After a disastrous night across town with no electricity, finding this place (Room 303) was like a palace with cavernous room, vaulted ceilings. comfortable bed with mosquito net (not needed), a huge bathroom with hot water, and AC that needed turned down at night; too much for just a bed sheet. WiFi was fast within the room, double plug sockets on both sides of the bed. The daily, rooftop breakfasts were mainly the same but a nice start to the day. I couldn't have asked for anything more and the nightly rate was almost too good to be true! The historic building is off to side of the central area but within easy walking distance of anywhere in Stonetown. I very highly recommend this place!

Towels were rough on sunburned skin and lighting wasn't the best; very minor details.

Very polite staff who helped me buy my lunch and other Zanzibar dishes I never tried before.The bed was okay and it was clean.

I got the room on the ground floor which I didn't like .I could literally hear footsteps from outside .The shower 🚿 wasn't working and there were "No towels" plus no water bottles in the room.I booked 2 weeks prior,I expected them to be prepared for my arrival...good thing Mr.Hassan was there to assist me in the morning.Very nice man,always smiling 😊.

The staff was amazing and super friendly! They helped with any questions or requests I had and really made it feel like home! The bed was comfortable, there was hot water, a good mosquito net, a fan and AC. The wifi was quite good for Zanzibar.

It would be great to have a water dispenser for guests to reduce plastic waste from all the individual water bottles.

We had the best time at the hotel. Eddie was amazing. So helpful and kind. We were a group of 10. All expectations were met. This is my number one hotel recommended hotel in stone town. It ticks all the boxes.Faatimah welcomed us with the best mango juice. Always answering our calls and ready to assist. Value for money. Honestly 11/10

Excellent location to walk around Stone Town and waterfront, helpful staff, good breakfast, good wifi. Payment by Visa is possible. Staff helped us to get a parking space for our rental car next to the hotel. We had to check out early and we were served breakfast at 6:30 despite official breakfast time starting at 7:30. This hotel is absolutely recommendable!

The location is very good. Close to everything in stone town. The price is very competitive. Stuffs very friendly and helpful. The view from the rooftop is beautiful.

There were some technical problems with water system but they solved the issue. The ceiling in bathroom (room 103) was also leaking(probably caused by the same issue)

The location was great near many important places, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was simple yet very good. Everything works perfectly. I would come back here again.

I was hoping to have a view of the city, but i guess the deisgn doesn't allow.

The room is pretty basic, but it has everything you need. Probably could be a bit cleaner. Breakfast ok the rooftop is simple, but ok.

Eddie, the guy who welcomed me, is a sweetheart! Ready to help as much as he can and very very professional! The hotel is close to everything, you can walk to the main things. The most comfortable bed I found in Zanzibar, also my son didn't want to wake up!
