Having come to the conclusion there was no perfect hotel location in Bangkok this hotel worked well for us. It is between 2 piers for crossing the river which makes the location simple for exploring the major and minor sights of the city. The outside low rise nature of the hotel makes it feel spacious and the view from the bar would be difficult to beat. Rooms were simple with everything you could need. Laundry service was speedy. It is easy to get a tuk tuk back after a night out on the other side of the river.

The menu in the restaurant could do with a few more choices especially if you want a lunch time snack during a lazy day

Fantastic stay! - location easy walk to two ferries and the Wang Lang Market - definitely worth a visit - comfy bed and effective aircon - swimming pool is salt water and perfect temp for a refreshing dip - breakfast is exceptional and the restaurant that has jazz on Fri & Sat nights - wonderful waterfront dining - we went with the chef's specials menu and definitely a culinary delight - great service too -staff at front desk were wonderfully friendly, and really helpful

Only recommendation is better lighting needed in the bathroom.

The room was big, nice and comfortable, and everything was very clean. The staff was very helpful and the pool was great. We loved the breakfast area with a view on the river, and we were very close to a market and a ferry station to cross the river. Great place to stay overall.

For me the only problem was the location - main touristic areas such as the royal palace and the temples were easily reached by ferry, plus the ferry is very cheap, but the ferry station closes at 7pm, so it is not so easy to get back to the hotel by night. You can take a taxi but they are not always willing to take you to the other side of the river. Then the hotel is not close to any subway station which means you also have to use the taxi to reach areas such as Sukhumvit. This would be the only negative point for us, as we we loved everything else about the hotel.

Great location, close to the river, the grand palace, and the wonderful Wang Lang market. Very easy to get around using the local boats from the nearby piers. Very comfortable, well equipped room, good pool for swimming lengths, and excellent breakfast in the riverside restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating. Very helpful and friendly staff. We had one evening meal there which was pretty good, and they did a decent margarita 🍸plus some nice local ales. I’d definitely stay again and happily recommend.

Great location - quiet but a quick ferry away from the busy area around the Grand Palace, and we enjoyed the local market nearby! Loved being close to the river, as it made moving around the city very convenient. Breakfast was fabulous. We also enjoyed the peaceful pool area with lots of shade. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

Bedroom (city view) got quite hot because it had sun all afternoon so air-conditioning needed to be on constantly, next time I would rather book a river-view room for this reason.

We stayed in the suite for 3 days with the view of the Royal Palace and the busling Chao Phraya River. I would have stayed longer if I could. The facilities where excellent, great restaurant, bathroom and air-conditioning top notch and great views from the bar and restaurant, it has a lovely sophisticated ambiance. Rooms where always made up and cleaned and drinks and snacks replaced to high level, making it a nice treat to come back to in the afternoons. It was lovely coming back to the pool in the afternoon and enjoying a cool swim under the trees in the shade and listening to the lovely music in the back ground!! so chilled I fell asleep..lol. Staff are friendly and welcoming and its in a great location away from the fast paced life of Bangkok, but you can step back into if you want. The ferry across the river is no problem and a nice little adventure.

Nothing really! It would be nice to have some comfortable chairs to sit on in the living area, not just the bench sofa..but this is just a little thing.

Lovely pool with plenty of towels and loungers, great breakfast, comfortable rooms of a good size. Good location for the palace, Wat Pho.

The location is across the river from a lot of the other areas of Bangkok, Chinatown and so on. We made use of the water taxi which crosses the river but it stops around 7pm, so it’s a little harder to explore the other side of the river in the evening.

The two suites are fabulous. Spacious, with a wonderful view over the river. Both have balconies - probably could use a chair or two on them! Restaurant very good right by the river with great food choices. The location is opposite the Grand Palace with a short regular ferry across. Amongst genuinely Thai area not beset by solely tourist shops.

The pool area was nice and relaxing, despite reviews saying it's too open! There are still plenty of areas and beds to relax, and I didn't find the openness of it to be a problem. It's just quite a shallow pool, so it's not the best for swimming. Comfortable beds and staff were friendly and accommodating. Nearby market convenient during the day but a lot of restaurants and cafes close early nearby.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak at times. No smart TV / streaming channels which seemed strange for a more modern/expensive place. Room was basic enough, nothing special which was disappointing as this was one of the more expensive places on our trip. Due to the one-way narrow street, it's hard to get a taxi to/from, so we walked up to the 7-Eleven as that was easier. Overall, Grab had a longer wait than other areas we've been though. The ferry boats are convenient but seemed to stop early in the day, which made the location a bit more awkward to get to.

Nice location with a beautiful view. Not far from the local market en near a school, so it is not touristic at all. We had a big room and a nice breakfast.

Our room was next to the storage room, so in the morning I would wake up because of the door slamming, for the rest the room was quiet. The shuttle service wasn’t a ferry ( as it seemed in the description), just a tuk tuk 600m further. Maybe put in facilities it only goes 600m from the hotel (which only takes 5min to walk).
