This was the third time we chose this cute hotel. The first time we fell completely in love with the place and the location. The second time some things had changed, like the different food trucks with traditional Thai breakfast were gone. This time also the decorations were less abundant and the whole place feels it can need an update, it’s becoming a bit run down. Still it’s cute, the staff very friendly, the garden nice, the location lovely local (with 7 Eleven very close, a fantastic temple and the Thewes Pier) and the rooms pleasant enough.

We didn’t like the room we first got on the left side of the corridor. No balcony and no view. Ask for a room on the right side, so much nicer! The beds are really really hard, too much for me. The breakfast is ok, but quite expensive. So are the croissants. We miss the food truck breakfast so much! Our room showed water leakage damage.

I loved everything. The entire hotel is stunning. A great place to hang out all day, the cafe downstairs is amazing, great food and drinks, the lounge area is very comfortable. I had a balcony with a view of the giant Buddha which was a real treat. It was very quiet, I couldn’t hear any outside noise from the road! The staff were lovely and accommodating! I would recommend this place to everyone! It is about 20 minutes walk to Khao San road, or a short taxi/tuk tuk. I walked around in the night and felt completely safe too.

Lots of light comes in as the curtain is very thin, so bring a sleep mask! The only other thing I would suggest to the staff is to put up some hooks for towels. Otherwise everything was great.

The place is quiet! It has a beautiful , leafy courtyard, strong wi-fi, helpful staff. A hidden gem in old Bangkok. The place has a homely feel without coming across as tacky or affected.

There is no TV (a plus maybe), no fridge, safe snd no wardrobe. Restaurant is a pricey. There is a more reasonably priced cafe just outside the front gate.

I really appreciated this place because in addition to the croissants and other benefits of staying with baking aficionados, the neighborhood gives you a non touristy vibe. Street food options excellent, corner restaurant superior, easy walk to the ferry and commuter boats, and check out that FREE electric boat that gets you almost all the way to Chinatown! Good location for the train station, and the ubiquitous non aircon wooden floored Bus 53 (it's everywhere you want to be!) just a block away!

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Someone in our group got sick and they helped us get to the hospital, extend our stay and were generally amazing. The hotel itself has a great relaxation area where we had lunch, lounged, and read books whenever we weren't out and about. We didn't try the food in the hotel itself, although it looked very nice, but there are some amazing restaurants within walking distance. At night there's also great street food nearby.

A very minor point that likely won't affect future travelers: There was some construction sound, but it wasn't overwhelming, only periodic and only during the late morning and afternoon. In the early morning and evening it was gone, and even in the afternoon it wasn't constant.

Very cute hotel :) located away from a busy road which we very much appreciated. Also close to canal where you can take a boat. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful, even helping with Organization of the next steps of our trip. Place feels authentic, very green, calm with nice background music. It’s an peaceful experience. We are glad we chose it. We stayed for one night before leaving Bangkok. Overall good impression from the stay.

Our air condition in the room 202 was little bit broken. It worked, but not very well. There is no fridge, tv nor digital safe in the room. Not that we need it, just comparing the room with our other hotel where we had all three and the room was cheaper. If you don’t need these for your stay, definitely worth it.

This has become one of our most memorable and favorite hotels anywhere -really more like a bed & breakfast homestay. Classic vintage furniture, hanging lanterns, ceiling fans, plant-life, wall murals, retro decor almost like a museum, makes you feel like you're in a film set in Bangkok 1960. Original architectural charm throughout, open-air lobby lounge cafe, phenomenal made to order breakfast, fruit bowls, coffee beverages, and buttery French pastries (wow) made daily at the on-site bakery kitchen. Big, comfortable beds, electric-saving auto lighting & a/c, our room had a small terrace overlooking the neighborhood, laundry machines on site for guest's use, small fee includes eco-friendly soap, welcome messages at the entry gate, quiet, peaceful, residential, old-town, accessible location, family friendly, not a party hotel. Nearby a beautiful river and bridge lit up at night, street food vendors nearby, there's a corner 7-11 for anything else required. We had to checkout very early for a flight when we left, and staff arranged very reasonable taxi service for us. We also had to miss breakfast that morning so they packed us takeaway sandwiches for the plane!

LOVED it all, everything perfect for us - for guests who need to know though: no elevator, small building (3 stories only), but be prepared to walk up to your room - there is a dumbwaiter lift for heavy suitcases. Common areas are mostly open air, no a/c. No mini-fridge in the room, but a communal fridge & fresh water stations for guest's use on the 2nd floor. No bathtub fyi, and shower is in the same room as the toilet, with no curtain or glass separation- meaning the toilet seat will get wet. Hot water took a little while to reach temperature

The staff were friendly and arranged a late taxi pickup from the airport. They have 24 hs reception available. There's a restaurant with breakfast and lunch, reasonable prices, and a few vegetarian options. They have a washing machine and drier. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a lovely outdoor sitting area. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with private bathroom.

Not many public transport options are available nearby.

Literally everything was amazing. All the staff were incredibly lovely and accomodating, the food was 10/10, the outdoor lounging area was sooo chill, but the best part of all.. the hand pained art on all the walls. I’ve been on the road for a month now and this place takes the cake

Nothing bad

The hotel is extremely clean and very nicely decorated, exactly as it appears on pictures. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is excellent quality.

Wi-fi is slow. Not all rooms are equally nice (even in the same price level).
