Loved the location and everything about the room. Thought full features like USB plugs for phones next to the beds, hooks in the bathroom. Loved that the washroom & bathroom was separate especially when sharing the room with others. The staff was awesome. The bottle of air freshener where you hung clothes was great and thoughtful. Used it all the time. Loved that it also had laundry facilities using your credit card instead of having to fumble for coins.

The little corner with the kettle was hidden behind the bathroom door when the door was open. Thought no kettle or bottled water was provided till someone used the bathroom and the door was closed. Otherwise nothing to not dislike.

Friendly front desk staff that spoke English in addition to Chinese (probably other languages too). No restaurant on site as of February 2024 (none were expected), but there's lots of food within a ten minute walk. A simple breakfast was provided. Super clean inside. Fancy toilets with heated seats in our room! This hotel is a ten second walk from Ximen MRT station exits 2 and 3. Also very close to the Ximen station bus stops, including for the #965 that runs express to Ruifang and Jiufen.

The room lights are controlled via a "smart" system that's overly complicated. It actually required rebooting at one point in our stay. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous with this issue, so it is a very minor complaint.

The hotel is very new! It just opened the month of my stay and it is the best hotel I have stayed at in terms of comfort and convenience. It is in a good area in Ximending. Subway exits are literally around it; 3 and 4 are next to it and 2 is infront of it. There is a small 7/11 next to it as well. Rooms are very huge and clean. The bed has a good amount of firmness and the pillows are so comfy. Two free water bottles a night and my amenities were constantly refreshed. I also love how the laundry is cashless. If you need to wash clothes or use the dryer, you can use your credit card or Easy Card.

Location was the best. Could go to Ximen at night and not worry about a long walk back. Access to the Ximen MRT station was also great and can get you to places like the Botanical Gardens in less than 10 minutes.

We didn't explore too far but the breakfast options around the area seemed a bit lacking. Waking up early many stores aren't open until 7-8 so if you are trying to beat the heat in the summer you may be left with the nearby 7-11.

I love how clean the room was. It could be because it is new, the rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious! The location was also fantastic. Shops of Ximending just downstairs, and the train station too. The staff were really nice, efficient, and thoughtful. We asked for 2 extra pillows at night, but was informed that they had only 1 left. The next day, it seemed like they waited for us to get back to our room at night, to call us and offer us the other pillow as our DND was on. I was impressed that they took the initiative to reach out again. Housekeeping staff was also very nice. I really enjoyed my stay there. Hopefully the property will maintain the standards both with staff and rooms.

The shelf in the shower area was tiny, wasn't big enough to place my own toiletries, but not a big deal.

The hotel is new and modern, a typical japanese business hotel which delivers great service at a reasonable price. The location is great, in the Ximendin district, on the other side of the road from the anime gate and at the exit no. 2 and 3 of the Ximen metro station - use the no. 3 if you have luggages as it is the one with the escalator option - but both exits are at less than one minute from the hotel entrance. It is also at 5 min walk from the bus stop for the number 965 which goes to Juifen and it is not as busy as other buses that go the same route. Being in the Ximendin district it means that there is an incredible choice of shops, eateries and the Ximen Night Street Food market is across the road. From the hotel, by foot, it easy to reach all eastern and central Taipei main areas of interest. Staff is great, very reponsive and attentive: our flight was delayed due a typhoon battering Taiwan and we could only fly one day after it was originally scheduled. The staff quickly responded to my request of keeping the room and even already checked us in in order for us to find everything ready on the arrival day. That was a very smooth and pleasent experience. The room, on the 5th floor, was exactly as depicted in the pictures and the windows faced the main road, it was a little noisy but nothing of concern. We particularly liked the possibility of using the lockers to store our belongings after check-out, very easy card-based system.

A small counter where 1 or 2 staff is there. Room is spacious n clean. In room there's a small box that looked like an alarm clock is an AI, who helps in everything. Jus need to talk to the AI. Including turning off lights n calling front desk.. Ximen night mkt n shopping street jus diagonally opposite hotel. Convenient store downstairs. Ximen mrt is jus at the hotel front. Only unfortunately the hotel lift goes to basement car park, but does not link to the mrt. .

Hotel does not provide disposable toothbrush. Because of some Taiwan law. . Hotel not linked to mrt at basement. So if it rains. Quite a hassle.

The location is really good as it is closed to MRT Ximen Station and Ximen Ding. The room is large and comfortable. The view is really good as my room can view the crossroads. It is also easy to reach Presidential Office Building or even Taipei Station. The Staffs are nice and helpful. The room is clean. The toilet is electronic one, just the same as those in Japan. There is an AI assistant that you can control the lights in the room by speaking to AI assistant.

The toilet with sink in a separate room out of the bathroom. But there is no soap or detergent in the toilet. When you need the soap or detergent, you need to move to the bathroom for washing your hand. Otherwise, you can only clean your hands using fresh water.

Hotel staffs all are very friendly and helpful

Breakfast lousy especially the senior staff named "Aunty Qiu-Hao" appeared courteousy but whispering to my ear was very biase and rude. On 26 April 2025 she provoked me to raise my volume at her which I had fallen into her trap. Stayed in the hotel for 3 days and with 3 days of breakfast coupons, two days of breakfast were assigned to sit "outside" table which away from the main hall and last day (26 April 2025) no breakfast was served. I was angry and left. "Aunty Qiu-Hao" was "smiling" at me when I was leaving. She is saddist. Nobody is going to believe what I said.

Practically just outside tbe MRT station which makes it easy to move around Taipei. Since it trained a couple of days, no issue to walk from the hotel to the MRT. Room is super spacious thanks for he upgrade. Very comfortable bed and with seating area. Vast storage place and bathroom. To top it up, great street/Ximending view.

It just made it abit inconvenient to have the lobby in 2nd floor especially if you need to take taxi/Uber on the ground floor and the street is a non-waiting area. Breakfast is not provided by hotel but in partnership with coffee and fast food chain.
