The location of the hotel was perfect enabling us to explore Bangkok thoroughly by public transport. We appreciated the stylish decor but most importantly the superb food provision. The rooftop bar was a great experience, so was the exceptional Italian food at the Medici restaurant, but the breakfast offer was simply the best. It was marvellous to start our day with such a worlwide choice of flavours and options all freshly sourced and beautifully made. There is a French flair to the place and it showed through the quality morning pastries - delicious!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The decor may be a bit dark and in places a little tired, but we were so pleased not to be a non-descript standard business hotel. The outdoor pool, the comfort of the spacious room, the cleanliness and especially the location was just what we were after. The quality of the food was something else. Recommended wholeheartdely.

The comfiest bed, bed linen is sublime, the rooms are spacious and excellent air con roll top claw foot bath, marble floors and tops. Tv couldn’t get a signal but we weren’t fussed about watching just nice to have background noise sometimes. This is one of my fave hotels in the world and keep returning so must be good ! It is starting to look a little tired though. In a quieter part of the city lumpini park is only half a mile away and 15 - 20 min walk to MBK though. 7 eleven opposite. Get plenty of bottled water free from hotel.

We got asked why we hadn’t paid for breakfast at the breakfast table two mornings in a row, when we checked in we were told it had been booked and could pay when we check out. A little embarrassing and an oversight which could have been avoided. Price of drinks in roof top bar however expected for a 5 star hotel.

Hotel Muse is my absolute favorite property in all of Thailand! I had the pleasure of staying here 15 years ago on the suggestion of a friend, after my son graduated from college. This stay was even better than I had remembered! Having been exhausted from long travel,& late arrival, I was greeted by the most elegant, dapper front Hotel staff, including the exquisite concierge, Antonio, with a most refreshing drink in the most creative fashion. I later learned that one of his young staff even refers to him as: Superman, which I later understood why. Antonio can solve any situation. This hotel is designed from top to bottom as a speakeasy with beautiful wood, exquisite fresh orchids, everywhere, and perhaps my favorite rooftop infinity pool, which is never crowded. It was a dream to swim at night under a full moon, watching the white puffy Georgia O’Keeffe clouds meander in the sky with colored lights from all the many skyscrapers. The rooms at this hotel are extremely well appointed: black marble with white veining on the floors, and walls in the bath. A beautiful clawfoot bathtub as well as walk-in shower can be viewed from the bedroom area thanks to an enormous glass plate window separating. Exquisitely, comfortable bed, superb linens, excellent cleaning staff, they even have arranged old leather suitcases as a chest of drawer. The buffet breakfast goes on and on. I happen to have lost my favorite Panama hat during an exquisite hidden Bangkok Canal tour when we stopped off to visit a number of artist houses. With one quick call, Antonio magically found my hat, had his Messenger deliver it back to the hotel in mint condition. This concierge Antonio went out of his way for other guests as well as I heard from other visitors. He is the jewel on the crown of this hotel. The rooftop bar has truly been transformed into an old speakeasy with fabulously, dressed servers in flapper, outfits and fringe, with drinks served in the most amazing fashion.

This is my go to in Bangkok! I love this hotel!

Rooftop Bar and their cocktail selection was phenomenal. Great breakfast Buffett selection but they moved the breakfast Buffett from the 19th floor to the basement and removed the bloody Mary’s from their breakfast menu.

They would benefit to have clearer signage and policy about their Marijuana policy in their smoking lounge. Would have liked to know this upon check-in to avoid any misunderstandings and embarrassment.

The decor was fabulous, the lobby, the room,the elevator. Every hotel has super contemporary style which is so boring, this old English style was magnificent . Staff were so courteous, very efficient. I would stay over and over again

Housekeeping was the only thing i didn't like, they just did the bed, had previous occupants hair in the bath tub and so i didn't use it and that hair was there the whole 3 weeks i was there meaning they didn't wipe it. I don't think they clean the rooms thoroughly just make beds and change tea cups if they are used

I paid a 6,000 baht deposit upon check-in. It’s now been over two weeks since I checked out, and the deposit has still not been returned. I’ve contacted the hotel multiple times with no proper response. This kind of delay is unacceptable and left me with a very negative impression. On top of that, there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the room that made the stay uncomfortable. I would advise guests to be very careful when paying deposits and make sure to get proper confirmation.

This hotel is stunning, the pool is gorgeous and never too full. Yummy breakfast. I left my jewelry in the hotel and they were very helpful in trying to get it back to me. Love the location, and it’s so pretty and well decorated.

The elevators take forever between floors - I had read that too, and it seems silly until you’re rushing to dinner or to get back to your room. (One was out of service due to the earthquake, that’s fine, but the normal one moved slowly.) Rooms are dark, but I knew this going into it, and I didn’t mind.
