This hostel completelly surpassed my expectations! It was super clean, staff was nice and also everyone in hostel was super kind. There was this kind energy all around. I felt like all people staying there, were my friends because everyone passing you by would smile at you :)) Also, they have an amazing system where you store your stuff in the locker which is in common area and the room where you sleep has only beds inside, so that way it is super quiet because you only go there if you wanna sleep or take a nap so I slept like a baby!! Another plus is that your key is basically wristband with a chip so you dont have to worry about losing your key because you literally got it on you at all times!! Absolutelly loved my stay.

- The location is good for exploring the Khao San Road/temple area (but do keep in mind there are no MRT/BTS stations here which does make it a bit harder to navigate the rest of the city). - Beds are spacious. - Bathroom is clean and has body wash and shampoo. - Towel is included. - There are social activities everyday, so meeting people should be easy.

I’d recommend staying in a dorm with as few people as possible for a more comfortable stay. Since my stay in a bigger dorm was unfortunately less comfortable compared to the last time I stayed here in a small dorm: - There was a guy that entered the dorm searching through people their beds which made me feel unsafe (staff was very helpful luckily). - Very bad smell in my dorm multiple times, both weed and durian. - There was basically no wifi in my dorm.

The Hostel is located very comfortably close to Khao San / Ran Butri, but outside the area which makes it less noisy. It is usually very clean. Beds capsules offer privacy and force people to not intetact in the rooms. Same counts for lockers being outside of the dorms. THIS IS A BLESSING for being in a hostle! Neither will you get annoyed by endless zips and rustles from somone packing his bag at 6:00 in the morning nor by people comming in chatting after late nights. They have a nice roof terrance with a small bar and some cool social activities that help getting to know people. The vibe totally depends on who is there. Lately it was pretty full of younger travlers in their early 20s that I had seen. The staff is extremely nice and helpfull with everything, only positive to say.

I have seen comments that complained about noise from the restaurant below and claimed there was a club. I cannot share this experience that there would be too much noise, neither there is definitly not a club. Also that it would be a problem that the lockers are outside the doorms and that they had to sort their stuff in the common area. ... you are in a Hostel for very low prices, do you expect private pool amd breakfast service ? Then book yourself somethimg accordingly and let the roomservice wake you up at 8:00 am with a coffee and a happy massage, ffs.

Loved everything about this hostel. Bathrooms were constantly being cleaned. Showers had shampoo and body wash. There was a fan facing the mirrors which made putting on makeup easy. Receptionists were all very kind and ready to assist with any questions. Beds were comfortable and I really liked that each capsule had its own ventilation unit. I tend to get hot when I sleep so turning that on was an easy fix. I liked that the lockers were located outside of the rooms which meant zippering in peace and keeping the rooms tidy. There were social activities planned each night and there was a bar on the rooftop. The hostel is located less than a 5 min walk to the chaos of khao san road. There were a lot of cafes and restaurants around the hostel as well. No complaints and definitely would recommend this hostel to everyone!

No late check out option even tho they had availability. My overnight bus was at 10pm so that was a little bit annoying as I was willing to pay a small fee for the late check out.

- There are multiple activites every day from tours to social activities. Unfortunately I was sick during my stay so couldn’t join them but they seemed really nice. - A lot of space to sit and chill. - Beds are nice and overall the place feels clean. - Atmosphere is good, social but no pressure if you just want to chill. - Location is good if you want to be near Khao San Road. - Staff is nice and can give good recommendations.

- There will be noise and music during the night, but that’s fair staying at this location. - It’s a bit humid in the rooms and hallways which sometimes causes a nasty smell.

I recently stayed at this hostel and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a welcoming and friendly staff, and the pleasant aroma at the reception set a great first impression. The capsule rooms are thoughtfully designed. Despite fitting many capsules, the space doesn’t feel cramped. Each mattress is comfortable and spacious, providing a cosy spot to rest. The privacy curtains, individual lights, and even a fan inside each capsule made it incredibly easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. Location-wise, it offers both advantages and minor drawbacks. It’s conveniently close to Khao San Road, allowing easy access to vibrant nightlife and street food, yet remarkably quiet—perfect for restful nights. While it’s not near a metro station, which can make exploring distant parts of the city slightly more challenging, this is a small inconvenience that wouldn’t deter me from staying here again. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for its comfort, friendly atmosphere, and excellent location.

The capsules are super clean and comfortable. They feel private with the curtain and it was nice to be able to sleep in a queen bed in the dorms. The hostel itself is very social and has a lot of activities to get to know people. The location is ideal, you’re just a short walk from Khao San but you’re situated still in a nice neighborhood with lots of street food and restaurants.

The bag situation is quite messy because you can’t bring bags into the dorms at all. If your bags are small enough they will fit in your locker but otherwise there’s pretty much just a big pile of bags and you have to take it out on the floor whenever you need anything.

My stay at Khaosan Social Capsule was truly exceptional and incredibly comfortable. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Harry made the experience unforgettable with a sunset boat trip, his incredible magic tricks, acoustic performances, and spontaneous singing, all while maintaining a smooth professionnel approach. Gin and Sherly were amazing, ensuring everyone felt included and had a great time. Thank you girls for being super hospital and caring every time. Win’s always smily and cooperative his friendly readiness to assist with anything were so very much appreciated. No belly dance classes, kidding all was good, and also Yoga everyday at 5pm

I loved the staff! Really felt welcome and at home right away. I arrived super early yet they were able to accommodate me in the common area where I could rest a bit and provided me with a towel, was nice to take a hot shower after a long journey! It’s quiet there at night especially if you consider the location. Which is super central and is right by the Khao San night market. You won’t be disappointed! This place has a rooftop, free yoga classes, I met lovely people there. If you want to enjoy your stay in Bangkok look no further!

I stayed at Khaosan Social Hostel for 4 days and 3 nights, and it truly lives up to its name! This hostel is perfect for travelers who want to meet new people, as they offer various social activities like yoga, group dinners, and bar hopping. If you’re traveling alone and looking to make friends while exploring Thailand, this is a great place to stay. That said, if you prefer a more relaxed experience, you’re not pressured to join the activities. I personally had a comfortable stay—slept like a baby every night, and the noise levels were just right.

However, I did notice a couple of times that the room smelled like smoke. I’m not sure if someone was smoking inside, but it was noticeable. Overall, it’s a great hostel with a good balance between social and chill vibes. Just something to keep in mind!
