I spent four days at Zee Thai Hostel and had a wonderful experience. What stood out the most were the staff; they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to assist me, patiently explaining the nuances of using public transportation to reach various attractions, rather than simply suggesting a taxi. I found their passion and kindness especially valuable as I navigated unfamiliar surroundings. The hostel itself was clean, well-maintained, and air-conditioned. The availability of clean, cold water was greatly appreciated. The beds were reasonably comfortable, and considering the price, I believe the value received was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend Zee Thai Hostel.

The employees are extremely friendly, understanding, and helpful. My wife and I stayed in a private room together. The sinks on this floor are definitely cleaned several times a day. Although the hostel is clean, unfortunately, people are not as clean. You can access the terrace from the main lobby, and there's a kitchen to the left. It's a relatively small area, but you can get hot and cold water for free from there. In the main lobby, there is free coffee, tea, and snacks. The 7/11 convenience store is only 10 meters away. You can also buy ready-made items from there and heat them up either in the store or using the microwave in the main lobby of hostel. Additionally, the food from the guy across the street is really delicious and reasonably priced. If you're too lazy to go to the city center, you can also get your meals from him. It's within walking distance of Khao San Road, taking about 5-6 minutes on average. There are also many bus stops nearby for public transportation. Moreover, you can use the self-service washing machines at any time for about 30 baht. We stayed for approximately 3 weeks, and they were helpful in every aspect. It truly felt like home. This will be our place to stay on our next trip to Bangkok.

Please fix the rooftop fans, it works but not circling, so sometimes it gets really hot for some places to sit in crowd:) And our room A/C was enough but we think it needs some care. It was oddly producing ice somehow.

I stayed with a friend in a dorm and we spend also one night in a private room. We had a great time there, the staff is nice, they can give you some tips to visit Bangkok. Everything is clean, the rooftop is a plus. You have access to cold water for free. There is a 7eleven just next to the hostel and you are 15 minutes by walk from Khaosan Road. I highly recommend this place to stay in Bangkok.

It can be a bit noisy because of the car pass, it depends of wich side your dorm is.

I had issue with my travel so frantically I booked this place again in last hour which had always felt like a safe space. Staff were kind and supportive, that made me feel better. I am a digital nomad so needed to book a single room to take a call, the room was clean decent and wifi was good overall(only sometime wifi would be slow). I ended up extending 4 more days. I also love how bathrooms have shampoo and shower gels. Of course unlimited drinking water above will cut off your plastic bottle usage. You can use the oven here and even freeze, there is free unlimited coffee too with hot water access. So, overall this is a very nice place. I used to come here 6-7 years back stay in bunk bed, kept coming back because of the vibe and everything.

It is a quiet hostel close to Khoasan road. It's a nice place to work from and chill.

In terms of actual activities, they isn't much to do at the hostel besides watching TV. It does create a rather cold atmosphere that people don't interact in. But usually once you've broken the ice people are pretty friendly.

It is clean and specious. Common area is also good. They do offer free snacks

Quiet but central location, extremly clean, enormous double rooms, nice staff and water, tea and coffee for free. Very good value for money.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Stayed 6 nights in the end and expect I'll return next time I'm in Bangkok. Clean, quiet and calm in a great location just outside the Kao San hustle and bustle. Some lovely streets nearby (Samsen). I got the impression other guests kept extending for the same reason. I slept really well here and enjoyed free coffees on the roof terrace each morning. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help! • The location was great—close enough to the center (15-minute walk) but far from the noise. • There are plenty of delicious places to eat nearby, and the neighborhood is lovely for walking (affordable and amazing restaurants 10/10). • You can find places near the hostel offering cheap airport transfers. • They offer free tea and coffee (and cookies too!). • There’s a 7-Eleven right next door.
