The bed sheets and towels weren’t clean

Peace Laguna was on the edge of Ao Nang Bea h area. The resort is large with numerous 2 story cottages and hotel style buildings. The setting on a Lagoon with mountain backdrop is really nice. There were 3 main pools and sun bathing areas so never too far to walk to take advantage of the facilities. Breakfast was a large buffet service catering for all tastes Eastern and Western, plentiful and of very decent quality. Location was just a short walk from the Main Street full of bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were very welcoming , always courteous and helpful. Although the resort is looking a little dated, there is ongoing upkeep and maintenance to keep things looking good. The room was large and well proportioned.

The room keycard and door swipe interface often had issues opening with us needing to walk back to reception on a few occasions to get a new room keycard. I seen other guests have similar issues.

Great location off the main road and a short walk to the beach. There is a street food market practically next door for cheap meals too

We had to move rooms a few times due to maintenance issues before we were given a free upgrade to a private cottage. If staying again I’d just book the private cottage straight up.

Great hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful grounds that were well maintained. Room very spacious and had everything needed, lots of storage space etc. shower is outside which is novel! Given the heat, this was fine only slight problem was the deep step down to the shower (maybe a step could be added to help this for older people or those with mobility issues?). This is also a big bath with shower attachment so not a concern at all for us. Fabulous breakfast, helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Any requests dealt with in super quick time. Could do with more beds around the three pools and more shade there from the very hot sun. Overall had a great stay and would rerun.

There is a strong mold smell in the rooms. We asked to move a room due to the smell and the other room unfortunetly also had the mold smell.

Breakfast was very good, the location - best we ve ever had, it was very calm and peaceful meanwhile we had 3 minutes way to the city centre - I dont know how they did this, but it was a jungle in the middle of the Rush turistic city. 5 minutes to the beach, many restaurants and shops near below, and the view of the Mountain- it was exquisite, wonderful, spectacular ! We would really reccomnd this spot to all of the travelers, we enjoyed it much ! Greets to the stuff, they were 100 % helpful and friendly! We will come Back for sure 🫶🫶🫶

Peace Laguna Resort & Spa is situated in beautiful grounds in a very quiet location just off the main road to Ao Nang Beach. A very comfortable room with an excellent bed

The bathroom in our room was tired and definitely needs an overall as do some of the other fixtures and fittings. The breakfast was average and the bread, pastries and coffee could have been improved

I didn't like that we paid for the luxury bungalows which are expensive. When we chilled, there were was no English TV channels letting know the staff, and they said sorry....! I've been travelling to Thailand for many years and and even the budget accommodation their was English channels!!! The air conditioning was not working properly, and a few days was not working even at all . We had to call the technician to fix it 2 times because it is too hot to be without one, then they said there is a problem with air-conditioning and they can't be fixed properly 😳. For 6 nights, we paid over 1300 euros for the luxury bungalow and TV, and specifically air-conditioning, which are very important !!! Everything else was really nice 🥰

The personal was nice and kind.

The room was really outdated and outdoor shower couldn’t use due to people next door were able to watching you. The walking street is close by and music is running late at night. When asking to fix lights on the walkway, nobody did and you have to walk in dark back to the room. Breakfast buffet didn’t change a lot during a week….

The hotel is in the middle of a well cared garden, surrounding a lovely pond, which gives every corner of the place a sense of tranquillity. We slept very well. The 3 pools are nice and a very good alternative to day trips to the islands in front of Krabi in case one wants to spend a day relaxing. The reception area is very welcoming. The staff is attentive and caring. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options both of continental food and Thai.

The rooms could be cleaned better. When we checked in we had the impression that our room had not been properly cleaned (e.g., there were some stains on a pillowcase, hairs on the bed and in the bathtub, the floor did not look as if it had been moped). We asked the staff to fix these issues and clean the room the following day but on our return to the hotel we found that they had just made the bed and changed the towels. The furniture looks a bit outdated and could be refreshed in some parts.
