It was in the heart of the action near lively bars and the beach however at night time it sounded as though the bar was in the next room so on the nights we stayed in it was hard to sleep. The hotel was clean and convenient, good value for what we paid.

I stayed here 4 days 3 nights and I had a blast. This hotel nearby everything. 7eleven, foods, stalls, beach only 5 mins walk. They do provide breakfast cost 300baht. They have swimming pool as well but it was in different hotel (behind Wake-Up Hotel). Staff were very welcoming, I like the room service staff, very kind and polite. Thank you for the great experience, definitely will be back here!

Deposite is 1,000baht. Only cash accepted. I think the deposit is too high, for someone who travelled only for 1 place in 1 country, it's a bit hustle.

I highly recommend Wake Up Ao Nang. The staff are endlessly helpful and kind. They speak fluent English and the reception is staffed nearly all hours. The major bonus with staying at this accommodation for a very reasonable price is having the use of the magnificent pool and moderate gym facilities at the adjacent resort - such a bonus!! Location-wise too, you are a 3 minute walk to the beach, Railay long tail boats, and the main restaurants/amenities. Close for convenience and far enough away to enjoy quiet! Bliss. I would stay here again without hesitation. Beds comfy, rooms spotlessly clean, free filter water on tap in reception. Totally as photographs depict.

I could not think of one thing to improve. Note that as pictured the sink is in the bedroom space in the shared dorm, not in toilet cubicle.

Very well maintained hostel. My best stay during my two week solo trip in Thailand. Great location. The rooms are cleaned everyday. They provide free water bottle and my 4 bed female dorm had a kettle and fridge too along with attached washrooms. They also have a 24 hr laundry service which you can pay and use. Ao nang beach is a 2 min walk away. Everything is super accesible. Would definitely recommend.

They mentioned that they provide free hot chocolate and biscuits but I didn't find any. The lockers don't have locks attached to them so you need to buy one yourself which seemed weird.

Women’s only dorm, met lovely people. They used the pool and were happy with it. The bathroom was clean and serviced daily. Complimentary water daily per guest, put in the fridge. Storage cupboard in the room for bags was handy. Beds are comfy. You get a towel too. It’s right in the middle of the strip, so it’s easy to get anywhere. Use of the gym next door was a bonus.

Price went from €24 to €48 in one day so I moved after 2 nights. Card transaction was pending when I arrived, even though it had been deducted from my balance they wanted to charge again. I refused to pay twice and after a lengthy discussion we came to agreement. The staff were very kind and polite.

the location is almost in the center. next to the hotel, 7/11 and close to restaurants. the staff was friendly and hotel manager Lala was really helpful. they also allow you to use the facilities of the resort behind the hotel(same owner I guess). the closest restaurant was in the hotel territory and they have the best fried shrimps in Ao Nang

the water pressure in the room was not enough. the cleaning team doesnt change your sheets as often as you request. the cleaning of the room was only OK. hotel located in the center of very noisy pubs-bars. the rooms are not soundproof, therefore very loud in the night until 2-3 O'clock

The hotel is very centrally located but still quiet. It is also very close to the boat service that takes you to Railay beach and the islands. The room is clean, the bed comfortable. Trash is taken out daily.

There is not reception, you checkin to the hotel next door, so it gives you the feeling that it is desserted. The halways are underlit which makes them a little scary at night.

The location was excellent as was the STAFF, always smiling and so friendly. Loved that you are right in all the excitement of town but can go to the pools at Krabi Tipa to just totally chill out. Food and service excellent also. Loved the staff at both facilities, made our stay exceptional. So easy to book all the wonderful excursions right there also. And the whole resort is just so beautiful, highly recommend staying at this hotel.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this hotel, was very pleased that we felt we picked the perfect one especially for 32 days.

The location of the hotel was a very big plus point - very close to the beach and centrally located in Ao nang. Everything was very accessible from there - with lots of restaurants and shopping streets nearby. The staff was very helpful and guided us with some questions about the local culture. The room was very clean and the daily cleaning service ensured that the sand from the beach did not get too frustrating. The room was very big and spacious with a nice balcony and good facilities. Would highly recommend this hotel for a vacation stay!
