I like that it is just within the city center wherein major malls are very accessible by foot, Pratunam Market and Platinum. Just a little walk also for train and is very accessible for any other kinds of transportation and also 7/11 and restaurants. I like that the hotel cleaned the room daily and replaces the towels for new. Plus daily complimentary water.

Before arriving in the hotel we keep contacting the hotel staff informing us that we are alreay in Bangkok and that we need final confirmation if the room is still reserved for us since there is no confirmation or deductions made in our CC. Yet nobody replied nor noticed our messages.

Room - clean, private bathroom is ok, kind of small though for the 4 of us with our own luggage Location - excellent! close to Ximen train station, Ximending night market and affordable food! Bed - firm, we each had our curtains so we still had privacy.

No elevator, it was very difficult for us to carry luggage to and from the 3rd floor

They have late check in option, which was great since we arrived around 3am. Its location is close to 711 and other restaurants. It's also a walking distance to the train station which makes it very convenient to travel around taipe.

It doesn't have an elevator. We understand as it's a backpacker hotel but my brother got an injury during our trip so it makes it very inconvenient to go up and down the stairs. Everything else is great!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Backpackers Hostel in Ximending, Taipei. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of the vibrant Ximending district, making it easy to explore local shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips and ensuring a comfortable stay. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained and the rooms have its own comfort room.

the air conditioning in my room was not very effective, making it a bit stuffy.

We talked about various topics, including the difference between Chinese characters in Taiwan and those in Japan. I had so much fun talking with her. I definitely want to come back to Taipei, and when I do, I want to stay at your hostel again! Thank you so much.

The room I stayed in had its own bathroom and the facilities provided downstairs were pretty nice.

Curtains for the beds could use replacement. There is also no soundproofing so I once woke up in the middle of the night because a group of men in the next room came back and they were talking. It sounded like they were in the same room.

A busy tourist area. Many, many shops and restaurants. Great local food restaurants and vendors!! Several cinemas close. Nice walks to the river, main station, and several big parks. Close to metro.

The facility has multiple floors and no elevator. The common area is the basement and there is no kitchen, only microwave and hot water. Small room, no room for luggage. The bottom beds were on the floor so not even storage under the bed.

The staff were all accommodating, nice and helpful. answered all my queries before arriving, helped us booked taxi service from the airport and going to the airport again. Booked our entire stay in Taipei here at backpackers hostel. .me and my son have our own room with private bathroom. Clean, well lit, AC temperature is just right. The place is really convenient, walking distance to Ximending shopping district and the train station. My son also loved it here. Hostel is complete with appliances at their lounge area. we got to hang out at the lounge every morning before we start our day. Eat bfast/lunch even dinner when we decided to buy food and just stay at the hostel. Will definitely booked backpackers again when I travel back to Taipei! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
