The hostel is located very closely to Khaosan road as well as the grand palace and major temples of bangkok. Plenty of streetfood in the surrrouding area. Decent beds and a good feeling of security.

The rooms could be a little cleaner (dust buildup) and the shower/sink area could use some repairs so everything works as intended again.

The staff (Maria and Cherry) is super friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a good location, close to restaurants and bars. The rooms are big and comfortable.

The toilets we're not clean. I stayed two nights and I think nobody cleanen them during my stay.

The hostel is really amazing and the highlights are Winnie and Cherry. They will welcome you like no other people will do. They are very helpful and take care of every bits and pieces. They will suggest you the best place to eat and hangout. Also they will plan your trip. The first thing happened to us after entering hostel was a beautiful and wonderful person will welcome you with all the excitement and there only you will feel that this is the place you want to leave. Then there is Winne who will treat you like his own family. Took me to best hangout places in Bangkok. Words may not justify how I feel about this place so I recommend you to experience it first hand.

The host, Cherry, was absolutely amazing, so funny and friendly! She made us feel like a family as soon as we arrived with her loving attitude and willing to help! We arrived expecting a small room for the night as we planned to leave for Cambodia the next day but our stay was so much better than we thought - Cherry gave us 2 complimentary Muay Thai tickets for a big Bangkok stadium and we ended up having the most incredible, completely spontaneous night thanks to Sloth Hostel. The facilities and location of Sloth are also great - it's so conveniently located right by Khao San and you really can't fault this place when the staff are so great!!! Thank you so much Cherry, you really made our stay special ❤️

Loved it! The ladies at reception are excellent; especially Cherry! They make you feel like your friends from the start. I had a loud room the first night due to a snorer and they switched my room the next day with no hassle. The beds are comfortable, clean and with light, plug-ins and curtains. Own locker. A/C worked great!! There is a good rooftop hang out area and a lounge area at reception. They also allowed me to take a shower after checkout as I was taking a night bus. Oh and Free Coffee all day!!!! And candy!! Wifi worked great!

The bathrooms need more attention. Drains were very dirty and no toilet paper a lot of the time. Great pressure in showers though and hot water. Rooftop needs cleaning and tidying up.

One of the most welcoming hostels I’ve ever been to. Cherry at reception tells us it’s our second home, and she is right! Dorm beds are capsule style meaning plenty of space and privacy even in a shared room. Location is close to Khaosan road, but not so close that you can’t get a good nights rest! There is also a daytime market on the street outside and around the corner every day except Mondays with lots of food, clothes, jewelry, etc. The neighborhood is very walkable, but it is also easy to get a Grab, taxi, or Tuktuk from anywhere nearby. I would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful, and welcoming home base for seeing Bangkok!

We loved our stay at the Sloth Hostel! We stayed in a double private room - had air conditioning, really comfy bed, plenty space, a shared bathroom, it was just what we needed. The staff are 10/10 , so friendly, welcoming, they call the hostel your “second home” which is nice. Laundry service, roof terrace, great location, coffee facilities, nice chill out area at reception. Really do recommend staying at Sloth Hostel!!

Felt the toilets didn’t flush properly sometimes and were out of action but it was fine, just meant using a different floor!
