, so we requested to change. subsequent days were fine. there’s no soundproof from the storey above, you can hear music n singing till 10pm daily.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of Ximending and close to Metro station. The room is roomy enough for two luggage to be opened.

There is a dance studio above and you can hear the music. It's okay if you are out in the day and back only at night. There are power sockets only near one bed and not the other in the twin single beds room.
