Near Phuket Airport 2. Owner of the Villa easy to communicate with (she will give her response as soon as she can) 3. They can speak English language 4. Check in anytime, according to the availability of the rooms 5. Budget friendly, I stayed 1 week 6. Near to 7/11, Super Cheap Shop, street foods and Maikhao Beach (Airport Beach) 7. The restaurant!!!!!! don’t forget to order the seafood! Food are freshly cooked. Affordable and super delicious 8. Breakfaaaaaaaaaaast!!!!!! Don’t forget to inform them which breakfast you like for the next day, there’s a menu to choose 9. Assistance going to different places 10. Super clean 11. All the people who works in the Villa, special mention to Daddy, Mommy, Brother Pond, Jina and to all of you. I visited a lot of places and most of the time I used Booking.com but you guys are exceptional, I treated you as my own family because you all take care of me during my stay in Phuket, for sure I’ll come back 🥺 12. Pool 13. Open for any beliefs, they’re friendly 14. A lot of things……………… I want to say everything but this will take long 💕

I didn’t like? of course, none.

As we had an early flight to catch we weren’t able to stay for breakfast but we were very kindly provided with a lovely breakfast bag to take with us. We were collected and taken back to the airport by our host (outward journey included with our room booking) which was very helpful. We loved our room - it was very large, tastefully decorated, had great air conditioning and a beautiful large bathroom. We enjoyed swimming in the good sized pool and later going up to the rooftop bar and restaurant for cocktails and dinner. Both were delicious! We can thoroughly recommend this property and will certainly stay again when next in Phuket.

Although there was an electronic security lock on our door, a room safe would have been a useful facility. Everything else was perfect.

the hosts were super friendly and looked after us like they were a 5-star resort! the place was clean and loved the Japanese theme and cozy restaurant upfront by the roadside. definitely exceeded our expectations! I even got to hire a scooter at such a great price for a full day use which was so handy being able to travel around the village. probably the most underrated part of Maikhao village! the host even took us to the airport without asking us for money which I gotta say is worthy of a great review.

I stayed at Wayla while volunteering at Soi Dog. It was the perfect location and they lent me a bicycle to ride there which was around 5 mins. The room was clean and tidy. The staff are so kind and will go above and beyond to help you. They even offered to mind my bags and let me use the shower on my last day in Phuket even though I was coming from another area having checked out already from Wayla days before. There’s a cute little cafe directly across the road serving great coffee, a little cart just to the left serving refreshing lemon ice crushes - must try!

This acconmodation is just a magnificent house! The villa which has different appartments is brand new with all neccessaties available. We booked 2 rooms but as the beds are all Xl one room was more than enough. The ground floor right room can accommodate 8 persons instead of four. I recommand to stay in touch with the highly friendly owner to provide you information what to book. There is free airport shuttle service paid by the owner! They can provide you with shuttle service for your next stay with tarriffs that can compete with the Bolt or Grab apps! Shortly to conclude: 10 out of 10! And then I haven't mentioned the refreshing pool or delicious breakfast! Last thing: finally we chose for the ground flour appartment/room for just not going all the way up the stairs with our luggage after an international flight, but the split level.room right top floor is just beaitiful and so well designed!!

Nothing,really nothing

I booked the quadruple room for my family and the room was very clean and well kept. The staff were kind and attentive to all our needs. There is a delicious restaurant on site to enjoy and the included breakfast was delicious. The property is a short bike ride to the beach which was a beautiful beach. It’s very close to other eating options with a 7/11 just down the road. The host Phong went out of his way to make sure we were looked after and our transfers went smoothly. Big thanks to Jina who organised a fantastic transfer for us with Chai who was a terrific guide with a wealth of local knowledge! The one way hotel transfer for free was a great bonus also👌🏽 In this family run business you can also hire a scooter or car right next door. It’s the perfect place to stay near the airport

Everything was great!

The property is along a quiet street with few big developments. It is a 10-min walk to a beach and there are good restaurants nearby. Staff were lovely (especially the 2 smiling housekeepers), and the owner was helpful and offered to drive us to nearby places. We like that there was Netflix in the room! :) There is also a wonderful on-site restaurant that serves really yummy Thai food and more. Overall, great value-for-money for a short, quiet stay.

We stayed in the Japanese room and while we liked it very much, a few things could be fixed: - the bath could not hold water so we couldn't take a hot soak - a light fixture next to the bathroom sink was exactly at our eye-level and I took a couple of knocks to the head accidentally - the ac in the bedroom leaked water so badly we had to put towels underneath it for several nights. Have told the owner about the problem so hopefully it gets sorted out!

Our daughter felt like a queen during our stay, the breakfast was incredible each day (choice of a main dish, fruit platter and toast with tea and coffee!) and kept us full until dinner, we chose to eat at the Wayla Restaurant three times (would recommend the massaman curry and the chicken and cashew nuts, tried my first ever coconut here and we also had a lovely fried fish on the first night too) as the food was amazing and our four year old loved the margarita pizza (she’s in a plain food stage!). There are plenty of other places to eat too, and a useful little supermarket and ATM a short walk away. We were the only people at the pool each time we went to use it so it felt like a private space (obviously down to chance!). The beach was a short walk away, unfortunately it does have a lot of rubbish on it but close to the sea was clear and they put out flags to warn you when it’s dangerous to swim. We walked all the way to the spot where the planes take off overhead, there’s a few food stalls there which was a good reward for the effort. We felt a bit guilty because we didn’t travel outside of Mai Khao and see more of Thailand, we have moved to Malaysia for work and wanted a well deserved lazy break, and Wayla Villa gave us that and more. The people working at the villa and restaurant were all lovely, very helpful and made our daughter smile. We are looking forward to coming back in the future!

Wayla Villa is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and authenticity of our host, who genuinely cares for his guests. The villa assistant was incredibly helpful, ensuring smooth transport and providing an exceptional breakfast that exceeded our expectations. The accommodation itself was extremely comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Its location is perfect—just a short walk to restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and a relaxing massage parlour. The welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful hospitality made this the perfect start to our Phuket family holiday. Highly recommended!

Returning for our second visit in so many weeks to a Family run business, who couldn’t do enough for you, I really couldn’t fault their customer service. We arranged lifts with them to surrounding beaches and to Krabi. The food was excellent and the apartment we stayed at was stunning. They even provided a take away breakfast for us as we had an early flight. I could not fault this place, and if we were to return to Thailand we would definitely stay again.

It was perfect for us as a family, but it’s a Short taxi ride to swimmable beaches. We enjoyed the tranquility of the location.
