The location is superior as there's a inter connection hall between BTS station (Sukhumvit line) and the hotel for guest can reach the Ratchathewi station easily (1 stop from Siam station). The room deco is old but the cleanliness is good. Within 5 mins walk from the hotel, you can find 7-11, massage and delicious street food, so given the price and the excellent location, I'd recommend to people who like to spend time outside exploring local life!!!

We arrived like 3 a.m. in the morning the staff were friendly but one of them doesn't understand English very well so the check-in was a bit slow.

It's my go too location. Easy access to BTS.

Unfortunately, this time their breakfast was far from it's usual self. Apparently they had a big Asian conference, the food was tailored to Asia tastes. In the past they offered a great Western style breakfast. Not this time.

The Hotel was 7 minutes walk to Siam street which is shopping destination, opposite of hotel there are couple of bars with live music which you can spend your evening there. hotel has direct access to Metro line. Breakfast was good and room was clean.

We arrived hotel 7 in the morning , usually hotels which have empty rooms will accept early check in to satisfy the customers. On our case there was available rooms but they charged us for half a night. It was no issue for us to pay but could make us happier and we would rate them 10.

Staying here for the second time. Love the Location(directly connects to the sukhimvit line) very close to Siam discovery/centre/paragon, you can take the metro which is just one stop away or even walk it. proper maintained hygiene and cleanliness at the hotel, staff is super helpful and kind, oh and absolutely love the breakfast here! Worth every penny. I will probably choose Asia hotel again when in BKK!!

I hope they could change the check in timing. If guests have to check out by 11am then at-least allow them to check in at 12pm or something. 3pm is too late. I landed at 6am and reached the hotel around 8am and had to wait till 3pm for my room.

As this is the second time we have stayed at the Asia, and it was perfect for us. This time the renovations have been completed, and the foyer is very flash indeed. We stayed in room 1515 and we requested this room when booking last year. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was spacious. The staff were so happy and welcoming and nothing was ever a problem. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice from Asian to western style food. If you like to walk the streets of Bangkok this is a perfect location.

The wallpaper in our room needs to be replaced as it was peeling off. The bathroom was needing a little maintenance/refresh as the bathtub was rather worn. We found the cost of the drinks at the bar to be rather over the top considering, especially the wine 380 baht for a glass of wine was rather expensive.

it's old Hotel, with all what it's say (elevator, carpet. bathroom, toilet) but the location is the best for us.

Good place for accommodation. Especially breakfast is perfect. Friendly staff.

The beds are single beds next to each other. For married couples, it can be a double bed.

Breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from. Location of hotel is excellent right beside the BTS and not far from several shopping malls. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Despite the sign in the bathroom saying hang your towels so they won't be taken, clean towels were given everyday = a waste of doing extra laundry. Plus clean glasses were replaced everyday in the bathroom COVERED IN PLASTIC! I could have used the same glass all week but instead a new one was provided each day so a piece of single use plastic was thrown in the bin each day. Therefore my only gripe is that the Asia Hotel need to look into being more sustainable in there practices and processes.

The location is great, smack next to Ratchathewi BTS station with a dedicated entrance at level 2 of the hotel (entrance there has steps). Take the elevator from the BTS station to street level instead and walk a little bit more. Otherwise the rest of the hotel entrances are wheelchair accessible. Bakery outside the hotel sells nice pastries and hotel guests get a slight discount. 2 7-11s, one to the left and right of the street. Nice street food and small cafes along the main street and side alleys. Friendly and helpful staff. The renovated rooms were nice and clean with the essentials. nice spacious rooms. Nice pool area and gym. The new rooms were quiet with little noise from traffic. Great big lounge/concierge area. 10 minute walk to MBK, Siam discovery and Bangkok art and cultural centre which has wheelchair access to MBK from street level (closes at 8pm).

This hotel is one of the early grand hotels of Bangkok. Opened in '66 and still going. Yeah it's aging, but the rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, the staff pleasant and efficient. We only stayed the one night but we'd go back. The biggest draw is the location. Even for Bangkok this suburb is buzzing with food and drink options but even better is the direct access to the train from level 2 of the hotel. Yeah it's no longer the flashiest of hotel options but the price is reasonable and if you're looking for a good base to explore BKK then this is a great option.

We actually requested our rooms be separated. The kids were driving us nuts and we wanted them on another floor :) Instead we ended up in a connecting room with a door between. Not ideal but only there for the night and not really a complaint, just not what we expected.
