This is not luxury , fancy place but simple hostel and I found it more that adequate. We stayed in the rooms with private bathrooms. Room were clean, big, functional, fresh towels and bedding provided, kettle and fridge. New, refurbished bathrooms and very nice showers. Bed was large and comfi. Staff was very accommodating responding to every requests. I found this place very clean and well maintained, including communal areas and shared facilities (( did not see dorms). Breakfast was basic but fresh. Good wi-fi. Location was perfect for us, 10 minutes from Khao San road on foot but far enough from a noise, old Bangkok, central, we did not aim for a tube access. Hostel is very quiet- this is a not party place and we liked it very much.

Positives: • Great value for money • Comfortable king-size bed • Excellent air conditioning • Central and convenient location • Quiet and peaceful environment Additional notes: The breakfast is à la carte (simple) Like many places in Thailand, the staff doesn’t speak English fluently, but they are extremely helpful and kind. With a little help from Google Translate, communication was never an issue. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a simple, comfortable, and well-located place to stay.

I highly recommend this place! 👌The owner, Kim, is incredibly friendly and helpful ❤️. Her charismatic personality makes this place perfect for both relaxation and remote work. The internet is fast, and there’s plenty of space to work. The rooms are air-conditioned, spacious, and clean. The hotel also features an air-conditioned restaurant serving delicious local cuisine and a cozy café with specialty coffee ☕️. The building is historic, beautifully restored by a local artist with a great sense of style 😍And the cherry on top is the swimming pool. I’ll definitely be coming back often!

Absolutely the best hostel to stay at if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle hostels around the corner in the main area of Khoasan. Very cute, easy to find via taxi OR train and bus. I got the train from the airport (58p) changed at Phaya Thai and then the bus from outside of a school which was 25p. I was in a female hostel room but just one other girl there very quiet was always out we kept ourselves to ourselves and other people in the other dorms and also private hotel rooms were very mindful respectful and quiet after midnight. It is very safe feeling and no one smoking like the other hostels around the corner. Key card entry rooms and a locker in each room. Amazing VALUE FOR MONEY! Would stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tepbunthom Hostel is a great place to stay in Bangkok. The location is excellent, close to the Democracy Monument and many attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with privacy curtains, personal lights, and electicity outlets. The common areas are nice, and there’s even a small pool to relax in. The only downside is the breakfast, which is very basic and could be better. Overall, it’s a good value for money with friendly staff and a convenient location!

The pool area is Beautiful, very tranquil and relaxing. It feels like you are in the jungle and it was fantastic to see the monkeys, chickens, 2 friendly dogs (who live on the grounds) and a big Komodo dragon roaming around. The free shuttle bus is handy, but the last bus is at 6pm, which is a too early. We stayed in the Deluxe double room which was very nice, although the interior could do with a refresh of paint and the windows look like they haven’t been cleaned it years 🫣. The bathrooms are very dated. The outside balcony area is beautiful and you can see so much detail had originally gone into making these mini Thai “house” style accommodations….its just a shame the upkeep has not been maintained over the years. That said, I would definitely stay here again as a place to relax and unwind. If the resort updated the bathrooms, cleaned and painted the rooms they could charge a lot more money as the location of this place is second to none

Really clean, quiet, not a social hostel which I liked after traveling for like 18 hours. Beds were comfy and each bed had an individual light you could switch on for yourself. Great aircon. The cafe downstairs did lovely iced coffees. Staff were always pleasant. Showers were good and bathrooms clean. Good location. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was great in that the street was quiet, but just something to consider if you are nervous walking home alone at night as there are not that many people around that area at night time.

This is a quirky place--it's a hostel, so one needs to keep one's expectations in check--but the lobby area and small breakfast room are well maintained and attractive enough. Once you leave the lobby though, you walk through a room filled with random junk, past the oddest swimming pool we have ever seen (about 4 feet wide, running the length of the building with no deck surrounding it), and up an open staircase that looks out on a rooftop strewn with rubbish. The room itself, though, was surprisingly nice-clean, spacious, with a full refrigerator, decent sized bathroom, comfortable bed, great AC, and a large window that looked out on the old wooden houses next door (which we thought was charming). The breakfast was adequate-basically scrambled eggs and fruit--but fine. The person who checked us in was friendly and helpful, but we never saw him again and the rest of the staff were pretty disengaged and cheerless. It's in a great location--within walking distance of the river, the Grand Palace, the Amulet Market etc. and the streets behind have a variety of good small restaurants and places to get massage and spa treatments. A decent place for a short stay and good value for the location.

If you can overlook the jumble of stuff in the back rooms and the unsightly staircase, it's a fine place for the money.

When I arrived the hostel was locked up. Was given no instructions on how to get and I had no WiFi to connect anyone. Luckily a guest was going in and let me. He helped me figure out where they left the key and instructions. staff were not particularly friendly, was confused at breakfast also. Also no hot water

This makes it an ideal choice, particularly for those not seeking pricey hotel alternatives. Different breakfast options were available, inclusive of vegetarian choices. Despite its compact size, the hostel is well-arranged. The staff are amiable during interactions, and their fantastic cafeteria is a dream come true for coffee enthusiasts! A gesture I greatly appreciated was their willingness to send my sunglasses, which I had left in the hostel's ground floor restroom, to my next hotel. While not particularly costly, these sunglasses held sentimental value for me. Remarkably, they offered this assistance without asking for anything in return. Truly exceptional and rare! Thanks!!!

I appreciate attention to detail, such as when I arrive at a location, I find it helpful when the staff acquaint me with the facility, its layout, and any specific instructions. I also value when they inquire if I need suggestions for anything. Their limited proficiency in English might have been a hindrance in this case.
