Excellent location with rooms in a pretty garden set back slightly from the white powdery sands & turquoise seas of Hat Pattaya but with the pool, bar & restaurant right on the beachfront or beach. Hat Pattaya & in fact a lot of Koh Lipe gets very busy by the late afternoon & evening. Fabulously comfortable beds & very good air con. Huge bathroom with a good shower. I found Koh Lipe too crowded & busy but Dong Talay was a lovely haven that allowed me to enjoy the island. Very good food in the restaurant with an attentive smiling young man managing proceedings

Very little. The rooms were a little in need of updating but hardly an issue given the location. The young lady in the bar was rather frequently offhand. The reception staff tried to be helpful but English & communication sometimes a problem to get even simple matters addressed. Would be good if the restaurant closed later than 18:00

We wanted a room with 2 seperate bedrooms, which are hard to find in Lipe, So for us this was perfect. Nice location in the middle of Pattaya Beach, not far from walking St, Good pool, Friendly helpful staff. Not too many boats. Bar and Lunch options plentyful. We would happily stay here again.

Wasnt anything we didnt like, But the breakfast is very 'samey' although fruit, Eggs and toast, Juice and Coffee was enough to set you us for the day. Room decor could be modernised, clothes hangers and hooks in short supply. Beach chairs could use updating, but these are just minor details in an otherwise lovely resort.

We were very lucky to find Dong Talay available for our dates, as we'd decided to change accommodation on account of poor reviews for our previous choice. We are so happy we found it, perfect location on Pattaya beach a little further from the busiest area where the boats drop off but still only a 5 minute walk to Walking Street. Breakfast was adequate, something to set us up for the day. We had a garden room which was a beautiful setting, I think preferable to a beach front one. Staff couldn't do enough for us, and slight issue with bathroom tap was fixed promptly. The staff will also meet you at jetty to bring luggage

Beautiful location, great staff (shout out to Packs who sorted us out!). Pool is fab and lovely beach chairs on a pretty beach. The room was big with a huge bathroom! And they cleaned the room when asking.

Expensive for what it is - without our upgrade to beach front room it wouldn’t be worth it for us. Also a better bar/food area would have been appreciated

The hotel is very close to Pattaya Beach Pier, and its main attraction is undoubtedly the infinity pool just a few meters from the seafront. You can quickly reach any point on the island on foot, the breakfast is delicious, and the room is comfortable.

They didn't answer our emails, and despite letting them know the time of our boat, they didn't come to pick us up like the rest of the hotels did, which disappointed us quite a bit.

Good hotel, great location and staff were super helpful.

Breakfast could have been better As it’s off season, building work was being done, would have been good to know before arrival, however it didn’t bother me too much as I was out, if your planning to stay by the hotel (or have kids which run around) might be worth checking if it’s complete (though note as off season a lot of places will be doing building work)

Kids could use the pool while we were on the beach. The breakfests were not that diverse, but everybody finished with full stomach (although one day there was no vegetables served). The homemade pastry was really good. The walking street with many restaurants is really close.

Nothing really, it's like others shared the place is little old, but it's clean and tidy, everything is functioning so nothing to complain.

Comfortable bed, clean room & good shower. Nice pool. On the beach & short walk to Walking Street. Very quiet at night which is a bonus. Breakfast is basic but was fine for us, no complaints

Nothing to do with the resort BUT Beach is beautiful it’s just a shame there are so many boats here coming & going which leave bilge oil in the sea.

Great location. Breakfast staff and cleaning staff lovely.

Reception staff and bar staff very cold and not friendly. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Reception staff didn’t care that one of us had to sleep on the couch. Kayak and paddle boards never get used as too expensive. Should be free for customers.

The location was right at the Pattaya Beach. Nice bungalows with a big bathroom and big bedroom. There was also a kind of livingroom with TV and fridge but there was no A/C so simply too hot to use other than for shoes and drying clothes/towels. When we booked it said no breakfast included but upon arrival we were told that breakfast was included - very nice! There's an OK pool if you don't like the salt water. We would definitely recommend.

Everything was good
