Very chill place, access to the beach. Spacious rooms and great location to walk around Chaweng.

When you leave the room, the whole electricity gets shut off... which makes the fridge a bit useless.

Location is perfect, beach access, 5 min walk to Samui Central and food markets, all close by to 7/11 MacDonalds and pubs. Room is very very spacious, furniture is all solid oak. Bathroom is spacious with large vanity area. Shower is a bit pokey but I was fine with that. Electronic locking safe in good working order. My room had its own modem and WIFI was excellent. Flax bag, umbrella and jandals (flip flops) are also in the room if you need to use them. Daily replenishments include tea, coffee, sugar, coffee whitener and 3 bottles of drinking water per person. Cannot comment on the TV or pool as I didn’t use either of these. Laundry service was amazing, clothes came back both times smelling so beautiful and neatly folded. All staff are so lovely and always willing to help. Staff very good at booking tours from the front desk as well.

No lift to upper level, and stairs are uneven in width and height so be very careful or ask ahead to have a lower level room. Pool area was not maintained by a maintenance person/caretaker. Every morning there were empty bottles by the day beds, and fallen leaves that could’ve been swept away to keep the area looking appealing. There were only 5-6 day beds and they are very dated, however they are still functional. Room decor is dated especially in the bathroom and window coverings, but all still functional. These were all insignificant to my overall experience as I adjusted my expectations for what I was paying ($30AUD per night).

This was my second visit to PTK Beach and I cannot fault it. The location is A1, you can walk to everything. It's such good value! Needs some updating now, but everything is clean and cared for. Hey, this is absolute beachfront in the best part of the best beach in Samui! It's at least half the price of anything else that's beachfront. The staff are excellent 👌 Sia, Su, Emma and Da especially stood out. The bar staff on the beach Ray and Htep are excellent. The ladies on reception are brilliant and arranged discounts for us for taxis and trips. I spent 2 months there in April and May, I was quite attached to these guys when I left. King room is best, plenty of room. I'm booking again with you soon for August hopefully, see you then. Can't wait!! I highly recommend this place. 🥰

This was just a one night stay at the PTK. I liked the arrangements of buildings. It leads right to the sea but is not a crowded path that a lot of people use to get to the water. It was quiet, didn’t mind the occasional airplane. Bathroom clean, no old smell or any mold. Bed was ok comfortable. Had a cabinet with clothes rack and some additional space for sitting.

AC wasn’t too strong, Room was warm, but not hot. Inconvenient placing of power outlets and light switches. No reading light or any other small light source. Balcony wasn’t a private one but rather a small bench and table in front of the door. Appreciated I had a room on upper level.

The location is spot on . The rooms have everything you need , but could do with a little tidy up and maintenance . The staff are great and very helpful . Good to see that improvements are slowly but surely happening .

Improvement around the pool area ,although this is happening slowly but surely . The t.v channels could be better , I.e. English bbc or itv . Cannot get wi- fi around the pool area . All in all just needs a tidy up , get rid of rubbish , a good lick of paint here and there and maintenance kept up to date .

The location was perfect for me, right on the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. On the quieter end of Chaweng. When you get to the main road you turn right for the more lively bars, we only did this once, preferring to go left. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was good once you worked out that you logged into you room WiFi, then to the pool area, and finally reception but you only did this once. As well as room towels, you were given daily beach towels to use, which you could take with you on excursions. I used the laundry service which was, in my opinion, value for money.

Safe in my room was locked but I was given use of a locker in reception which is manned 24/7. I did keep some stuff in there but preferred to carry my passport and cash with me. No plug socket near the bed so had to charge my phone in the bathroom as didn't want to unplug the WiFi, fridge, or TV.

It is very close to walking street, shops, night market and it is literally on the beach. The room is huge with plenty of storage space, air conditioning works well. You also got kettle and cups and there is a fridge and tv. You can book transport and scooter with them as well.

They do laundry and unfortunately we didn’t get back one of our favorite hoodie and it’s gone missing completely. I did raise the issue but it is unsolved unfortunately so please check what you get back from laundry straight away. We should have done the same.

The location is great. Close to the beach, markets, shops, restaurants and bars. The accommodation was neat and had all the basics you need. The staff was helpful in arranging transfers. The property supplies comfy beanbags and chairs for the beach and loungers for the pool.

The place is a bit dated and needs an upgrade, yet everything works and is sufficient for a short stay. The local internet didn't work in my room (I never got round to ask for the wifi password).

I don't understand how people can rate poorly. Considering what I paid I really couldn't ask for much more. The Receptionist was very nice and helpful. I got a relatively big private room which was always cleaned upon request. Big bathroom with hot shower and had shower gel, soap and shampoo included. Access to the beach and also right now the heart of everything.

Only let down for me was the pool. Looks like it needs renovation. Not a big problem as you can access pool areas from nearby hotels.

It was close to the beach. On the beach, actually. Room had all sorts of useful items . Real attention to detail. Umbrella, slippers , kettle to make tea, hairdryer, even a beach bag . Top class . It's very central but also really quiet. Exceptional value for money . Wanted to stay another week but booked out . Got another place for twice the price but nowhere near a good as PTK. I'll back for as long as they hold their prices at these rates .
