The hotel is beautiful. It’s in a fantastic location right on the river with great views. The staff are wonderful; very warm, friendly, and helpful and kindly arranged treats for my husband’s birthday.

Considering the price per night, I honestly can’t believe that breakfast isn’t included!

Everything is perfect...except maybe the not really spacious toilet/shower compartment in the bathroom we had. Noticeably, there is a lot of staff really everywhere. If one requires help, there is always staff close by. There are absolutely no waiting times in any situation, not at check-in, check-out, at breakfast, valet service..nowhere. The furniture and interior looks as if they had just been installed. The location is right next to the Chao Phraya River with an unobstructed view to the opposite river bank. There is also a free shuttle boat service to the opposite river bank. The hotel might not provide the biggest rooms or the fanciest interior, but the level of service is unmatched. If you have the money, go for it once.

Nothing, except...the location of the hotel is close to the river which brings with it, that it is a bit of a drive and might take some time especially during rush hour to reach the city center or one of the bigger shopping malls, especially since no public transportation is close by.

We finished up 3 weeks of travel through Southeast Asia with a few, much needed, pampered days at the Mandarin. Everything we impeccable; the food, the drinks, the pool, the jazz club and all the staff. They went above and beyond when they gave us a very late check-out for our very late flight. It was well worth the expense.

I felt disappointed that due to seasonality some restaurants were closed especially their signature Thai when we stopped over in Bangkok to enjoy Thai food!

I had a wonderfull small holiday at Mandarin. It was a first experience for us at this hotel group and for sure we will try the Mandarin in other cities from now on. We had a deluxe premier room and it was very spacious, very clean, large bathroom. I appreciated the treats we received when we entered the room (fruits and candies), a personalized hand-written note, the butler’s 24h service, the sound system, the beach/pool bag… We asked for a specific higher-floor room with view towards the Icon Siam Mall and we received just that! It felt that we were trully taken care of! The pool was a good retreat after visiting the city with a perfect blend of private and nature. The ice-cream “on the house” offered at noon was a cool bonus. We could use the facilities and pool untill afternoon when we left for the airport and it was a great rest before the flight. We rented a car with deuver for Ayutthaya and it was great. The driver Kid always offered us cooling cold napkins with great smell when we finished visiting temples. He was a good guide and we had the most one could do in this 7 hour tour. Breakfast is delicious and with a variety of foods. Omlette was delicious! The boat to cross to the mall is a big plus! … and it is very nice to just take a ride. Loved everything!

The view is superb and the room is big and comfortable. The breakfast is very good in quality and variety. The atmosphere around common facilities are very good surrounded by plants. Room service is also good. Staff are kind and the response is very fast.

One thing I am concerned about is the lack of explanation on Bose speaker in the room. Of course, if we asked the butler, he would be willing to explain, but at least, some explanation should be given.

with nice Chao Praya River View.

no consistency of house keeping, the most of the restaurants don’t open daily & we couldn’t try their food during our stay.

Excellent 5 star hotel with quality, service and charisma on the banks of the river. Amazing food beautiful rooms and friendly helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend. I personally love the boat ride to the second part of the hotel facilities 2 restaurants, gym and tennis courts across the river, but if that is too far there are plenty of restaurants on the main entrance side of the river - great choice and great food.
