The beach is isolated and amazing, the rooms are big and clean, nice atmosphire, live music in the reception etc. great kids club where you can leave the kids, activities on the beach (SUP, bow and arrow etc), the teams is amazingly nice, i can refer to the ladies at the reception (Berry, PIM and Taung). we had to check out at 1200, but wanted to stay in the beach/pool until 1700 and go to airport, and they arranged us a room to shower in before our departure. a real 5 start service

if you need shops you need to drive a bit, or take a taxi/tok-tok, but it's also an advantage to be in a quiet area

- Friendly staff and fast service - Very clean and well-maintained. Staff is constantly working to maintain the premises - It breathes 'luxury' and 'calmness' - Spacious room with separate bathroom (large shower) and toilet. Our spacious balcony faced the pool and Ocean View restaurant and we could enjoy live music from there - The breakfast buffet is AMAZING. So many options that it becomes difficult to choose. Everything was fresh and tasteful. - 'Beach' massages (not sure if it's part of the hotel, but they offered great massages, better priced compared to the hotel spa) - Swimming pools of which 1 offers slides and a children's play area - Direct access to the beach - Large kids club (indoor and outdoor) where the little ones can have fun for hours. The staff is super friendly and are constantly playing with the kids - Well-equipped gym and sport activities (HIIT training, yoga, Thai boxing classes, etc.) - Live entertainment at the Ocean View restaurant (fire show, live music) - We received a breakfast box on our final morning as we had to leave before the breakfast buffet opened We only stayed 2 nights as we wanted to be close to Phuket Airport before heading home, but you can definitely enjoy your stay for longer at this lovely hotel!

- The hotel is not within walking distance from local shops/activities. There are 2 restaurants next to the hotel (1 part of another hotel and 1 separate) that you can walk to via the beach, but you need to take a taxi/car/motorbike if you want to go somewhere else. - Food in the hotel is expensive compared to local restaurants, which you can probably expect from a 5-star hotel, however, we preferred to go outside the hotel to discover the local Thai restaurants - There are quite some higher waves at Mai Khao beach which does not make it suitable for a 2 year old to play in sea surf

The hotel is beautiful and right in front of the beach. It is also close to the airport. Our room was very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

The hotel is far from the city centre and there aren’t any shops around it. There could be more chairs close to the beach, especially for guests who are not travelling with children. The hotel restaurants were very expensive for Thailand and the service was not always efficient.

Pool was very beautiful Resort is well maintained and staff are very attentive and friendly Kids club was great and 24hour room service was an added bonus too. Brekky was also really lovely and the added view of the beach and beanbags on the beach were really nice too even though we didn’t swim in ocean

The spa, restaurants and bars were very expensive. We ended up getting tuk tuks or taxi to Yum Yums on the beach which has much nicer food and lots cheaper food and alcohol. And the massage on the beach is really beautiful and a quarter of the price in the resorts day spa and you can buy alcohol to take to your room by catching a taxi to supermarket (only sells alcohol after5pm) that’s a fifth of the price than room service. The beach sounded and looked beautiful but was too ferocious for us to swim in but the pools are so beautiful it didn’t bother us.

Great location and perfect for family with kids. Few pools to play around and great direct access to the beach.

Pools are not shadowed during the day, so it gets a bit too sunny for the younger kids. The food options during the day are not that great. Would love to have more Thai food options and less pizza/pasta for our kids. Breakfast buffet could be improved with healthier options.

Le Meridien (former Holiday Inn) is nicely located surrounded by green and lots of greens on the property. Breakfast serving is super good. Staff is super friendly but need more training to be efficient. Housekeeping prepared the most incredible surprise for my birthday. Never seen before.

Management of the Sea Located bar is terrible. Many mistakes and absolutely no organisation. Staff works hard and are friendly but they need better guidance. In my opinion this is not a breaking point and can easily be solved.

We booked two rooms with a mini pool. There's absolutely nothing to nitpick about the rooms: clean, cozy, everything is brand new, huge shower, there's even a smart toilet. Excellent soundproofing too. I've been to many places, but this room has won me over.

Two things stood out: I wish the pillows were a bit lower and softer. And I was surprised by the breakfast — it felt a bit odd. Everything seemed to be there, but it still felt kind of poor. The cheese wasn’t tasty, the cold cuts were the cheapest kind. The food leans more towards Thai style and seems tailored for Chinese guests. Definitely not up to a European standard.

It was one of the best decisions I've made when I decided to stay here, clean, comfortable, relaxing, pools, spa, beach, service, breakfast, staff everything was perfect. Whoever, the location is not near to the common attraction and touristy areas and almost not applicable to visiting them while staying here.

Only the Food, mainly I have tow main issues with the food. First the taste and quality!! You need to work hard on it. The burger, pizza, pasta, were below average and I didn't liked them. Second, the half board experience. I went to the restaurant for the dinner and the waiter gave me the menu. Then he checked on the system that i am having the hall board option. So he came and asked us to replace the menu to other ones !! Again . You may need to pay additional prices if you selected few meals on the menu !! . Personally, i never experienced such a " half board " practice.

Everything we experienced during our short stay was fantastic. The staff, service, the room, facilities and the pool areas was awesome. We were surprised yet very pleased with the beach side thai massage even though it might not belonged to the hotel. The restaurants, both breakfast and nearby the beach was absolutely perfect. Will definitely come back for a longer stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. And the fact that we got a free upgrade on our rooms just added that extra ”icing on the cake”. Thank you for that!

The minibar in the room was empty. Other than that I cannot mention anything negative.

As a family with young children (3 and 5 YO), this property was absolutely ideal. The choice of pools (all next to each other) with little slides and a splash pad were just fantastic. And, all looked onto the stunning beach which meant we could go between the two very quickly and without lugging all our stuff around! The kids club is brilliant, as are the staff that work there. There is also a little local massage shed between the pool and the beach that both myself and my children enjoyed for a relaxing massage; the ladies who run it are lovely. We stayed for 4 nights, and only left the resort once to go to an elephant sanctuary which is exactly what we wanted; to switch off and just enjoy days at the pool/beach. The rooms are spacious and clean, all the food we had was delicious and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is happy to escape the hustle and bustle of Phuket.

There was honestly nothing that we did not like. Some reviews have mentioned visitors being disappointed that they are out of the way, but we felt that these reviews informed us very well and so we were totally prepared for the fact that we were going to be a bit more isolated. And, to be honest, this was absolutely not an issue for us.
