This hostel is run by Danee, a wonderful Thai lady who does everything herself and works really hard to accommodate all her guests. We had a room with great air con and private bathroom, the eclectic decor and bedding were clean and comfortable. Danee even makes a little packed lunch breakfast for each guest left outside the room in the morning, there are facilities to toast the bread and make coffee plus mineral water always available. This hostel is laid back and next to a cannabis shop so you can sit out front with Danee and her many lovely cats and enjoy a coffee. The little row of cafes nearby are full of super friendly people making great local food and good coffee at a great price There is a train station 5 minute walk from the hostel to take you all across town. Hate to see people leave bad reviews for these budget places when you can see that all love and effort goes in to running them, Danee goes out of her way to help her guests and if you want to pay hundreds of pounds per night you can stay at the Hilton.

At first thought it was a little hard to navigate in this area by cab because of heavy traffic but train station very close, 5 min walk, air conditioning, affordable and easy to use takes you anywhere you want to go.

The location is really good. It's a 15 minutes walking distance from Surasak BTS Train Station. It is like a normal house. The furnitures and wallpapers are old, but it's fine since it gives you the feeling of home. They will give you free breakfast, free coffee, and free snacks! This is the best stay I had so far.

1. The bed cover got some holes from cigarettes burns. 2. The shared bathroom and shower could use an exhaust. 3. The toilet in the middle has a really tight space. 4. The floor and walls are old and wooden, so it creaks. Sometimes, you might also hear noise from people talking.

A great stay for our family of four, especially convenient for elderly members. The ground floor room was air-conditioned with a private bathroom, bidet, and hot shower. The owner was helpful and responsive. Safe location near 7-Eleven and Surasak BTS. Free breakfast included. Comfortable and highly recommended for families. The hostel is near the Surasak BTS Station, around a 3-4 minute walk to the reception area but the owner will lead you to the back alley since there is no reception area to the building itself. there is also a 711 near the BTS Station and restaurants near the place. No lift, but I don't mind since I used to climb stairs. The room is spacious, no TV but there is a strong WIFI I could use. Toiletries, water, electric kettle are provided. There is also a kitchen and some basic appliances you can use like a fridge, and toasters, and unlimited coffee is also provided. Breakfast is very delicious, healthy, and carefully prepared. But what I like about this hostel is the hostel attendee/ owner is very friendly, and kind, and she warmly welcomes the guest. The vibe is very homey and the owner is very motherly when she approaches the guest. Looking forward to staying again soon when I visit Bangkok.

Since it is quite old, I hope, the owner should hire a hostel staff so that it will maintain the cleanliness of the hostel. And since the owner is quite old already, maybe she should stay in the reception area and let the staff clean the hostel.

Danee exceeded expectations. As soon as I entered the room, I liked the energy of the place and its locale. Room is comfortable and spacious, with a sitting area and balcony. Bed was large and decently comfortable - I slept well. Free breakfast - eggs, cereal, banana - was a bonus. The area is more local and hence excellent - a short walk from interesting neighbourhoods. Pleasantly close to Jam Bar!

For breakfast, would be nice to cut down on single-use plastic

Danee is on a quiet street where you immediately feel part of the community with a group of retirees always in the same place playing cards, Karan selling freshly barbequed chicken tikkas in front of his home, a neighborhood music club, and Nanu the owner servicing her rooms up and down the street and keeping them spotlessly clean.

The landlord was very accommodating. All our request are well granted upon telling it to her. The room was so good we can work well at night. Really recommended this place and surely will book again on our next visit in Bangkok, Thailand.

I stayed in a private room with ensuite bathroom and found it amazingly charming. Room is clean, came with a balcony even, towels, toilet paper, bes sheets - everything is being provided. The price was good, the location is great, yet it’s very quiet. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, filtered water, instant coffee and tea are available for free.

The host was really kind and helpful. She made sure we were comfortable and also accommodated our additional requests. The place was small but the locality was convenient. Close to the metro. We also enjoyed the food in a small family run restaurant next to the hostel. Thank you.
