I had a catastrophic beginning to our getaway when I misplaced my wallet, thanks to the staff at Mercure Bangkok Siam, that was the only dip in an otherwise amazing getaway. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were very cheerful and efficient. Within a few minutes, we were given the keycards to our room. The room was as pictured; spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. There was no smell, and the toilets were pristine as we entered (goodjob housekeeping!) A reasonably stock minibar was a nice touch, and all the amenities provided worked fine. We had a nice view of the city from both the living room and the bed room. Breakfast was provided, and it was not only adequate but tasty. The location is a plus point, easy to hail Taxis, Grab, Bolt or hop on the local transport (MRT?) which is just a stone's throw away from the hotel door. For nearby shops, there is a 7-11 on the ground floor, and another bigger 7-11 about 50m away from the hotel. There are also some street vendors selling fruits and grilled meats in the evenings. The food sold is cheap and tasty. PS I hope im getting their names correctly; a BIG shoutout to Dej, Tidtee, and Jean for all the wonderful service they provided. I felt as though I was treated as a family member; the way they went about to assist me after my predicament.

About the hotel? NOTHING! Maybe I didn't like that i couldn't spend more time there!

Firstly staff were so friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations for night markets the receptionist were so sweet and eager to help us. Secondly, check in and check out was fast and easy, no issues there. Thirdly, location was the best easy to move around. Especially if you’re here for shopping the malls are right outside the hotel all in walking distance The room itself was large enough for my teenage daughter and I. The bed was perfect we slept very well. The toilet was also clean and spacious to put all our skincare. Bring a smoker myself, I was glad to know that there was a smoking area on the receptionist floor,was spacious and even raining I was dry. For the breakfast, the options was very amazing. The coffee was good and the bread area was delicious. My daughter was in love with their miso soup.

Excellent location, right in front of BTS National Stadium. It’s also close to shopping areas like MBK Center, BACC, Siam Discovery, and Siam Center. Siam Paragon is one skytrain ride away. If you want to explore the riverside, the ferry station is on the same skytrain line, just stop at Saphin Taksin BTS. There is also a 7-11 on the same building. There are some food options near the area like 7-11, A Journey Cafe, McDonald’s in Holiday Inn Express, food stalls right in front of the hotel in the afternoon if you prefer to stay within the area, but you can go to MBK Center where there are lots of food choices - there’s a food court where you can sample authentic Thai and international dishes. There are massage options nearby as well, very close to the hotel. Nice view of the city from the property. There’s a balcony at the lobby area. Gym area on the 29F gives you a 360 view of the area. Bed and sheets are comfortable enough. Kudos to the staff - they are very friendly and helpful especially Nhui from the GF.

The rooms could use some TLC - the shower area doesn’t drain as quickly as it should be. You’d need to wait for 10-15 minutes before it goes down. Carpet, curtains, and sofa are dusty. Not a lot ot food choices in the hotel.

Prime location close to everything! The hotel is just steps from the metro, and within easy walking distance of malls and restaurants. The staff are very cooperative and helpful. Since the hotel starts from the 9th floor, it’s well above the street noise, so you can enjoy a peaceful stay. There’s also a mini market and a company tour desk on the ground floor, which is very convenient for sightseeing and daily needs. I would definitely stay here again!

I was disappointed that I had to ask for complimentary water bottles every day instead of them being replenished automatically. Also, the room did not have any drawers for storage, which I found surprising for a 4-star hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again, but I hope these small issues can be improved.

I was served by the lovely Fah at the Eighth Restaurant after a long day of travelling. Feeling adventurous, I tried the local cuisine Khao Soi, forgetting that I did not normally take to spicy food that well. The dish was fiery hot and I had to ask for plenty of chilled iced water to wash it down. Fah was rather concerned and informed the kitchen staff. Later, Rang, the F & B supervisor specially changed a new dish with a more diluted gravy for me. This gave me a good impression of the hotel from the first day. Apart from the great location, comfortable room and delicious breakfast, the Mercure Siam Bangkok Hotel felt like a sanctuary amidst the busy traffic and sweltering heat of this cosmopolitan city. From the reception staff, the restaurant staff to the bellman, they exemplified the true meaning of hospitality in the land of smiles. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends.

As Mercure Hotel shared the building with ibis Hotel, it was confusing for guests. A signage at the main entrance to tell the guests that the hotel reception is at the ninth floor would be helpful.

We are vegetarians. There were very few vegetarian options in the international buffet breakfast. However the chef did try to make some noodles or rice dish for us. All the staff were polite and helpful. I want to commend a few of them - Chef Art, restaurant staff Fah and Patcha, Bellmen Joke, Toto, Aum, Nhui, and reception staff Ellie and Maxx. They answered all our questions patiently and attended well to any of our requests. The location is very central and convenient with a BTS train station at the doorstep, with malls like Siam Discovery and MBK Center very close by, a 24-hours 7-Eleven at the doorstep, being only one train station away from larger malls like Siam Paragon and CentralWorld. It is also well connected to Suvarnabhumi International Airport by train.

This is a suggestion for improvement. Please look into it. Since the hotel is catering to ‘international’ customers, they could include vegetarian dishes in the Asian foods/hot foods section. Except for cereal and bread, salad and fruits, everything was non-vegetarian.

National stadium bts station is right at your door step. One stop away from siam (siam paragon) where you can just cross over to the opposite side on the same platform to take the train to chit lom (central world) that is another stop away. Quiet and peaceful place to stay for families. Surroundings are not as busy, congested and rowdy like siam and chit lom, away from the bustling areas. Hotel is located along the main road so the taxi or grab driver can reach you easily. The road is not as congested as siam and chit lom so you won’t get stuck in the jam and can get a taxi/car easily. Basically we used the bts to go to siam, chit lom, thong lor and other popular city areas on the light green line, and if we needed to go to chinatown or places that are away from these areas, we would take a taxi/grab from the hotel/national stadium bts.

Room could have better lighting. It was a bit dim despite switching on all the lights.

Once again, we had a great stay at Mercure Bangkok Siam. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and all our requests were met. We stayed on a high floor with the best view to watch the fireworks. We had an issue with the lock in our room, but it was fixed very quickly. The reception staff was friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. The bathroom was functional, and housekeeping was done every day. We had requested connecting rooms, which were provided always a great option when traveling with family. The rooms we stayed in were perfect in every way. I'll definitely come back!

I initially booked just one night at Mercure Bangkok Siam for a short city stopover, but the experience completely won me over—I ended up adding extra nights! The location is unbeatable, with the BTS station just steps away and Siam’s best shopping and food spots all within walking distance. My room was cozy, modern, and offered a lovely view of the city skyline. What truly stood out was the warm, professional service—every staff member I encountered was kind, helpful, and made me feel truly welcome. It became more than just a hotel stay; it was a peaceful retreat in the heart of a vibrant city. Highly recommended!

Location was good, 7-11 directly below the hotel was convenient. Had to keep indicating the drop-off point as National Stadium Station Exit 1 on Grab though, as Mercure BKK Siam Hotel does not show up on Grab as a drop-off point.

The stock of toiletries was incomplete as the toothbrushes and toothpaste were missing, so we had to buy those on our first day there. We simply thought that perhaps it wasn't complementary so we didn't raise anything, until our 4th day when the free toothbrushes and toothpaste sets magically appeared after housekeeping..
