Very welcoming staff. Very clean hotel and all the equipments are new and clean. The rooms are very spacious. Would never go to any other place than johari when i visit dar es salam

Nothing. Everything is perfect in the hotel. Just a tip if you want to go out or take a taxi just ask some of the gate security guys they will give you tips to avoid getting scammed by locals.

I was genuinely impressed to uncover such an elegant and skillfully managed hotel nestled in that vibrant part of Africa, showcasing both beauty and professionalism.

A larger mini fridge than the one provided in the suite would have truly enhanced our experience. It was quite a challenge to fit even five bottles of water inside, making it feel rather cramped. A bit more space would have made all the difference!

Hotel room is really good. Stay at the 25th floor over looking the jetty. This is an excellent hotel to stay if you can afford it. Staff are nice and they respond to requests in less than 5 minutes. Nuhu was the staff that was in constant communication with me right from the time I made the booking. He was able to help me with a lot on how to go about the town and places to visit. Pick up and drop off at the airport was great. Overall my experience was a great one and I will recommend this hotel to my friends

The TV in the room need to be replaced with a smart TV to enable guests to connect to Netflix or other Social Media networks. I managed to watch Netflix from my device but it was have been better watching it on the big screen

The service and how clean it was💯💯💯

How one receptionist was rude on the phone,instead of explaining she kept shouting and saying no like its a song it was on 28th may morning,.

Our stay in Johari was part of our honeymoon. The rooms are very clean, spacious and full of amenities. The hotel itself is very nice with a great location. Hotel staff were very nice and they even decorated our room with flowers. The spa and gym were quite lovely and the breakfast was incredible; different options every day !

Check in was a bit long but then we realized it was just because they were preparing the room with roses and decorations.

I liked the location, its close to the ferries, bus station, there are taxis and tuk tuks right outside. The food was good, there was a wide variety and it tasted good. The staff in the restaurants were friendly and food came on time.

The suits for the gents at reception looked very worn out, the ladies skirts in the restaurant looked too tight and uncomfortable. I think the hotel can do better in this department as I got the impression that they don't really care for the welfare of its staff.

I know the Hotel, after the COVID we stay there long with my Husband but I want My Sister just to see it herself. As we are in Zanzibar for a meeting for Business.

I like everything it was good but not some Staffs. In the morning your Staffs accusing me not paid and shouted in front everyone, which was very embarrassing, was explaining to him that I paid since UK but he still talking. And peoples was there. It wasn’t professional at all.

I like ROTANA, the bathrooms are clean and well designed, towels are white and clean, food is nice except chefs needs to be more flexible for food on demand for self service. I am a regular customer, mostly recommend to most of my visitors.

My concern is in the room service for morning breakfast, especially for club Rotana category, i had to pay 60,000 -TZS room service fee, for just a glass of juice and soup, which was unnecessary. I believe Rotana can do better , same on price negotiation for corporate customers on special rate. Workers should treat visitors as customers and not as they do them favors. I DIDNT LIKE THIS AT ALL

Check out over 20min is not ok, asked an email of the invoice did not happened. Restaurants are loosing quality and overall offers.

The hotel staff was very friendly especially Baraka - reception, Baraka - waiter, Frank & Edinah at the reception. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant. The hotel rooms were very spacious & beautiful. The hotel view is gorgeous.

There were no sun umbrellas for the pool beds. Steam room was out of service & Sauna was off during the day. The food was taking too long after ordering, one instance I waited for upto 2hrs.
