Here is very picky cons:)) otherwise NONE! There is a construction site just behind the guesthouse (march 2025) and it gets a bit noisy during the day. Walls are thin and if people talking loud on the corridor/next door you hear everything. But, actually, it's an old building, it's expected. Too big and hard pillows (I''m sleeping on flat ones, so for me it's a big deal)

The location was excellent - only 10 minutes from Khoa San Road, there’s a 7-11 just up the road which is very convenient, and lots of restaurants just a stones throw away. The room was spacious and comfortable, great for the price.

The walls are pretty thin, and unfortunately on our last night people chose to smoke/chat outside of our room for 30 minutes which woke us up.

It was an amazing stay. Room is very spacious, clean, bed large and comfortable. The guy that's always at the reception was just fantastic - super friendly, helpful, always smiling, and he would accommodate any request we had. It's a great place to stay in Bangkok, lots of charming streets, cafes, restaurants, close to Khao San and walkable distance to Grand Palace. We would definitely stay again.

There's no breakfast available unlike what booking.com says but it wasn't an issue, we found some lovely breakfast places nearby.

The location is so good. It’s a 5 min walk to the busy streets like Koh San Road, but you don’t sleep in the loud noises. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean

Maybe the small bathroom, but for us that was no problem at all. But if you like a big bathroom, then this is not a location for you. And the hard beds

It is a centrally located hostel (10-15 min walk to Khao San) with affordable prices. There are plenty of places to eat on the neighbouring streets. The room seemed relatively recently furnished

The bathroom is adjacent to the room but outside of the concrete walls which makes it a bit hot there. There’s a nice seating space outside of the rooms but it is outdoors so not great when it’s hot or if someone wants to work remotely. Also, they don’t take card payment

This is a lovely little hotel that's nice and quiet at night, but in the vicinity of lots of delicious restaurants. It's an easy walk to Khao San and the lompraya bus on rambutree. Our regular hotel was booked out, so we tried Blue Chang and were pleasantly surprised by the nice touches. The rooms are big and comfortable, the building feels safe and secure, and there's nice personal touches, like guidebooks in the rooms and a rooftop patio to relax on. Very small and intimate with a nice, family run feel. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great 5 night stay!

Really good located near Khaosan road but still far enough away. Just around the corner you have nice restaurants and coffees. Also close to 7-Eleven and the best massage in town (Darin spa). Close to the buses/ van that departures to koh Chang from Starbucks. Also really friendly staff and nice accommodation overall! Cosy and nice vibe.

Maybe little to thin walls so you can hear a lot of noises around the building. But nothing that really bothered us so much. After all it’s Bangkok so haha!

Hearty, perfectly located, calm and fairly priced place in Bangkok. The people running and working for this little backpacker gem are so friendly, obliging and helpful. They speak very good English. Always open for questions and advise. Located just a short walk from Kao San, some food stalls, cafes, Thai massages and shops close by. Also pier for express boat only a short walk. Better ask for a room with a window to the outside, these are really nice. Some on first floor or without a window are not as good, but still ok. Blue Chang doesn’t seem line a Party place, more for people who want to have old Bangkok and facilities nearby, but like it quiet and a bit more atmospheric. No breakfast when we were there. Nice patio to sit though. Good AC, bathroom clean. But don’t expect classic hotel features like hairdryer, room service or daily cleaning.

That we couldn’t stay a few more nights.

Good location, easy check in/out. Krishna, from the reception. is very kind and helpful with all information you need. Nice room, nice bed, very good AC, hot shower. Clean and next to a lot of good/cheap restaurants. 10 min walking from Khaosan Road.

As always we get a nice welcome at Blue Chang. The room is always clean and comfortable. Fridge, air con, hot shower and good WiFi. In a great area for restaurants and walking distance to Khaosan and all the area had s to offer. The only small thing is the pillows are too hard for me.
