Breakfast is very nice first we booked for 2 business travellers and online we requested for breakfast 2nd day we booked for one more business traveller - we forgot to request of breakfast - while called to Hotel - they replied now its chargeable basis. we dont mind to charge - but its so high. secondly, if we invite business personnel for dinner, it seems the meal is very costly compared to neighbouring area.

parking, reception, room & its services - all is excellent - except charges of meal. whel on business tour we are out for whole day but evening dinner we love to taek food in hotel only but its so costly

Friendly and attentive staff who are always helpful & willing to go the extra mile. Typical of East African hospitality, from front of house, restaurant staff & housekeeping. Clean and comfortable rooms which are modern, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and efficient air conditioning. Delicious breakfast buffet which offers a variety of options, including continental and Swahili dishes. Lastly, convenient location providing easy access to the city center and beach areas.

Limited Gym Facilities as the environment is relatively small and may not accommodate more than 3–4 guests at a time. Occasional slow service particularly during peak times like check-in/check-out processes. In addition, Room service when there a lot of patrons.

While my overall experience at The Crown Hotel was positive, there are a few areas that could be enhanced to elevate guest satisfaction even further. At times, service during check-in hours was slightly delayed, However, that was a minor issue that did not significantly impact the quality of my stay. The hotel still offers great value, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. Hence, I would confidently recommend it to travelers seeking comfort and convenience.

We went for a 5 day business visit including participating for an exhibition. Great location was near the exhibition center and many restaurant's around the hotel. The staff is very good and friendly. very good hospitality overall. Breakfast was good as well. Rooms are clean and house keeping personals are good.

For a double room we felt that the room was quite small. Hardly any room to keep 2 luggage's. this was the only down side.

I really liked specifically the fact that every one without exception, was always smiling. I also liked the colors of the building as well as the room. They were sobre, modern and gave a very nice effect. I also liked the fact that the place was very neat and clean and room service was regular. The room was well equipped with a mini bar, plenty of supplies like shampoo and conditioner and even body cream in real size bottles instead of the small samples you usually get at other hotels. I also liked the fact that the hotel was in a bit of a corner of the road and not on the main road which means it was very quiet. Also, there are various facilities like the supermarket “Maisha” at the “City Mall” nearby which is like 15 minutes walking distance.

They don’t accept USD notes before 2009 which was a bit of an issue when checking out to pay the airport shuttle.

It was excellent — very clean, modern, and well-organized. The facilities were exactly what you’d expect from a good business hotel, and everything ran smoothly. The staff were professional and attentive, which made the stay very comfortable.

Honestly, nothing to complain about. Everything worked perfectly for a short one-night stay. My booking didn’t capture breakfast, which was a bit of a surprise, but the meals we did have were so yummy.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout out to one of the service staff in the restaurant - Anthony. He is friendly and makes you excited to eat. The restaurant manager/supervisor was also warm.

The TV in the bedroom needs to be upgraded. Smart TVs should be the standard in this age. Being unable to watch YouTube or access my Netflix account was the only downside.

The staff were amazing

As the room was a disability room, whilst very suitable for a wheelchair, it was less comfortable than my previous stays. Seating, flooring and the vanity were not as good as a standard room. Booking.com should have a way of adding membership numbers for hotel chains. I did not receive bonus items as I was not recognised as a member on my booking

I absolutely loved my stay at the Crowne Plaza! The location was ideal, and the rooms were wonderful. A huge plus for me was the great shower – plenty of hot water and excellent pressure, which are my top two must-haves! And to top it off, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful.

Room service overpriced but you'd expect that. Booked a queen room. We got a twin room. Didn't query it as was too tiree once got too room. Maybe something to check. Also would have been nice to be informed the pool was closed
