Willingness of bilingual staff to help in all aspects was exemplary, including but not limited to: holding our bags before we checked in and after we checked out; providing us with helpful neighborhood tips; and, constantly asking us if we were ok or if we needed anything else. Quick walk to the Ximen MRT station, with amenities nearby including but not limited to: Ximen Night Market (it's probably the cleanest and the most organized one I've ever seen, which is a double edged sword because I found it to be slightly inauthentic), a plethora of eastern and western dining options (check out the breakfast spot across the street - there's an asian fellow manning the grill and maybe his two daughters(?) running the registers, and they have an English menu, and also check out the noodle shop just a few doors down), a few coin laundry facilities, MULTIPLE convenience stores, etc.

Beds were slightly thin and a bit firm for our preference.

I really like that it is clean and lots of freebies at the counter. There’s drink and food, you don’t need to worry about lack of food. The drinks that they provided is not even just water but some canned drinks as well. Really excellent amenities. Also, I really need to mention this is they provide some services of popular food delivery as well as souvenirs, I realise not many tourist use the food delivery or food souvenirs. This save a lot of time for us to go hunt for the popular food souvenirs.

I was disturbed a lot at night by resident staying on top of me. Especially in the middle of the night, multiple times they were stomping their foot and even fell down, I do felt that the floor was shaking when the person fell. Another concern was that there was crack on the ceiling. I hope their management can look into it. I also didn’t like the window was facing some resident staying infront of me, which was quite awkward to open the window and seeing them face to face so I have to close the curtain everytime when I return.

Overall very good , from the guys of the front desk the AM shift and Night shift all accommodating, I forgot the names but all are approachable. The place , the room, the bidet at the washroom , the 24/7 refreshments, enough for a good comfortable stay in Taipei .Walking distance to Ximen and food choices and store .Keep it up guys .Maybe just more colder AC ( but for my husband AC is good enough, I am just a cold person 😁) A+ for a non smoking area

Actually none , if u need a affordable good location this is really a good choice.. I know the lift is under renovation.. Entrance pathway something conducive maybe to the eyes , and maybe a storage for the used linen to be hide if full 😁 but still very good place .

- The staff is super nice and helpful - The vibes in the hotel are really nice. It doesn't feel like you're checking in to some random building but rather a place with a lot of charm. The lobby of the hotel is not big but feels really cozy - You get free snacks, ramen and drinks during your entire stay. I had actually never seen this before. - Comfy room and bed - Great shower pressure - A/C in room - Location is super centric. It was actually a bit tricky to find the place. You're right in the middle of Ximending, the most touristic district in Taipei I believe. I would stay here again.

- The walls are quite thin. We had very loud neighbors (thankfully one night only) and we could not sleep. - The lobby (wooden) floor can also be quite loud when people pass (especially if kids are running around). I'm a light sleeper so these things bother me more.

Location was the main reason why I chose Cho Hotel. It's very convenient to get anywhere. Plus, once you leave the hotel, there are different convenient stores, 24H Carrefour market, Starbucks on the corner, 24H noodle house and the list goes on and on. It also helped that there are snacks, cup noodles, bottled water, hot chocolate, coffee and tea to your heart's desire! It's such a cute boutique hotel. Highly recommended!

It can ve quite confusing to find it as the entrance is a bit hidden from the street. Lobby is on the 2F.

I love the location. It was close to everything we wanted to go, the hotel was safe and secure, the amenities included were beyond what I expected. An entire fridge full of local drinks and sodas plus a ramen bar was incredible. There were tons of small other benefits of booking through Cho Hotel and we couldn't have made it to the airport on time for our early flight if it wasn't for the airport shuttle system. Loved them

If you want to be in the middle of things, this is definitely the place to stay. Even throughout the typhoon days, convenience stores and restaurants nearby were open, which was a pleasant surprise. This location is great for getting around the city easily, nominally it is next to the Ximen metro station, but you can also reach other stations/lines with a brief walk. The hotel room was not very big, but comfortable. Could probably use some storage space, as it only had a set of hangers. The staff was very helpful.

Location was perfect within short walking distance of metro station and in the middle of the vibrant and lively neighborhood of Ximending. The hotel in itself was nothing special but served its purpose. Staff was nice and helpful. Important note: There's no room or automatic cleaning service so we had to do it ourselves. Wasn't an issue, especially for a few days stay and we knew in advance.

Nothing, the property fitted our expectations and we were happy with our stay.

Excellent location as it was walking distance to the Train and the eating and shopping districts. Hotel had very responsive staff who would answer my questions promptly even before our arrival. The rooms were not stuffy (i was worried because there were no windows) and it even had an air purifier. Rooms were also the right size for my family of 3. Their free drinks and snack bar were an excellent offering too! Highly recommend Cho hotel 3

Amazing Hotel. Room was spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet and everything working well. The bathroom was charming and also spacious. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, very attentive to details. My room was nicely prepared for me before my arrival and even the temperature was perfect. Location is very convenient, close to metro station, stores, restaurants etc. Drinks and snacks are provided for free at the reception area which is a plus. Couldn't be happier and don't need to think where to stay when visiting Taipei again. Thank you so much!
