Wanted to try Okura since my last trip. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here from the facilities to the location. The check in process was very seamless with assistance from Lily who talked us through breakfast arrangements to the spa and gym etc. For me, service is a contributing factor to my overall experience and it went very well with Lily. The room we got was the corner room with separated bathroom area (not like the pics) but either way is fine. + points + Location is at Phloen Chit station and you have to first enter a mini mall and enter the hotel through the back door if youre taking the train. To me it is not an issue because on the way you will get to pass by 7/11 and boots - which are 2 places that we visit when we need smth and this is such convenience for us! + Rooms are very spacious and clean. (despite it being a 10 year old hotel, the built in still looks good apart from some condensation around the airconditioning which is inevitable) + Gym, albeit not the biggest, but it is spacious enough for several people to be working ut at the same time without intruding to each other's spaces. + I love the water pressure of the shower head and the rain shower and the hot water comes really quickly (impt for me as I get cold really easily and shower in really hot water) + toilet is very spacious and very clean (no water spots anywhere after every day's house keeping which is super thumbs up!) Even the bathtub is sqeaky clean! love it! + i love that they provide shower stuff from Harnn ! + They will turn down the room for you if youre not in and this is such a sweet touch for me (first time experiencing it) and provide us with slippers beside our bed and water!

- points - Not that i can think of any that will deter me from coming back but maybe the leather of the bed frame was a little worn out so that may be an issue for some people but not to me. - Not many movie channels on the TV but they have a wide range of other channels such as new channels/ Japanese or Korean channels.

1. Please consider to provide American coffee and water in lobby all day time. 2. Breakfast buffet quality has gone down compared to pre Covid time, for example, fruit section. We have stayed in your hotel since it was built so knew what it was like in the past.

Our stay at The Okura Prestige Bangkok was very pleasant and memorable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the city, which made it feel peaceful even in the heart of Bangkok. Breakfast was a real highlight, with two great options to choose from each morning – an international-style breakfast and a traditional Japanese set, both fresh and well-presented. A small but thoughtful touch we really appreciated was that every time housekeeping arranged our room, they left a cute little origami swan on the bed – a simple gesture that made us smile. The staff were exceptionally welcoming – from the reception to the doormen, everyone was polite and warm. Each time we returned from exploring the city, they asked us where we had been and how our day went. It created a lovely, personal atmosphere that made us feel truly cared for.

The breakfast was so beautifully presented and has so many tasty options . Infinity pool was breathtaking and it was lovely to drink Prosecco and watch the sunset and see all the night lights appear on the buildings . The dinner at the Up and Above restaurant was mind blowing! I felt I was tasting food from Masterchef. My corner room had fantastic views of Bangkok and the beds and pillows were so comfortable . I love how it was connected to the BTS sky train and Central world shopping mall. Great staff .. they couldnt do enough for you .

There is a lot of wear and tear in the bedroom furniture . Chipped wood , stains etc especially by the mini bar . However this would stop me from coming here again

Location is great, well connected to the Phloen Chit BTS station and Central mall. Room: The Japanese style loose green tea set in the rooms and bedroom yukata was a delightful experience. Bathroom: A sitting dressing area next to the sink was one of my favourite feature where I can sit comfortably to blow my hair and the bright lights on the large mirror help with my make up, not many hotels have this feature for their standard King room. Having those nice Japanese bidet toilets with warm seats gives you the best feeling in the mornings. Breakfast: Flexibility to have either Japanese or International breakfast.

The housekeeping and reception staff were excellent. For example, the reception team proactively provided three access cards for a room with three guests, which was very thoughtful. When we requested a late check-out due to our flight schedule, the receptionist did her best to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. The housekeeping staff were also polite, attentive and very helpful throughout our stay.

The check-in process could be more efficient. While we understand that full details are required for each guest, as returning guests, our information should already be available in the hotel's system for quicker reference. This would not only streamline the process but also help us feel more welcome, especially as this is our third time staying at the hotel.

When I checked in, I discovered my room had been upgraded. That was amazing! The staff!!! The are exceptional in every way of imaginable. Please be good to them! The location. There is a bridge directly connecting the hotel with BTS Phloen Chit. The cocktails (if that's your thing). The bar snacks. The suggestions made by the staff about my stay.

Infinity pool on level 25 with amazing view- open from 6:00-22:00. The breakfast is varied and very tasty. Excellent service at the reception, hotel entrance, dining room, pool, and also from the housekeeping staff — everything is clean and well-maintained. When we arrived at the hotel, they asked us when our return flight was and gave us a late check-out accordingly. In the building, there is a Seven-11 branch that's open 24 hours a day. From there, there's access to the Skywalk, which leads to the Embassy Mall and also to a train station. One or two stops from the hotel gets you to several malls

Every aspect of this hotel exceeded expectations. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, and the room was spotless. The bed was super comfortable. Amenities were top quality. Lovely room with a nice view. The only downside i expected the room to be a bit bigger compared to the pictures but it is not a major issue considering how comfy it is. Breakfast is offered in two sections: a traditional Japanese option and a more extensive international buffet. While the Japanese breakfast is certainly worth trying for an authentic experience, the international selection offers a wider variety and was absolutely outstanding. The infinity pool is very nice and not busy at all. Nice to swim during the day and night (open till 10pm)

After experiencing The Okura in Tokyo, I was eager to try the Bangkok property, drawn by its impressive outdoor pool and the legendary Japanese standard of service. We were not disappointed — the service lived up to the brand’s origins, the Japanese breakfast was flawless, and the continental option on the other side (which also included Japanese elements) was the best I have ever seen. Our corner room was beautiful, with refined decor — even if not quite on par with its Japanese counterpart. And the infinity pool was simply stunning.

The toilets here are slightly simplified compared to the more sophisticated versions in Japan — perhaps a deliberate choice, as those might feel overly complex for an international clientele.
