The location is excellent and considering all the bars and nightclubs nearby it was surprisingly quiet. Definitely can hear the music, but it didn't disturb my sleep. The bedding was very comfortable and the room was small but well designed. The staff spoke English well and were helpful and attractive. For a budget, I highly recommend this hotel. The cafe and bar served amazing food and drinks at very fair prices. I loved the French toast and their house gins were really good, even for someone who isn't into gin.

The beach was underwhelming. The cafe/restaurant had a great view, but stepping down onto the beach it was somewhat unattractive and the water is very shallow for as long as you can wade. The southern end of the beach is where the good swimming is, but it's farther out of the center of things and more expensive.

Lovely hotel centrally located in Chaweng. We stayed for one night and were very pleased with our experience. It’s located at the top of the strip, right on the beach, and is a short walk to all the bars and restaurants. This place was perfect for us as it was a lot more peaceful and quiet than more of the party hotels on the beach/in the town. The staff were great, the place was spotless and there was a lovely pool bar. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quieter, yet centrally located, alternative to the louder party resorts further down the strip.

Good location - shops, cafe, 7/11 - all is near by hotel. Nice and fresh design, good bar and food. In room available beach bag with towels.

Pure water pressure in bath, also first days hot water was not available. Soundproofing pretty bad, and you can hear also music from other hotels/bars

The Stay staff were amazing. Genuinely kind and generous with excellent customer service. They went to great lengths to make access to pool and restaurant easy for my elderly father in law who was on a mobility scooter. Even built ramps to his room and access when I asked. Jumped to help him in and out of the pool. The food at the restaurant was sensational. Ate our way through the menu. No need to venture out unless we wanted to. Roof top bar and breakfast view of the beach. 10 min walk around to amazing swimming beach. Thank you to everyone at The Stay for a wonderful Thailand experience.

Beds were very hard for me. I got used to them after a few days. A few hooks to hang and dry towels would have been helpful. Fridge took a couple of days to get cold.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Nothing negative to say about this hotel. Breakfast was great, strong WiFi, rooms absolutely spotless, shower hot and good pressure. The pool and beach was beautiful. The bean bags on the beach and around the pool were comfy. We loved the swim up bar, the nicest milkshakes we’ve ever tasted. The beach towels AND beach bag provided was so well received! Great location on Chaweng beach, so much to do. It’s a little bit noisy at night from busy ‘ark bar’ down the road, but not loud enough to keep you awake. Troye on reception really stood out to us, he spoke absolutely perfect English, being super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Even providing some great recommendations for our next location in Koh Tao. If we came back to Koh Samui we would deffo stay here again.

The area is great, walking distance from everything, nice beach and bar. The hotel is clean, room too. Swimming pool very nice and the bar serves great cocktails and fruits shake. Staff is very friendly. Room with everything you need.

Maybe the balcony is a bit small for a week stay but it's not a big problem but if you like spending evening outside having a drink it's not very big but you have a great jungle view with birds and squirrels 😊 Also the shower could have a bigger glass to retain the water flooding all the wet room but nothing unbearable. Nothing wrong with this place at all!

There was excellent off street parking across from the hotel.This is type of hotel that if you just want a great location for nightlife it’s perfect but for relaxation it’s not the greatest

The rooms were decorated really nice, the staff were really friendly and the location was superb. There’s rooms were really quiet and the restaurant had really nice food and drinks (personally loved their cocktail special, the frosty berry!)

We got 2 rooms and had to pay extra for a deluxe room as all standard rooms were fully booked. When we arrived they told us both rooms were exactly the same. Booking.com were really good and resolved the issue for us and issued a refund for the extra after photo evidence, but the hotel refused to acknowledge they’d done any wrong. There’s hardly any sunbeds. There could be more around the pool for the amount of rooms. The banana bean bags are also all style and no substance. It’s like the beans have never been replaced. On both the bananas and the beds there’s no way you can really sunbathe on your front, you have to lie on your back.

The room is clean and big enough for two people. We stayed for 4 nights. It has everything you need and is located at the quiet end of the beach but walking distance to the center area for all activities. It’s really out of my expectation. The beach and the bar is awesome with stunning view. The sea at the door is peaceful and safe for swimming and kayaking. The hotel was fully booked every day but we didn’t feel the crowd and managed to enjoy the place.

Only the shower pressure was a bit low and water temperature was not easy to adjust but didn’t cause real issue.

The location is fantastic right on the beach but still just a short walk to all the restaurants and shopping. The rooms are clean very well appointed and modern. The staff are amazing! Mark and his team, including Nat, King and Top among others, were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome! And the food is great! Delicious and fresh. Cocktails and smoothies were delicious too👌🏻

Beds are very very firm. We asked for a mattress topper which they were happy to provide.
