The hotel was right on the beach, it had 3 large pools, all were lovely. However they did have a few leaves and sand in them, mainly due to location near to the beach and greenery around the hotel. Our room was great overlooking the pool, lots of room and storage. The bathroom was also great with lots of hot water.

Staff were not very enthusiastic especially around the pool and restaurants. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, but the menu in an evening was limited.

The rooms were a great design and very spacious. We had two kids with us, and the connecting rooms was a great feature, we didn't even know this was an option! The location was exactly what I wanted. We were travelling out of Phuket on checkout so wanted to be at the north of the island. We also wanted a less crowded and relaxed hotel and it was perfect. Breakfast was a very typical buffet style hotel breakfast with a reasonable selection of cooked items, bacon, eggs, sausage, along with cereals, yoghurts and Asian style breakfast. The fresh coffee from the bean was very welcome.

The keycard in our room was a little temperamental and I could see some guests having problems. The bathrooms finish was s a little poor compared to the rest of the room and property. If they did some very light maintenance on the bathrooms then these rooms would be exceptional.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and its location next to a beautiful beach was perfect. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made our experience even better. The only downside was the mattress—it was a bit too firm for our liking, but that's just a personal preference. Breakfast was good, nothing too extraordinary, but still a satisfying hotel breakfast. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

The staff. Absolutely first rate. From the bartender and waitresses at the Seven Seas hotel restaurant, counter staff, and all the maintenance and housekeeping crew who were cheerful and helpful every day. The staff at the D Varee were focused on providing a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Some items were not working. The running treadmill in the exercise room did not work.

Very good location at the beach and the restaurant also open air just next to the beach, nice surroundings, beautiful. The service was very good, very nice personnel. The rooms were nice.

The beds were hard and the bath room was a bit worn down but otherwise the rooms were very nice. The whole hotel was a bit worn down, would need a bit more maintenance to keep up the standard, did not get the feeling of a 5 Star hotel. The pools did not look inviting.

Beatiful hotel, perfect combination of a small jungle and a developed resort with no animals or Insects (except dragon flies in the pool which are harmless) Amazing and huge pools Real beach front - just 12 meters from the beach pool to endless beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket. Very good breakfast. Super helpful staff, very polite. 1 km from the main road and villages, creates great atmosphere.

Nothing I could think of

Out private access to the pool was fantastic, especially as we were the only ones there. The leisure facilities at the resort are great and easy access to the beach, but reletavely steep. The staff were great and could not do enough for you. We had a stunning thunderstorm. Food was good with a really good choice for breakfast. Great wildlife around the hardens.

A bit far from anywhere, and a bit quiet, but we are out of season.

This is the kind of place you don't want others to know about because you don't want all the rooms to be booked when you want to go there. Room 'balcony' directly into the pool was wonderful. Right on the beach....

This place is perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were amazing!! The rooms were super clean and comfortable. We felt so well looked after with late check out time (1:00 PM) being offered and extra amenities for free. We really enjoyed the quiet vibe and secluded feel of the resort.

Nice beach location. Staff were very kind. Ms Nana at reception handled an unpleasant situation commendably.

The property has a great location but clearly needs some investment to remain competitive. It would not be 5 stars in my opinion- and I am generous.
