The moment you walked into the lobby, there was an intoxicating smell of oudh. The staff were friendly, and our family suite was more than spacious with a kitchen, stove top, and fridge. The pool was ok, the gym looked new, however there were renovations taking place so we did not get to see anything else. Other than that, it was set in the Middle East district of Bangkok, which was also beautiful.

There were a few staff who were a bit nosy, always asking where we were going when having a smoke, and when we ordered a Nanny, the front desk interrogated us about who this person was and whether it was a friend after we specified it was a Nanny. The tour desk was hopeless - he failed to tell us that it was a holy day when we attended the royal palace to see the temples which were closed - and although he kept trying to upsell the floating market tour, the hotel provided probably the worst tour guide

Location is great and staff is very attentive, helpful and polite. Room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. Great to get 4 free bottles of water as the two other hotels usually fall short especially if you want to have some coffee or tea.

We just bought an EV and this was the first longer trip. The hotel informed me that they do have charging stations. The concierge was very helpful and followed us up to the charging stations as he was also curious as he had never seen them used. Unfortunately, the chargers only provide 7 kWh. We only needed to top up the charge but it still took us about 6 hours. They use a service for the stations with the power costing 2x what it does on a normal charging station and 100THB per hour if you charge between 8AM and 10PM. You do get some discounts in the hotel as an incitement which was nice but not used by us. If we come back we will find a fast charger which takes about 20 min and have a full battery when we arrive at the hotel.

Excellent location - close proximity to major sights / scene of the city. Great hospitality from the staff with great experience with amazing food served. Standards remain high despite last visit 3 years ago.

Amazing hotel but the locality is quite near the crazy nightlife of Nana district while still safe to walk at night - not recommended for those with children or single women walking about. Nonetheless still much safer than many cities

I loved how hospitable the staff is from the doorman to the cleaning staff and the receptionists they were all very helpful and very friendly felt very welcomed. Also how clean the hotel rooms are and the food . Breakfast was great with many choices.

My best ever breakfast in a hotel, prime location, all staff members played a part in making stay wonderful. Convenience of 24 hour gym.

Not a major thing but the sushi restaurant is a bit overpriced for the quality of food, lighting can be improved for rooms it was a bit too dark for my liking

The decor and staffing was excellent. But, the room, although clean and well decorated was not big. It was also low in the building, so the "city view" became a view of the side of the adjacent building. So, as this was quite expensive I did not consider the stay value for money.

It was hard to know what the facilities were, and where they were. An hotel guide in the room would have been useful

The renovation part, which is the second time in a JW Marriott this year - guess bad luck for me! However, the hotel ensured to cover the renovation with alternatives options to spa and pool

We came to eat once at Nami, Tommy and the restaurant manager were very nice with excellent service, because of this first impression we decided to book also a room for our next stay in Bangkok. We were welcomed by Game, at the reception, which, finally, give us a tour of the room, spoke English Infront of my Thai wife which I found very polite. Not everyone understands the importance to speak the same language in a group of people. Also very good personalized service. As we visit bkk, and try different hotels, this people are doing our stay a wonderful experience and surly we will be back again. Thanks also people at the Manatthan bar and friendly HK See you soon
