Big hotel with spacious rooms and free hotel amenities, lovely staff and possibility to use room service. There is coffee place in the lobby, bar at 9th floor, hotel is close to ferry port (within 10min walk). Many options in breakfast buffett, tanzanian ones as well as continental ones, so you should be able to choose.

Room had thin walls, we stayed on 3rd floor and there was quite a noise even after 11pm coming from metal staircase located on 2nd floor below our room as well as from somewhere inside the hotel. Depending on the location of the room, you can also hear the mosque, so if you are light sleeper, consider this.

Good (semi luxurious, at least for Tanzania) hotel ideally located for the ferry to Zanzibar, you can walk there in 5 minutes. The rooms are clean and spacious and most importantly (Dar is punishingly hot and humid in the dry season) the AC works well in the rooms and lobby. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a late flight and were able to pay a bit extra for late checkout. Breakfast is "rich", they have things you might otherwise eat for dinner. There is almost nothing to do in Dar, there is a short city walk you can do, to the fish market (beware the papasi) and government quarter, for which the hotel is also well located.

The food being served for breakfast is quite bland and mostly tasteless. We were there for ramadan and had their iftar special for dinner one night, and that was surprisingly good compared to the breakfast! There is a mosque very close to one of the sides of the hotel, so if you get a room there and you are a light sleeper, you will be woken up by the call to prayer. Hotel is a bit pricey for Tanzania. There are not a lot of good food options nearpy.

Mostly everything. Rooms are sparkling clean and huge! You have to request cleaning, and they don’t expect tips for the Cleaning but please leave them something.Good location near the ferry, church, mosque, other hotels. Embassy’s are about a 20 min walk. Ask for a room on an upper floor.

There was a communication gap with some of the workers. In addition to the city tax there is another fee that I didn’t know about. Because I was paying for multiple rooms these fees really added up!

Location is great. Less than 10mins walk from ferry terminal. Staff were very friendly. Room was good size. Bath room was huge. The top floor bar has fantastic view. Especially evening during sunset, thousands of fruit bats flying across the city skyline was amazing and great place to see them Evening entertainment was fun

Some facilities should be checked such as lamp not working, bathroom a bit smells smoky. Food was ok but may be just me not get use to local food. Bar music was very loud not for an evening relaxing chill out drinks but the happy hour offer was good.

Excellent view and set up place with many shopping centers around it

one of the employees would help to take your luggages from restaurant to the reception, but it took us about 5 mins to find them because employee decided to use the stairs while we used the elevator, which created a confusion where to find our luggages located because employee dropped them to reception without acknowledge. That was unsatisfactory for customer service. Moreover, there was $25 needed to be paid during our check-out, but the front-desk clerk refused to use the same card we used to pay the rooms but insisted to pay in cash, so where would be a record that we payed that $25? Such manner is not a good customer service at all.

The location is right at the heart of the Central Business District(CBD) and near the ferry to Zanzibar. The hotel staff are warm and approachable; for instance, we had a challenge paying in dollars, and the receptionist was kind enough to allow us to pay in the local currency. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was varied. The ambience is pleasant and soothing with soft lighting and peaceful music in the background.

The fact that we couldn't stay longer.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. It is good value for money. its location is excellent, so are its staff. They have outstanding breakfast. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed as well a good shower. Room is cleaned every single day if one chooses so.

No bed side lights in case one wants to read. And the sports bar lacks good atmosphere. It could be improved.

The hotel is in the city centre, near to the harbour and ferry terminals (ferryboat to Zanzibar). It’s very clean, good new furniture, very fast lifts, good breakfast and charming staff

One minor problem, from time to time the keycard has to be programed even if you keep it separate with other things, cannot open the door, you’ve to go down to the reception and request for activation

Staff: cooperative staff, changed my room due to malfunctioning air conditioning. Reception and Restaurant staff also very efficient. Location: city centre Cleanliness: excellent rooms and overall property including restaurant and sports bar

No complaints except air conditioning was not functioning first night so room was changed on day #2

Perfect location in CBD Dar es Salaam. Short distance from everything. Great tervice, breakfast and coffeshop. Large room executive type on 8th floor.

Only minus was top floor bar and live music until almost midnight on 9th floor. Just above my room. Not possible to sleep untill after shutdown late Friday evening. Same story probably for the whole weekend
