- clean and quiet - near in ximen night market and other tourist attractions in ximending like red house, rainbow walkway and the famous milk donut - 1 min walk to starbucks and other stores - walking distance from ximen station. Since the place is walking distance in the station, it's easy to travel back and forth - great experience

- in case you will take a bath, you need to take at least 2-3mins for the heater to be warm.

Booked for 3 nights after staying for 5 nights in another nearby hostel. The landlady and her son were friendly and helpful. The hostel has the best location. It is close to laundromat, convenience stores, restaurants, and to the Ximending walking district and MRT station, but slightly set back from the busy road; therefore, it's pretty quiet in the evening. Room was very basic and small, but clean and convenient. Breakfast wasn't available, but that was totally fine as there are so many options in the area.

The minor problem we had is that our room is located on the 5th floor and there was no lift available. However, the landlady's son helped us with our luggage. Super helpful! Also, wifi was weak inside the room on the 5th floor. Outside the room, it was ok.

The location was its main draw for us, it's adjacent Ximending walking street in a quieter area. So even if it's a weekend you don't feel the influx of the crowd. There was also a homey feel to the rooms, amenities were okay, there was free drinking water, coffee and basic toiletries provided. Additionally, there were more than sufficient amount of outlets for everyone to charge their devices on.

The bathroom was small, there was no bidet available. The room furniture were kind of dated, the mattress I slept on is up for replacement since it was lopsided. Luckily we booked a room good for 5, and we were only 4pax, so I just scooted over to the unused part of the bed.

Great location, close to everything but in a quiet alley, so not noisy. The room was perfect for 1 person, with everything you need for a comfortable stay - small fridge, electric kettle, desk, toiletries and even slippers. Shower had nice water pressure and hot water. Staff is quick to respond to any needs. I was able to borrow an umbrella for a rainy day.

Walls are thin, so it depends on how loud your neighbors are. I stayed 1 week and only was bothered by noise 1 night.

We were able to check-in smoothly. There was an elevator in the building. Although the place isn't perfect, I think you are paying for the location. It is nearby establishments and Ximending walking street. The staff who helped with our clogged toilet is very professional. We asked for new towels the day after and she changed it as well as gave us new bathroom tissue. The check-out is smooth as well. We just surrendered the key card and we're ready to go.

The room is quite outdated. They should've atleast maybe renovated. There's a common water dispenser every floor, which is very helpful so I suggest bring a water tumbler-although the hotel provides mugs. Maybe next time they could also provide disposable utensils on the corridor. There's a day where our toilet was clogged but it was resolved by their staff immediately.

The room is clean and has the needed amenities. So happy that the place met my standards in terms of cleanliness which is very important. The staff are also very accommodating. We were satisfied staying here. It is also easy to locate and near Ximen station and Ximending area so it's easy to go back and forth.

They gave us an option if we wanted to stay at the 5th floor for a bigger room (which is nice) but they didn't have elevator and it will be hard for us to go back down with a heavy suitcase so we chose our original room at the 3rd floor. And yes it was hard to go down with a heavy suitcase. Haha. Also the electricity on the port near the bed was getting interrupted so it was a bit struggle charging.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel — it’s excellent value for money. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The location is ideal, close to shops, restaurants, Ximending, and public transport, making it easy to get around. Highly recommend for budget-conscious travelers! I would definitely book this hotel again if I have the chance to visit Taipei in the future.

One very minor thing – I initially assumed the cleaning service was provided automatically each day, but I later realized it needed to be requested. Unfortunately, I missed the hotel’s message on Booking.com and was out all day, so by the time we returned, reception was already closed. Just a friendly tip: if you’d like daily cleaning, it’s best to let the staff know during check-in.

Location: The hotel was in a great location—just a 5-minute walk from the train station and close to several restaurants and shops. It was also easy to access public transport to explore the city. Room: The room was clean, spacious, and well-lit. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet environment, which made it easy to relax. There was also a nice view from the window. What did you like? I really liked how friendly and helpful the staff were. They made check-in easy and gave great local recommendations. I also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and the quiet atmosphere of the hotel.

Hospitality was off-the-charts - when I fell sick, they did far more for me than I would ever expect from any accommodation. I fell sick on the last day of my trip after checking out, and: 1) They let me rest for several hours in their waiting room for guests checking in 2) When I asked if there were any doctors nearby, they brought and accompanied me to the doctor till everything was done 3) They brought me a jacket and a pillow to improve my rest All of these were well beyond what I'd expect, and they did it with not even a hint of dissatisfaction. I'd give a higher score than 10 if I could.

The location was the best as it closes to the central so you can always go back to hotel to drop off shopping bags or rest for a bit if you are travelling with kids or elderly The owner was very nice and friendly also very helpful and considerate, we have requested a baby cot but they couldn’t get one side of it fit properly, they told us not to use it if we don’t feel safe to so they’ve upgraded us to a bigger room so baby can sleep with us on the bigger bed

As it’s located at an old back alley of street, the cleanness was poor but it was expected
