Great view of the mountain forests, close to the beach, breakfast has good variety, swimming pool is good size.

Rooms are small. Family room is OK, but standard room way too small, no closets or place where you can put your clothes or luggage, tiny. Everything is covered with dust and needs to be cleaned properly. Balconies, outside area, elevators, everything is dirty. We played cards in the reception lounge area, I tried to wipe the table and it was just covered with the layer of dirt.. Also on Dec 31 the closed the swimming pool for one full day without any prior notice. We had plans to stay at the pool that particular day and it was a complete surprise in the morning.

The hotel was really well situated. It was really right at the edge of all the hustle and bustle. I cannot being to express how presently surprised that i was that it was definitely quiet in the room. There is a big beautiful mosque across the street and even with the daily call to prayers, I only heard it very faintly in the room and i was facing the main street. The building in itself was taken care of and having the outdoor pool was definitely a plus. Although i knew what i was getting into, the rooms are rather small but that didn't bother me as I was only there to sleep at night. There a thousands of restaurants, street food, stores, pharmacies, mani, massage, shops, clinics in the surrounding.. It is almost impossible to go hungry, thirsty or walk around stressed. There is a shuttle that can bring you to the beach however I always preferred walking. About 15 minutes to get to the main Aonang beach, A bit under 30 minutes to get to the night market and then about 45 minutes to get to the Landmark night market. I would certainly consider staying here again especially at this reasonable rate.

Breakfast, pool, room and service are very good.

The last night, we decided to have dinner buffet at the hotel which is not ok. The foods are not so many options like breakfast. We found out later that dinner buffet just for the group tours. It's not really worth for the price. We asked for refund of course we can't get it back. They apologized us by giving us a plate of fruits. This story taught us to asked or observed things before we buy. The cleaning staffs took 2 days to get our room. They have so many guests per 1 day so this hotel always full of people.

Very good value for money, the staff was top level, always open to assist when organising the trips to the nearby islands.Amazing view of the mountains from the pool area, and a parking lot that is big enough to accommodate the groups leaving for excursions in the morning.

There was some dirt in the room, especially on the soap holder which was very stained and the hot water maker that was in a bad looking condition. The room is relatively small and is missing a wardrobe, however there is space under the beds, which for a 5 day trip did the job.

Family room ideal for 4. Staff friendly. Breakfast good selection. Pool big and clean. Free shuttle to beach centre good but could do with being more frequent or go when needed. Good location. Room clean. Bed comfortable. Great value for money. Free pool towels.

A bit more flexibility with free shuttle would be a nice improvement.

The staff, the pool and view, the cleaning service done every day, water in the room almost every day (some day they forget to put either water or toilet paper). I liked that I could pay at the property via booking so I wasn’t charged extra for card payment.

The towels could be renowned since they are old, The breakfast could be with a more variety of fruits, Would be so nice to have some cheese and different types of ham/salami.

Great value for money. Rooms are the standard ibis rooms. They are clean and, serviced daily and have large very comfortable beds. The pool is great. the location is at the top end of the main part of Ao Nang. It is close enough to walk down to the beach and far enough away from the noisy bars to be nice and quiet. I was travelling with a friend and interconnecting rooms were provided which was great. Plenty of restaurants etc within an easy walk.

Restaurant was not open at night time but that is understandable as it felt like the hotel was only at about 25% occupancy. There are plenty of options for meals close by. Restaurant open for breakfast and lunch.

Good location. The air conditioning worked perfectly, housekeeping was great and consistent and the shower was nice and warm. Excellent complimentary glass bottled water was restocked daily. They offer a shuttle service to and from the beach which was nice. The pool was lovely with good seating and towels available. The staff were kind and helpful. We also liked the small balcony with a very pretty view.

A shuttle bus to the beach in the morning would have been useful, as the service was only offered in the afternoon. A formal way to leave bags would also be better as leaving them on the ground by the desk did not feel super secure.

The hotel, staff, and room completely met my expectations. My partner and I were looking for a quiet room, away from loud street noise or bars/ restaurants. We got exactly that at the Ibis Styles. We had a room facing the mosque, as others have mentioned you can hear the call to prayer. However, this did not bother us in the slightest, and only lasted a few minutes at a time. If noise is a concern for you, a room facing the mosque is likely more quiet than one facing the pool.

I wish other people did not leave belongings on the hallway (strollers, shoes, personal affects). It's also clearly stated no pets in the pool area, but the entire 2.5 weeks we were there, there was a small dog constantly in this area using the bathroom all over the grass.

Decent location, as its easy to walk to the beach or to restaurants. A wide selection for breakfast. Good pool with some tables nearby where you can work and a massage spot. Seemed to be a popular spot for big tour groups as they have a lot of rooms.

Room was tiny with not much light and not the best air flow / conditioning as when we arrived, we switched off the AC that was set to 23 degrees and after 5 minutes the floor was wet with moisture. Note that there is a mosque right across the street so if you're a light sleeper be prepared for 5 AM wake-up calls. Also the exterior of the hotel is quite worn down.
