Very clean, no bugs or insects inside the building, toilet and room were both very clean and well maintained

The location was a little away from the bustle of the city, which some may like- saying this you could walk to the busy area in 40 minutes or take a cheap grab (this 45-50 baht)

Very clean, my room had a window and the bed was comfortable. The fan rooms don't have AC so can get quite warm during the day, but that's clear when you book. Only two showers and toilets but I never had to wait for long and soap and shampoo were provided, which was nice. It was very good value - I would have extended my stay but unfortunately they were already fully booked.

The rooms are smaller than they look on the website, which could be an issue for people with a lot of luggage. Food and drinks aren't allowed in the rooms which is a little inconvenient (but there are plenty of restaurants nearby so not a big deal).

Super clean rooms, restrooms and facilites. Location is perfect for those who want to live a more authentic, tourist-free and quiet neighbourhood. Restaurant by the door. Cold and hot water dispenser available all day. 7-11 just crossing the street. Walk 20 meters and You are in Thewet market with many options of local Food stalls, fruit, vegetables, fish and some other groceries. Just 5 min walk to Thewet pier where there's a public boat to get to Kao San, Wat Po and Flower Market. Short walk to Wat Intharawihan Big Standing Budha.

There's no BTS nearby.... but nothing I couldn't cope with. Took a cheap Grab. Car for 4 from hotel to Grand Palace just 85 baht

I stayed at the guesthouse when I first got to Thailand and booked it again for the end of my trip because it was such good value for money! They were super accommodating when I asked to leave my bags there for the day after I’d checked out and I was waiting for my flight home. The furnishing were clean and modern and they had a water tank at reception. There is a 7/11 literally opposite which is handy as well as a lovely cafe out the front. There is a beautiful temple just at the end of the road and it’s close to the ferry which takes you to central Bangkok.

I enjoyed that it was quiet after a long journey but it’s not a super lively hostel if you’re looking to party etc

We had a fabulous 3 night stay. The property and staff were so welcoming so it felt like a home from home. The facilities are finished to a high standard and were always really clean! Sompong was especially accommodating allowing us to check in as early as the room was ready, and allowed us to leave our bags at the property after we checked out before our overnight train. Nothing was ever too much for her! Location was also great with a 7/11 just over the road, bus stops to access all the city a 5 minute walk away, grabs/taxis/tuktuks always easily available, and a beautiful temple at the end of the road! Thank you for you hospitality! I’m sure we will be back!:)

There’s not much to complain about—if anything, maybe just a bit basic, but honestly, for the price, it exceeded expectations.

We’ve liked everything. Is a gorgeous stay we’re the hosts will let you find welcomed and with a beautiful smile showing you all the place and what you need to know for the stay. Quality/price amazing. Place being cleaned every day. Stay not that close to the centre but if you like to walk to see around it’s just going to take half an hour to arrive at Khaosan rd. Will come back definitely!

We are talking about an hostel so you can find many pro and cons depending on who you are and what you accept. We were already preparared for the noise and to be honest we did not had any problem. However, depending on the other people staying there that you can find this as a con.

I have been a few times now. If you want to be by the river and see the attractions, Grand Palace, What Po, Wat Arun etc and not be in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok , this is the perfect location. Near to the pier in lovely Thai area. The guest house is extremely clean and comfortable. I reccomend deluxe rooms with private toilet and shower. But all rooms are good. Sompong the landlady is very helpful and smiling. Stairs are a bit steep if you have a problem with stairs but deluxe are ground floor. I love the place and the area . 7 11 across the road and If you want to go to Bangkok there are taxis or download bolt.

I like everything

We really liked this place. It's very clean and they are friendly. Free water to refill. Very good WiFi connection. The little cafe in front have delicious food and one of the best coffee I drunk already in Souteast Asia. We stayed one week and liked to extend with one or two weeks because we really loved it so much, pity it was full booked and we couldn't extend.

At the first sight the area looked very far away from everything, but when we looked closer to the public transportation we noticed it's not at all like that. Their is a direct bus to the busy centre of Bangkok every 20 minutes and in 20 minutes walking (or a bus from 5 minutes) you are in the busy Khao San.
