Staff was lovely, i forgot to get her name but the female and male staff who helped to change my room, they were lovely and everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks guys. The location is about 7-8 minutes walk from Ximending MRT, it is convenient, just next to the Ximending walking street as well. Room was clean and i enjoyed the free snacks, noodles and drinks there. Thank you team for a very enjoyable stay.

Great location right in the middle of busy Ximen, Taipei – perfect for exploring the area. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the bathroom in great condition. Everything was tidy and well-maintained. As a nice bonus, you get free face masks and either a beer or a tote bag if you register as a member. The real highlight: unlimited free snacks and instant ramen, available 24/7! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is booking a room without a window – the air in those rooms feels damp and sticky, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great!

This hotel was great, location wise, it is so close to everything yet not right in the busy area of Ximending so noise was minimal. Loads of great breakfast spots around which were full of locals so we knew it would be good. Ximen station is very close by, great for metro transport. There's also lots of convenience stores in the area. We arrived early but could leave our luggage, reception staff were super helpful and accommodating. We got lots of goodies, including postcards and a little dragon boat pin. Every group of guests is given a blank jigsaw to draw on to add to the wall in the lobby which was such an adorable touch(hope you can spot ours!). The social areas of the hotel are almost similar to that of a hostel in the best way, the snack bar and seating areas were so comfy and had lots of character. We also utilised the complimentary laundry room and amenities, which came in handy. We were on a higher floor which was great and the room had a very convenient mini fridge as it was hot when we were visiting. Bed was comfortable with a big tv too. I would definitely recommend people to stay here if you want to get the most out of Taipei.

We did feel the room was slightly small considering how big the bathroom was and just wish the toilet included a bidet. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The location is great! It's close to public transportations as well as surrounded by shops and restaurants. The decor in the entire hotel is unique and nice. Staff is very professional and friendly. There is free laundry on the first floor. The entire second floor is like a huge living room with chairs and free tea/coffee/snacks/ramen noodles. The room is very very quiet. I've stayed at this hotel many times this year and it's becoming my 2nd home!

Room size is quite small. The room with a futon bed feels larger than other rooms with a double bed.

This is our second time in this amazing Cho Hotel in Wanhua, this time with our 2 teenagers. We were allocated in room 311. Though its a tad small, the 4 of us still felt comfortable enough. Our room had Japanese style toilet seat with a separate hand bidet. The water pressure in the shower was excellent with hot and cold. The soap and shampoo dispenser smells so good lemon grass scent. The 2 queen beds and pillows were comfortable. It has a big smart tv, kettle, cups, tea bags and a small fridge. The room has big window for extra light during the day. I rated the rooms 4 stars as some might find it on a very smaller side. For all other amenities, you can go to the reception to collect. They have a second floor lounge room with cup noodles, coffee, snacks, water and some sodas available 24 hours a day. They also have a laundry room to use the washing machines, dryers and steaming iron for free anytime. It is conveniently located too with so many restaurants and shops around. Ximen MRT is about 7 minutes walk. We also availed the hotel airport transfers with a fair fees. Overall 5 stars basis our experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope this is not the last time we stay in this lovely hotel. We love Taipei and we wish to keep coming back for more food trip and shopping. The Cho has thought of everything. We headed straight there after a 14 hour flight and they could not have taken better care of us. They gave us the sweetest welcome package that included post cards that they paid postage for and sent for us! The free snack, ramen, and beverage station was amazing. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location truly was amazing having never been to Taipei and only having a few days. It was near lots of vibrant activity and culture but still maintained a peaceful ambience in the hotel. The value was phenomenal too. Look no more. Just book The Cho Hotel!

Location is near ximending but in a quieter side so its a major plus. The staff are friendly. Plus plus plus points on the free snacks in the second floor!! No need to buy soft drinks and water too! :)

The room we had was hot even whith the aircon on, maybe because we are on the top area. So when we asked for an electric fan coz we said its hot. They immediately transferred us to a new room (next building). Which we truly appreciat.

The staff at Cho Hotel were incredibly friendly, I absolutely loved the birthday card that I received from them! The rooms are very cute and clean and we loved the common room area with free snacks. Cho Hotel is also in a fantastic location - it is close to Ximen Station and various bus stops which made exploring Taipei much easier!

I'm glad that we both had eye masks because the red light in the room (which I've also seen at other hotels) could be annoying. Other than that I had no other issues!

The location was perfect. Very close to the Red House and Ximen metro station. I loved the layout of the hotel. It was designed and decorated with unique antique items but with a very modern feel. The staff were wonderful. There was no cafe on property, but the 2nd floor had unlimited snacks. The place felt very much like a hostel for backpackers, but with modern amenities.

The room was very small for 3 people. The bathroom didn't have a lot of privacy. It wasn't necessarily bad. We just weren't prepared for it. We would stay there again. Now that we know what to expect.

The staff were excellent. The location is walkable to historic parts of Taipei. Lots of choices to eat. Convenience stores every other block to buy essentials. The hotel provides really good snacks, ramen, soda, juice and water— great if you are having a rest day or traveling with children.

Getting use to NOT dumping the used toilet paper in the toilet. There is a bit of wait time to dry clothes in dryer— plan ahead to wash/dry during off times ( machines opened 24 hours).
