The location is so great. Love this vibrant little canal side neighbourhood just a stone's throw from crazy Khao San Road. Young and trendy with great cafes. Mam's House is a perfect base. The family there are so friendly and nice, it feels like home. The rooms are basic, but fine and very clean. Ours on this stay had been freshly painted. The price is good for Khaosan. Hot shower good. All you could want.

It was a little noisy in our 6th floor room from the bars below, but THAT noise was drowned out by our airconditioner, noiser than the street noise, and we had to turn off at night as it drove me crazy. Still, it's not healthy to sleep with air-conditioning. Last time we stayed here, we had a memory foam mattress. The mattress in this new room was a bit hard.

I like everything here. I got this when it’s discounted. The staff is very nice. He informed us everything and gave us drinks when we’ve arrived. The room look great according to the value. We recommend getting standard room instead of budget room. The comfort is much different! What I don’t like is the size of the bathroom that is small and shared with shower. The sound from the street is noisy. Recommending to get the room far from the street.

Staff was so kind. Location is perfect within walking distance to Khao San Road, but not so close to have the noise. It's along a peaceful river with food and smoothies just downstairs. We were able to store our bags after check out for free. Toilet paper, towels, and shampoo were provided. Nice rooftop area. AC worked great! We had a nice view of the river. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Wifi was horrible in our room at first, but we told the staff and they adjusted something to make it better. As long as we connected to the wifi right next to our door, we were fine and it covered the rest of the room.

The room was tidy and clean. It was adequate and was comfortable. It was not 5 stars, but I knew that when I booked it, it is a clean budget room. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Mam's House is perfect choice for budget accomodation. The location is great. It's at Samsen Road, just walking distance to many locations like Khaosan Road, Soi Rambuttri, Banglamphu Canal, Banglamphu Museum, Phra Atit Pier, Wat Bowonniwet, Wat Pho, Mahakan Fort, Phra Suken Fort, many more. This location easy to access by taxi, tuktuk, or bus. In the morning you can have breakfast by the river in front of lobby hotel and laundry service also there. Next to hotel there are tattoo studio, ATM, cafes. City view room is comfortable, I slept well during my stay although my room right facing the main road but it doesn't crowded. View from the rooftop also beautiful, you can see the city, river and the Rama Bridge. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful since I arrived. Thank you Boy and auntie! Would definitely recommend Mam's House and would like to stay here again when I visit Bangkok.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming which makes such a difference when you arrive at a hotel I think. There was a lot of people around downstairs eating, chatting which made it feel Homely. The room is basic but the hotel itself is very secure felt so safe here. And there is a lift which makes such a difference too!!

perfect budget and basic accommodation. but everything is provided with an a/c in the room. shower gel. towels. toilet paper. there is an elevator in the building. rooftop with an amazing view. the location was perfect, everything is walking distance. there is a small restaurant in front of the reception which is very handy for breakfast/lunch. 7/11 also just across the road. laundry service next door. Boy who works at the reception is super nice, friendly, helpful and always up for a good chat. I had a room facing the main road. it was not as noisy as people say in the reviews. I slept fine for 3 nights there. plus in the middle of the night there is almost to none traffic driving anyway.

We stay here every time we come to Bangkok. There is also a restaurant down near the lobby. The prices there are less expensive than others around. Nice and quite place to stay. About a 5 minute walk to Khao San.

In such low price, this was the best hostel in the area (we checked two other ones). It’s clean, in perfect location and has rooftop.

AC was very hard to set up. One room doesn’t have a window, we booked it, but we were able to change it for one with window facing river.
