This hotel is located in a quiet, nature-surrounded area in the northwest, away from downtown. It’s peaceful, family-friendly, and offers two large swimming pools plus a kids’ pool, all very clean. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Management is understanding, and the reception is always helpful. Complimentary bike rentals are available, though the quality is a 7/10. The restaurant serves excellent food (10/10), but adding another option would improve variety. The Wi-Fi is reliable (8/10). The nearby Turtle Village, just 10 minutes by car, offers shops, restaurants, and conveniences. The beach is beautiful for relaxation, but the sand has glass and stones, which should be cleaned regularly. The toilet near the pool needs improvement. The spa is outstanding, with professional therapists and an exceptional Thai massage. If you don’t mind long trips to downtown, this hotel is a great choice for a peaceful retreat.

This has got to be one of the best hotels we’ve had the opportunity to stay at. It is simply wonderful! The facilities and the hotel architecture are simply beautiful, it’s well adjusted to the surrounding nature. It’s quiet and very peaceful. The staff is so friendly and going above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The breakfast is superb: such a comprehensive buffet, with fresh ingredients! Their restaurants Sasa and Gaya also offer amazing and tasty food! The rooms are unreal, from the decor, to how spacious they are, to the amazing bathroom amenities. The beach is also really good as it’s so far from the crowds! We highly recommend this area and Hotel in Phuket, we sincerely hope to come back!

One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed at. Elegant, modern, clean, villa with private pool absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, great food. If you want to have a 100% relax - this is the best place.

If you’re an active person: 1. The sea is very rough there so it’s impossible to swim or even have a quick splash there. 2. There’s nothing else to do around there as it is in isolated location with nearest village 1,5 km and not walkable at all. The hotel rents bicycles free of charge but only for 2 hours which is not sufficient enough

Superb room with outside splash pool and bathtub, very large comfortable bed and super clean. A lovely complex with excellent facilities for premium travellers. Staff extremely polite and helpful and outdoor areas meticulously maintained.

The only thing that prevented us rating this a 10 was the range and quality of the food. The restaurant menu is limited on choice, especially if you don't eat fish. The quality of the room service pizza leaves much to be desired and due to the hotel location it is difficult to get food delivery drivers, ie: Grab to order from elsewhere. In all we had a wonderful stay and strongly recommend the hotel for the room, staff, facilities and cleanliness. However our constructive criticism is to advise the hotel management to re-evaluate the restaurant menu offerings.

Stayed 4 nights a Melia, overall it was a very good stay! The resort is only 2 years old, so everything feels new and clean. Villa with swimming pool was very enjoyable, high ceiling, outdoor shower and bath tub, comfy bed. 2 pools are nice especially the one by the beach, the beach itself is not that nice if you wanna chill there. Western and thai food quality level is fine. Service is good but not over the top Highly recommended to rent a car if you wanna be able to explore the island

Points to improve: The quality of the coffee that you get at breakfast is very bad Chromecast or Apple TV should be available in the room Both swimming pools are closing at 6pm

The staff, especially Serena and Beam, were incredibly helpful and kind! We loved the beach, the stunning sunset views, and the villas with private pools. We tried the massage at the spa, which was great. The rooms and the resort in general were exceptionally clean, with wonderful aesthetic design and views. We also loved that there were two other pools in addition to the private pool.

The only downside was the presence of insects and other animals. While we understand that it's normal in a natural setting like this, it did make us a bit uncomfortable.

We had a villa with our own pool and outside bathtub, spacious with excellent design and functionality. All in nearly new condition. Housekeeping did a great job and also provided turndown service. The pool at the beach is awesome, with kind team to supply with beach towels and drinks / food from the bar. The beach is actually very nice, we have been swimming there a couple of times in small to medium waves. Breakfast was amazing, with a hughe variety of fresh fruit, cold European and warm Asian dishes from the buffet and additional dishes to be ordered. Despite the rather small size of the restaurant, we always found a table inside. Additional space is available outside. However, the best is the amazing service team at breakfast, always very friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home from the first day! During Songkran, the hotel organized various activities for the hotel staff and guests, from a visit and blessings of Buddhist monks, to a darts game with a lot of fun and great prizes for everyone participating to a parade through the hotel, which ended in a huge water battle at the beachfront pool. Thank you Anna and your team for this memorable event we and our kids will never forget! Really outstanding hospitality! The location is also very good, on the nice and 10km long beach of Mai Khao. Much nicer than the overcrowded and touristy spots south of the airport. Also, a lot of great restaurants are close by, such as Baan Ar-Jor or Kin Dee, with great local cuisine awarded a Bib by Michelin.

Water sports activity would be great to have on site, but we knew before that it won’t be available.

It's a perfect holdiay option for those who seek silence and relaxation. Our room's housekeeper was totally amazing and we hope this comments finds her. From the beginning of check-in, the pools' staff, reception, restaurant and spa staff they all very kind and cheerful. Every question of us was answered promptly and fully. We also got boat tour from the hotel which we recommend.

For those who never been in Phuket, this hotel is far away from the city center and famous bays. Also the sea is not convenient to swim. It might be because we stayed in monsoon season but it is better to keep in mind.

- staff really makes this place - from the gardeners and housekeepers, waiting staff to receptionists and activities organizers. A special shout out to Aum - his professionalism and kind nature is top notch, Pear - just a perfect sweet person to look after kids. - the whole place is beautiful, clean and very well designed - looks exactly like the photos - dreamy, tranquil - it’s quite kids friendly - a good kids menu, high chairs, plastic plates, cups and cutlery. The staff is very helpful - keep kids entertained during meals or offer baggy drop offs. we were even placed in a villa closest to pool, restaurants and kids club to make it easier to get around with our toddler daughter. - delicious breakfast, lots of options, on top of buffet you can order a la carte - we loved the free bicycles - it’s nice to get to a little village nearby and see a temple - only a short ride and a nice way to see the surroundings

- the location isn’t great, it’s off the way from the main attractions and although near the beach, it’s not possible not only to swim there but not even sit and relax, the beach is full of rubbish - spa little overpriced - restaurant little disappointing - not enough options and since there aren’t many restaurants around, you kind of stuck with what they have to offer - “kids pool” is literally just a tiny shallow pool with nothing “kiddy” about it

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Melia Resort Hotel in Phuket, and it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. We are a family of 4 so we booked 2 rooms, they are like chalets but not connected, you can book the lower floor which has a small pool, or the upper floor which has a bath tub and terrace. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of the staff was evident. They welcomed us with warm smiles and an eagerness to ensure our stay was perfect. Every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home, we have never felt a more welcoming people than we had in Phuket. The setting of the resort is nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the hotel offers a serene and tranquil environment that allows guests to truly unwind and connect with nature. The beautifully landscaped gardens, the minimalist architecture and the calming sounds of the surrounding wildlife created a peaceful ambiance that was perfect for relaxation. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered an external shower area and bathtub. Waking up to the sight of the vibrant flora and hearing the gentle rustling of leaves was a delightful way to start each day. The resort’s amenities were equally nice, with a pristine pool, a spa ( the main one was undergoing renovation), but we had our wonderful Thai massage in another location within the resort, also available an all day dining and an outdoor dining option that served delicious, locally-and internationally inspired cuisine.

One thing to be aware off, at night you will see a lot of insects and small reptiles crawling everywhere, so if you are afraid of insects, a resort within nature in Phuket might not be right for you. Also the beach is rough and not recommended for swimming. It is also a little far from the action
