This hotel is my second time. Great value in the heart of Chaweng. We loved our huge, clean room with daily cleaning and strong AC. The staff were super friendly, even offering free tea/coffee, and the location is perfect—right by the Central Festival, bars, restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. it gets noisy at night due to nearby clubs, and occasional aeroplane noise—earplugs helped. Doors are secured with padlocks, which may feel basic. Overall, it is excellent for budget-conscious travellers who want comfort and convenience—just be prepared for nightlife sounds. Recommended to all. Always i choose this hotel.

Well situated for the main Chaweng nightlife but this does mean it can be very loud in the early hours so bear that in mind, we knew about this location so we expected this but I imagine it could be an issue for families and babies etc. The room was large with good facilities as advertised, no surprises etc. The reception staff (located over the road from our room, as this is a multi complex site) were really helpful and lovely, the safety boxes are also located in reception. We knew when booking this hotel the location and what we wanted so in that aspect this hotel met our needs perfectly.

Nothing, we knew what our expectations were, the hotel advertisement detailed anything we were not sure about so no nasty surprises.

Panupong is the best hotel to enjoy night life in chaweng. hotel is in the prime location of chaweng. near by central samui 100meters . lots of night clubs outside hotel. Arkbar the famous bar is just 1 min from panupong. hotel is well maintained and clean. only thing is hotel doesnt have an elevator . we need to use stairs to go upper floor of the hotel but overall stay was so good and happy

location was in the heart of Chaweng and close to all the bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. You still need a scooter to go around the island though. The staff were lovely and helpful with everything I need or requested.

It gets quite loud every night because of the music nearby, so if you are expecting to have peace and quiet, this is not the place.

I had an AMAZING TIME at Panupong hotel. I had initially planned to spend 2 nights there, but I extended my stay by 2 nights because I felt very confortable there. The hotel is very well located if you want to party and go out (nightclubs about 300m from the room). On the other hand, you have to expect noise all night long (you can hear clubs music until 4-5 am), so I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing stay. For me it wasn't a problem and was even an advantage. The staff are lovely, always smiling and very welcoming. They are available to answer any questions you may have. Rooms are very clean and contains everything you need (AC, fridge, even a balcony). I recommend this establishment 100% and will most probably return for a future stay in Samui.

Little insulation and the AC is a bit noisy, but you get used to it pretty quickly. It clearly didn't ruin my stay. The only negative point was having to leave this place ...

2 minute walk to the high street. You are provided with free water, tea/ coffee and treats. Your room also gets made and the bed is big and comfortable.

Was very noisy as it is next door to nightclubs. Also you have to put the key in the wall for the air con to turn on, so it only works when you are inside the room and takes a while to get cool.

I don’t get the negative reviews about the noise… The hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of the nightlife scene. As a result, it is loud at night which is completely normal. This is something that a pair of decent earplugs would immediately resolve. The room was also spacious and clean.

The bed was squeaking and the AC was also loud (not that it mattered). The things in the room in general were pretty old.

Location was extremely central would recommend for young travelers the staff were so helpful and friendly the property was spotless and the housekeeping staff were on hand to help at all times

Very loud there was a few nights we didn’t go out and the proximity to the clubs and airport made it hard to sleep recommend ear plugs if your a light sleeper

Big room, a lot of toilet tires, clean clothes clean room, close to mall and night life

Unlucky, I was assigned to the room with old air-conditioning. It was crying too loud with Gag Gag Gag sound throughout the night. I cannot sleep with that, so I turn it off and sleep with that hot temperature. No staff at night, I found no one to help fixing it or at least changing the room. I informed staff when check out, they look like the owner or manager not to let anyone staying in this room. For my case, there was no compensation at all.

The staffs were friendly. The room was very clean. The location alao was great, you could find many local restaurants and bars around. We extended our stay for more three nights, because we were truly happy with everything.

The bathroom was a bit outdated. I wish they had hairdryer on the bathroom as well.
