The location was amazing especially if you are into a bit of the chaos from the bars and pubs but the resort is perfectly located that you wouldn't even be able to hear the chaos for the main strip. The part that this resort has on Chaweng beach as well is perfect - crystal clear and blue. And the buffet was amazing with great service from the omelette chef.

People wake up early and then reserve the sun loungers. This shouldn’t be allowed. I ended up going to other resorts because loungers all used / reserved

Baan Chaweng Beach Resort is in the heart of Chaweng. The rooms are surrounded by beautiful greenery and a nice pool. We booked the junior suite and the room was huge. Small bar fridge but it was super cold which was great for a cold beer. We had a king bed that was soo comfy too. Breakfast had a good selection that changed a little bit each day. Gorgeous calm beach only a minutes walk away with complimentary sun beds. Friendly staff.

My only petty criticism is that we were only given one key that needed to stay in the room for power, so we left the room unlocked the whole time we were there so we had a cool room and cold fridge to come back to. And a lot of places usually have breaky til 11, whereas it finished at 10.

This hotel is simply perfect in every way. The location couldn’t be better — on one side, it has the most beautiful private beach in the area with plenty of seating, a pool, and a lovely café. On the other side, right outside the lobby, you step directly into the main street full of restaurants, clubs, and entertainment. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. In terms of value for money, it’s the best choice you can make. We will definitely stay here again!

Tucked right in the lively center of Chaweng, this hotel feels like stepping through a portal into a tropical oasis. The moment you enter, you're enveloped in lush greenery and the serene atmosphere of jungle-style villas—a world away from the hustle outside. The beachfront is pristine, with a wide stretch of clean, soft sand and crystal-clear waters. Massage stations dot the shoreline, offering the perfect way to unwind under swaying palms. It’s hard not to feel completely at peace here. The staff is lovely and attentive. We stayed in early June, which many consider low season, but to us, it was the perfect time. Fewer crowds, amazing weather, and a relaxed vibe throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking to recharge in paradise.

excellent hotel with spacious rooms, most of which are in the form of bungalows with an excellent location inside, a large area, extremely modernly furnished, especially several of the newest buildings that are run at an executive level. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff who you can turn to at any time and immediately receive truly first-class care. The place is wonderful, the beach is great on one side, the sea on the other side, central on a city street but with enough distance so that you don't hear absolutely any noise, as if you were in an Oasis. I highly recommend it to everyone, even to people who have higher demands. The place is excellent and wonderful for a vacation, just two minutes from the largest center, which includes a shopping complex, restaurants and cafes. And the main street itself has countless cafes, restaurants, massage studios and all kinds of necessary things, including mini markets almost at the entrance to the hotel, extremely convenient and great for a vacation and spending your vacation.

Large size, clean with all needed amenities. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed and good pillow selection. Despite being near the main street room was very quiet.

Not enough chairs by the pool and people putting a towel on a chair to "hold" it despite the staff advising and signage posting this is not to be done. Staff were abused when trying to enforce. This system needs to be reviewed to support hte staff and guests.

Baan Chaweng Beach Resort is perfectly located: right in the middle of buzzing Chaweng but far enough away from the street and the beach clubs to offer you peace and quiet most of the time. Staff is impeccable and super friendly, food is very good! We spent a week here and then moved to a 5* resort further up north and regretted our decision - next time we will stay here the entire time because we loved it.

Fellow tourists hovering over the beach beds from 7.30h on is quite annoying but there’s not much the hotel can do.

Amazing location and resort! The staff are amazing! Extremely customer focused, polite and always smiling! The reception is well organized and Tum & Tum are wonderful! The restaurant and beach team are amazing and so friendly! Pui and the rest of the team will fix anything for you! If it’s a drink on the beach, a parasol or a bite to eat! Always with a smile and a laugh! It has been our 3rd holiday at Chaweng and our 2nd stay at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort. The recent renovations are great and they will be revamping some of the villas soon too! If your looking for a fun but relaxing place on Chaweng beach this is the one!

Nothing really, but you have to accept the fact that Chaweng beach is a popular spot on Koh Samui and there can be music on the beach until quite late but not at the resort. There is also the fact that the airport is close by, but that is the same for all the hotels here. Flights do not start until around 08:00 but it didn’t bither us

This is a well run resort on the less busy side of Chaweng Beach, but a 5 minute walk to hustle and bustle. Great restaurants, shops and bars all in walking distance. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and housekeeping service is impeccable.

The airport runway is directly behind it. It is not a busy airport, but it is worth noting that planes fly in and out right over your head every few hours. Nobody seems to mind it, and some people even loved it!
