Location, Location, Location! If you love the busy Chaweng Beach area so that's your spot. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The bed is to die for and the room is perfect.

The beach club is working until 00:00 every day, if you are planning to go to bed earlier... it's not that easy if you are a late sleeper. Breakfast- definitely can be better... not enough options, almost no veggies... one time I came at 10:30 and got cold eggs. Pool, small... and the beds around it cost money, doesn't make sense when you pay a decent amount per night.

Everything! It’s new, clean, has a great style, chic and vibes. The staff were very nice and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing, the best we’ve had in Thailand. The location is wonderful, close to everything but yet quiet. By the pool there is a DJ and a great food in the restaurant, so we spent our days sitting by the pool. Will back again :)

There were constructions working while our stay

While situated in Chaweng, which is often considered the noisier part of the island, we felt secluded in our little luxury oasis. Occasionally, music from neighbouring beach clubs would drift over but never at a level we found objectionable. The occasional plane flies overhead but that wasn't a problem This hotel is pure luxury and the attention to design detail and comfort is outstanding. The staff are so warm and friendly and are there to assist you in the most professional manner. The spa has a wide range of treatments to enjoy. The food is delicious and lazing by the pool, with a full food and drinks menu on hand, was a highlight. We absolutely loved our stay.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Occasional music and plane noise didn't affect us at all.

From the moment I arrived at Marasca, it was clear this wasn’t your typical island hotel. Everything, from the relaxed check-in process to the layout of the rooms and the calm, curated vibe, felt intentional and beautifully considered. The design is a standout: minimal without being cold, with natural materials and thoughtful details that strike the right balance between comfort and style. It’s the kind of place where you immediately slow down. Rooms are large and beautifully laid out with a soothing palette and quality finishes, designed for true comfort. That said, if you’re sensitive to noise or looking for total tranquillity, it’s worth noting that the pool/sea view rooms can pick up music from neighbouring beach clubs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. It’s not overwhelming, but for a quieter stay, consider booking one of the garden-facing or back units. Service was warm and personal throughout, without ever feeling scripted or overly polished. Staff genuinely seemed to enjoy working there, and it shows in the atmosphere. Everyone was very helpful and attentive - the front desk helped me a lot when I had to deal with a local bank after my card was eaten by an ATM at the airport.

The Cabanas Beach Club is beautiful and you have various restaurants to choose from for food, all very good. Yet, if you’re after a quiet sunbath time you might not enjoy the daily live DJ at the pool. It’s not crazy loud but it’s still a vibrant atmosphere.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Marasca that was underpinned by so many thoughtful touches that made the experience special. Firstly, the location was incredibly central and put us at walking distance to a plethora of delicious food options. The Marasca app was incredibly convenient and easy to use to handle massage bookings, housekeeping, event information and general communication. The staff were incredibly friendly, with Tony being a particular stand-out. We opted for a massage which was expensive but absolutely worth it. The rooms were very spacious, with amenities such as an in-room steamer and the option to borrow a Dyson Airwrap through the app being impressive even if we didn’t find ourselves leveraging either. In addition, each visit from housekeeping left little gifts (chocolates, scrubs etc) in addition to a welcome package of drinks and snacks. Finally, every day sees a fresh juice stand set up in the morning with another gelato stand in the afternoon that offers complementary tasters to the hotel guests which speaks to the amount of thought put into the experience. We cannot say enough amazing things about Marasca and would definitely recommend it.

It speaks to the quality of experience at Marasca when the only dislikes were the fridge being very restrictive as well as the soap, body wash, shampoo etc dispensers being inconvenient to use.

The staff is your greatest asset, and always the front desk, the house keeping, and Cabana personnel were friendly and accommodating. Just wonderful people and employees.

Access to the pool area was difficult due to my mobility issues. The steps leading to the Cabanas area were steep, and a handrail would have made it much easier to climb. The partial ramp access at the entrance seemed to make no sense as there was no visible way someone in a wheel chair could use it. Likewise, the handicapped rest room is not usable as located. Finally, the many steps up/down in the pool area made walking there problematical…attractive from a design standpoint, but not as practical as a single level. Better access to the beach would have been appreciated as well.

WOW! Where do I start with our time at Marasca in Koh Samui? I guess it begins at the airport…. We were picked up by two staff members (with our names on a board, which my wife loved) and escorted to a waiting van with the air conditioning already running, a massive treat after dragging our bags through customs in the open air. The van was brand new, smelled like flowers, and was stocked with ice-cold Evian water. The check-in process was effortless and enjoyable. We arrived at around 10 am, and the team had arranged a room for us to check in early, a fantastic surprise since we'd traveled from Melbourne overnight and desperately needed a shower and a nap! Before we were escorted to our room, the team took us through a secret door, revealing a room with various additional amenities to make our stay special. From dog grooming kits to board games, a PlayStation 5, weights, kettlebells, Dyson hair straighteners, beach inflatables, Polaroid cameras, and more! We could use any of these items by asking reception or ordering them to our room via the Marasca App. The Marasca App allowed us to stay updated on the latest news around the hotel, including events, maintenance activities, specials, and community events. We could also book spa appointments, chat with the front desk staff, and order room service. Our room was stunning. We stayed in a 'Comfy' room, which lived up to its expectations. I say this without exaggeration - I didn't realize beds could be so comfortable! It was challenging to get out of in the morning. Keep this to yourself, but I think the bed might have been a cloud in disguise. The room's technology was seamless. No card was required to initiate power, casting devices to the TV wasn't confusing, and a wireless speaker was included. We could access all the lights from switches on the bed. The room maintained a perfect temperature throughout our stay, ideal for returning after a long, sweaty run down the beach.

Maybe if the food wasn’t so amazing we would have been encouraged to experience some other restaurants!

The room, the service, all the time we got extra towels, i wasn't needed to ask for anything it just came breakfast was one of the best i had in hotels!

the pool was weird with the paying chairs and i didint know where i can sit and where not, because i knew koh samui already for me it was good because i wasnt at the hotel all the time and had a pool in the room. if your going to spend all you time at the pool make sure you talk with the hotel before to understand its ok

Perfect place for us to relax in our final destination after travelling around Thailand. The staff were lovely and would bring little treats to the room every day. The pool area was amazing to relax with a few drinks and beautiful view of the beach/sea. In a perfect location right near shops/bars/restaurants. Hotel was very luxurious but reasonably priced. Large variety of food options too. After a couple of weeks of travelling, it was nice to relax in the hotel and visit the spa for a well-needed massage.

I had a wonderful stay at Marsca. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my visit very relaxing. I would definitely recommend Marsca to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Thank you for a great experience!
